  1. Once a cheater, always a cheater. I can't trust anything you say or do. I hope the Falcons wipe the Patriots off the map Sunday.
  2. It's not Joe's fault Webb is paid top corner money, and is now barely serviceable as a safety. It's not his fault that the only consistently productive defensive players to be drafted since the Super Bowl are Brandon Williams, Timmy Jernigan, CJ Mosley and Tavon Young. It's not his fault that the defensive coordinator has the corners play 10-15 yards off a receiver in 3rd and 5 situations, or that he can scheme a defense to play stout for 50 minutes before inexplicably disappearing for the final 10. You didn't read what I said, I don't blame the defense because at the end of the day it's an offensive league. Why do QB's get paid so much money? Answer that question first before you start running off at the mouth about a defense rank #7, where is the offense ranked? Webb was a 6mill cap hit, so what are you talking about. Flacco was a 20 mill cap hit. If you're getting paid more than Tom Brady you shouldn't need a defense to protect you. If the offense was more consistent, then a lot teams wouldn't attempt to have an all out assault on the #7 rank defense. The reason why they do is because they don't fear the Ravens offense especially when your QB turns the ball over 16 times in a season. One plays off the other if you know anything about football.
  3. I am sorry that you are unable to dictate the going rate for QBs in the league. There seems to be a misunderstanding of even basic Economic concepts here. And unfortunately, that is not surprising. It's easy, pull a QB off the street and he can play just as well if not better than Flacco. Being Ranked at the bottom half of the league in QBR and no what's unfortunate is getting paid what he's getting paid without results, a kindergartner could understand that. Instead of resigning him which was definitely not economically viable, they should've let his contract run out, that was more logical than rational, because we've seen it for the past 4 years now. You can't get more logical than proof on paper.
  4. I feel sorry for Steve Smith, you know he has to ask himself if it was the right decision to come to Baltimore and not New England. Steve Smith deserved a super bowl ring.
  5. This Is an offensive league so I don't really blame the defense, at the end of the day the offense needs to score points and stay on the field to protect the defense. Why pay Flacco all that money if you want the defense to protect the offense? Tell Flacco to give half of that money he got and maybe they can build a defense. And I know people will start naming all these other QB's that got paid, well look at where there teams are, at home just like the Ravens and look at where they're ranked in QB ratings. Until that happens the Ravens will always be a 8-8 team or even worse. Only a hand full a QB's should get paid that amount of money because they can actually carry a team. Ravens shot themselves in the foot again when they extended Flacco's contract which set the team back again another 4 years. Ozzie has really been slipping lately.
  6. The whole defense needs to be replaced, starting with the coach. There is nothing intimidating about the Ravens defense. That last play when Antonio Brown reach over the goal line with Eric Weddle and Mosley drapped all over him is a prime example. Could you imagine had that been Pollard and Ray Lewis? John Harbaugh ruined this team after the super bowl year. He tried to make it his team instead of going the tradition of hard nose football players. They will never get back to that until Harbaugh is gone. Fours years after the Super Bowl and Ravens have just been mediocre. One playoff appearance, you have to be kidding me. That should tell Steve Bisciotti everything he needs to know about Harbaugh. He's simply not a good coach and he benefited from Ray Lewis being there.
  7. Amen!! I can not remember a time when someone said the Ravens have a hire power offense. This team has been about one thing since they moved to Baltimore and that is winning ulgy games and doing it with defense! Then why pay Flacco all that money instead of spending it on the defense? Flacco should be put in jail for stealing all that money he's being paid. You don't get paid for what you did in the past, you get paid for what you should do in the future and since being paid twice after the super bowl and the extension he's done nothing but collect a check every week. But I can blame him though, I blame Ozzie. He gambles too much and now it's costing them.
  8. If I were the eagles I would go after Mosley because he might be the worse cover LB I've ever seen on this team, even worse than Ray Lewis in his later years
  9. They should've been that conservative on the last drive
  10. Well He is the franchise QB he could've easily said no we're running the ball.
  11. Hence creative, not only that they have far less talent than the ravens have and they sustaining drives. Any other team would've blown them out.
  12. If the Ravens offense was half as creative and the eagles they would be a dangerous team
  13. If you have to depend on another team to lose and make it to the playoffs, you don't deserve to be in the playoffs
  14. In the NFL there's no such thing as separation, only separation you get is from a busted coverage. How many times Thursday night did you see Brady throw the ball with the corner or safety all over them? The touchdown pass when he zipped between 2 defenders come to mind, with about 20 more passes along with that. You throw your WR open, it's the NFL not college.
  15. What option at the line was he supposed to use, exactly? Since you seem to think you know more about running an offense than Flacco does, or than our offensive coaches do, I'm legitimately curious to hear your answer. They were dropping 8 back into coverage all game, while we've got 3 or 4 guys running routes, and we don't even know which 8 guys are dropping back into coverage, because they were disguising that until after the snap, sending a random 3 guys to rush the passer each snap. Wasn't Flacco doing the right thing by taking the checkdown when nobody else was open? But our checkdown guys weren't doing very much with the football after they got it in their hands. I also think people keep forgetting that this is a simplified offensive because there are so many inexperienced pieces and team chemistry is low due to so many new players who aren't familiar with the team/system (heh, as if you could call it that when we're on the 5th OC in 5 years, and the 2nd one this year), players who missed a lot of the off-season due to injuries (Perriman, SSR, Flacco), offensive line shuffles due to injuries, rookies, etc. Even with simplified snap counts and minimal adjustments at the line, we still screw up the blocking scheme a lot where we get two guys blocking the same guy and nobody blocking the free pass rusher, and we get among the highest number of pre-snap penalties in the NFL. The team isn't cohesive enough, coaching hasn't been consistent enough, and the number of inexperienced players and lack of team chemistry all lead to a dumbed down offense that's mistake prone. I want to know what adjustment he was supposed to take to go against a weakness in their zone coverage. Where/what was the weakness, specifically? Changing the route of the WR's is one option, Crossing routes are other options. If he done that he would be checking down to the RB all game. What defense wouldn't want you to check down for 2 or 3 yards every play? That's simple math. How does a QB say after the game they thought they would run more man to man? That sounds to me that you really didn't have a plan going into the game if that's what you thought. What QB (not even an elite) in his right mind would go into a game that ill prepared? Having your WR running the same route on every play is elementary, and idiot would know that. What I saw Brady doing is how a $150 million QB plays and run a offense with lesser talent the what Flacco has. Did you even watch the game Monday night? For the most part Flacco stay clean the whole night so I know you didn't watch the game. The only missing piece to the line was the RG and his replacement has been there for the last 4 games, so what shuffles are you talking about? 1st and 10 at the one yard line, the defense has 9 in the box, why the hell would you run the ball in the teeth of the defense on their strong side? A play action seems more logical. The Raider have the most penalties of any team in the NFL and they still find ways to win, so I don't want hear anything about penalties. The reason the offense is dumb down is because of Flacco. And like I said earlier his comment after the game prove my point.
