Brandon Williams, Timmy Jernigan, and Carl Davis have all been good in that same time. Sometimes it's just a bad pick.Matt Elam played well in his rookie season but was just bad in his second season. I honestly like to reserve my comment on him because the guy never got the opportunity to play in his third season due to injuries. It's interesting how high round picks like Arthur Brown, Terrence Brooks, and etc haven't been able to get it yet and only one constant remains which is Dean Pees at defensive coordinator.
Garrett may have given him some trouble but that was Tunsil's first start of the year and Garrett got shut out of the sack column and was handled pretty easily for the most part except for a handful of snaps.i agree. He seems strong and powerful against the run and flashes in pass protect but i feel he doesnt have the technique down and seems slow to react at times and is forced to time his backpedal. I also noticed myles garrett from texas am give him some fits, garretts athleticism and speed off the edge seemed to give him trouble. Not sure how hed stack up against guys like von miller.
I just don't see Ramsey being a good corner or safety in the nfl. At least not one worthy of a 1st rounder IMO.
I'd prefer to watch them play well but just not quite good enough to pull it out. That way I don't lose complete faith and we get an elite player but oh well.Me, three.
Who woulda thought we'd be on a win streak.
Like that was sweet so I don't even care about the draft position at all.
Seriously?
Solid play by Aiken.
Atta Harvard boy.
I've played on losing teams and winning teams throughout my years and never experienced that issue. I expect nfl players to be mentally tough enough to handle 1 horrible season. You don't want to start developing a loser's attitude on your team.
You didn't know that?Jimmy is an undrafted backup?
Sorry, I thought we were rooting for a top pick.Yes.
Which is good?He also won us the game.
Nice TD Browns.
Come on Browns. You should be better than us right now!
I think Bosa would be pretty flashy...I agree completely. Hargreaves is definitely my favorite of the 3, Tunsil and Bosa both seem like very logical picks but part of me kind of hopes they get taken before us because just once I'd like the "flashy" pick.
I agree completely.Point taken but he has something going for him. I think it's plausible that his route running trumps the top end speed. A lot of receivers aren't overly fast. I think he be successful regardless of a top end speed deficiency. Receivers are caught from behind on a regular. It's a none issue for me currently.
Boyd has huge hands, good YAC ability, is an ideal possession receiver, blocks for a run first team, is the best route runner in the draft and creates separation regularly. But he isn't overly fast.Tyler boyd isn't overly fast, Seperation issues and has off the field issues no thanls. I'm not familair with this draft class (WR wise anyway) cause I scout after the season (though might start early cause schaub...) ANYWAY. Good traits to look for in a reciever is a guy who runs good routes (DUH but this is usually forgotten about if he's fast) Blocks for his teammates, Runs his route even if he know's he's not the primary reciever. Makes 3rd down catches, has YAC ability, Big hands.
I agree completely.Don't see the appeal
It's not mentioned in there but it's reported that he was also hit in the hip as well as the 2 shots to the head.http://deadspin.com/reports-rams-wr-stedman-bailey-shot-in-the-head-1744564560
Um.... Prayers for Stedman
I'd be furious if we got rid of Joe at least while he's playing solidly. If he falls off a cliff performance wise then it'll be more reasonable.I personally think that would be pretty stupid of us, but that's just me. It's too hard to find a franchise QB. If that's the case, I'd draft a QB high and keep Joe for at least a year before making this move.
I've been watching a lot of Noah Spence lately. He's a very impressive pass rusher and a solid run stopper. He needs some work in coverage though. He could be a great bargain pass rusher what with his character concerns. But he seems like he has resolved them at least a fair amount.
If only we had a receiver that could make catches like that.Nice catch...
Yeah, I'm not 100% sure where he is projected but if it's late first does anyone see him as a candidate for a trade up from our presumably high 2nd round pick?I think it's a need VS draft position thing with him. If we end up not getting in the top-10, I think his name will come up more often.
