  1. Just finished season 4 of Breaking Bad. ...I loved it.

It's sad knowing the show is already over though lol. Fios has the first half on season 5 but it says it not available. I really wish Netflix had it, can't wait to watch all of season 5

The fifth season will give you fits if you loved the rest off the series. It really changes perspective on the characters.

  2. That's because the Academy doesn't appreciate good movies, they like artsy crap.

The Dark Knight Rises and the Dark Knight were very artsy and very good... But neither won best picture. The Dark Knight especially should have won. But you can't have a superhero movie winning best picture.

  3. True. I wouldn't say Con Air or Face Off are great movies or great performances. But they fall more under the category of guilty pleasures.

Cage was very good in Wild at Heart (during his prime), I just remember not being the biggest fan of the film even though it was critically a success. Just not my cup of tea.

I just love the snakeskin jacket.

  4. You have to go back to some of his earlier stuff. I agree that nowadays he is somewhat of a joke. But he used to be very good.

Red Rock West (1993), Raising Arizona (1987), Moonstruck (1987), Rumble Fish (1983). Those were the epic years of Cage. Then he put together a nice middling (almost action) career of Leaving Las Vegas (1995) , The Rock (1996) , Con Air (1997), and Face/Off (1997). Then things started getting bad but he had a comeback year in 2005 with The Weather Man and Lord of War. Then it got real ugly.

I would leave Con Air and Face Off off that list. Real ugly is an understatement. Also no Wild at Heart?

  5. I wanna see that Olympus Has Fallen movie with him and Gerard Butler. When I first saw the trailer, I thought it was GI Joe 2 only to find out it was a good movie with better actors in it.

Lol ya it looks pretty good. I'm actually pretty psyched for the 3D release of the first Jurassic Park

  6. I'm just saying the price quickly adds up over time. Not to mention you're probably only going to watch a given movie once in a while, at best.

I don't buy a ton of movies... Only the timeless ones and the recent ones I absolutely love and could watch plenty of times. My recent additions have been Space Jam, Ghostbusters, Back To the Future, End of Watch, Flight, and Batman as previously stated.

  7. I could buy 2 DVDs for the price of 1 deluxe Blu-Ray Disc.

What Blu-Ray discs are you buying and what DVD's? I usually pay about $24.99 for the Blu-ray DVD combo with UV streaming. While I pay $14.99 for just the DVD... I prefer the $25 dollars for more quantity and quality.
