    Curious as to why Tucker can't hit a 50 harder at home... can we finally stop talking about the playoffs. This season to me was over after the Oakland & Cleveland loses. I don't know how this team is even functioning right now. Pees does the same old crap and has the CB's play 8 yards off WR's., They aren't forcing turnovers (today yes), Flacco making mistakes, Trestman not wanting to run the ball. This team has lost a their spark and will have to reevaluate everybody this year because if someone doesn't get fired we will have the same problem next year. The best thing is Ravens have a top 5 picked build off that. Hopefully Ozzie finds someone that can make a play in the back.

    Man that first game against Denver, watching that defines was amazing, kept Manning in check. Denver didn't move the ball at all and we actually had a takeaway! From that first game I thought this team was going to be amazing. Second game against the Raiders I thought we would win, but Carr goes crazy and torches the defence. Game three against the Browns at home. This should be a win, but no McCown looks like a hall of fame throwing over 400 yards... The list goes on. This team doesn't have the tools to go 8-0. If you somehow think Pees will be a good coordinator you're wrong. The defence is so bad, no turnovers, no stops, no heart at many times. The worst thing for the Ravens to do right now and I have a feeling will happen they will win a couple of games (not 8) and lose a nice high draft pick. Think about what Ozzie can hopefully do is find a playmaker in the back, grab a safety, cornerback, that would be ideal. This team isn't as bad as the record, but this team can refine their look just a little bit and become a contender again.

    Seahawks will be tough, but that is a home game. Steelers will also be tough, but again home game. The rest is win-able. The Bengals may nothing to play for in the last game and rest their starters (besides, I'm tired of losing to that team). 8-0 is possible. BEAT. THE. ODDS!

    "The rest is winnable" The Ravens had winnable games vs the Raiders, Browns and 49ers. Games they should have won. This team won't be winning the winnable games you're speaking of. I wish they were, but it's not happening. SSS gone, a defence that shows up when they feel like it. No way, but I hope you're right.

    It’s time to take the pressure off Smith.  If anything, the Ravens should treat his injury as a call-to-arms, a warning to surround quarterback Joe Flacco with more wide receiver weapons.

     

    ^ Take the pressure off Smith?  Naw!  More like, take the pressure off of Joe Flacco by surronding him with at least 2-3 more solid playmakers at the wide receiver spot!  Who says the Ravens should have only 1 guy that can fight for passes and make the catch, take the top of the defense, run crisp routes, slants over the middle, outs to the sidelines etc?  Why not go after 2-3 guys that can do that?  Let's stop making this same old tired and lame excuse for why Joe hasn't made a pro bowl his entire career so far.

     

    GET HIM THE WEAPONS so we can put this argument to rest!

     

     

    I totally agree. Every "analyst" talks about Joe not being elite yada yada yada. When has Joe ever had weapons? Players the opposing team actually were afraid of? Maybe the Super Bowl year when we had Boldin & Smith, but other than that he's been working with average/ below average players. Look at every QB in the league and see what he is working with and who they had in the past its ridiculous. Ravens need more playmakers and a real #1 receiver. VIA trade or draft, Ravens need somebody.

    Looking through the last years of the Draft since 2010, so five years. The Ravens have taken 7 players for their backfield and none of them have done anything. Look at Arizona and how they have built a secondary through the draft by using high picks. Ozzie has to wake up and start making moves to get a top CB/S/FS. Because the boys we have just aren't cutting it. The whole philosophy best player available hasn't really worked for us as of late.

    They wil always be rolling unfortunately. The Ravens can learn something from that offence. All the Pats do is spread the receivers out and do short throws and it works. Nobody has stopped them this season, They will be representing the AFC in the Superbowl for sure. As much as I hate them they are always winning and always doing well. Ravens had that for a while, but the way this team is currently functioning it may take 2-3 years to make the playoffs again.

    With there being only 11 teams left with winning records at this point. I would say it is a reasonable thought that at least one team with a losing record will be making the playoffs. So it isn't impossible to still make the playoffs with a 10 - 6 or 9 - 7 records. But lets just win the next one and take it one game at a time.

    If you think the Ravens will be able to win at least 9 games you are truly wrong. I can see the Ravens maybe winning 2 or 3 more games, but other than that it's a bad year. This team is playing with 0 heart, 0 confidence and 0 drive. This season to me was over after the Oakland loss. A playoff team doesn't lose to the Browns at HOME, Raiders and 49ers. They will lose to the Chargers as well. Rivers is going to torch the secondary so hard. When we have a top 5 pick this year, Ozzie better wake up and draft well. To address the secondary with a 4th or 5th  round pick is beyond me. They need a secondary badly. There is not one guy on the secondary that is playing well right now. Hill may be the only guy. It's also sad when SSS a 35+ year old man is playing with more heart than any other Raven on the team. This is not a playoff team, period.

    When I read people saying that the Ravens had a bad start its ridiculous. You played the damn Browns and Raiders. You should win and close out these games. The game vs Denver. How do you go 4 quarters of no offence and then suddenly on the last drive decide to play football? Against Cincinnati AJ Green beat the defence. The 49ers game sheesh. These are all winnable games. The team just self destructs. I also think there may be cockiness in the locker room. They get to the 4th quarter and decide not to play football. They think the other teams will just lay down for them. Even with all these home games I don't see the Ravens doing much. I love the Ravens, but this year its just awful to watch. This isn't a playoff team what so ever. We will get a nice high draft pick this year and hopefully they draft someone who will make a difference on the team. Look at the what the steelers have done on offence and Cincinnati as well. Lets go Ozzie time to wake up!

    A top 5 pick sounds better than making the playoffs right now. Look at it if this team somehow snuck into the postseason which will not happen. They will get smacked around. If you can't beat teams like the Browns, Oakland, 49ers you don't deserve to be in there. Next up is Arizona which will be another L. Looking ahead of the schedule Ravens may win just one game and that's against the Jaguars, but then again that secondary will make Blake Bortles look like a hall of famer.
