  1. It's just a little garden snake but it might as well be a king cobra as far as I'm concerned. The snake catchers haven't caught it yet, either. Tomorrow they're coming to seal the house to make sure there is never another one (or mice, either). I can deal with mice (and have done so) but snakes are just too much.

Intellectually I know it is harmless (and even beneficial). Emotionally, it's a freakin snake and it's in my house!

Living in Florida in surprised I've never had a snake in my house but I do find frogs very often and they always startle me lol.

  2. One player who really deserves credit is Shareece Wright. He got flamed after the 49ers game, but was in a really tough situation having not played all season and having only been with us a short week going into that game.

Since then he's balled out, only allowing 8 catches. Against the Browns he really stood out. He was tested time and again, and really rose to the occasion. Granted it was against a poor QB and receivers for the most part, but he was still our highest PFF rated defender.

He deserves credit for the turn around, and if he continues to play this way will be a great piece in turning around the secondary play in giving us a quality CB3.

Definitely. We need all the help we can get and he has definitely delivered. He probably earned himself a spot down the road on our roster.

  3. RB James Conner is definitely not coming out. He was diagnosed with Hodgkins Lymphoma. He is quoted as saying "we are going to fight this thing and we are going to beat it. I will play football again. I realized that fear is a choice. I choose not to fear cancer. I choose to fight it and I will win."

Head coach Pat Narduzzi said "Cancer started the fight, James is going to finish it."

  4. That was a long winded post just to say you love Flacco to a fault.

All players that play the QB position and make the playoffs in the NFL have a chance at being a Superbowl winning QB.

Apparently looking at Big Ben's numbers in his first Super Bowl you can manage a game if need be, when you make it there.

This, kinda being my point. You don't need a Big arm QB to win a Super Bowl.

You just need a guy that doesn't turn the ball over, and manages the game. With Flacco's current contract we are all but saying; "We are going to ride you to another Superbowl".

When the past two seasons after losing some of our key pieces to free agency (Pernell Mcphee.....i'm still mad about this ) he has yet to make a return to the playoffs.

So your Golden guy is trending in the wrong direction.

Which furthers my point. If we are able to get a guy, that can give us 230 yards a game and two scores, while limiting turnovers, we can win.

A guy like that just can't cost 120 million.

So, you don't expect a guy that averages, over 16 games, 3,680 yards and 32 TD passes while having few turnovers to cost just as much? Also I bet most teams would love that guy lmao.

  5. Because we totally have a say in what the front office decides to do.....

Do you understand how difficult it is to find a SB caliber QB?C Butler

Caron Butler, the 35 year old Sacramento small forward who doubles as a mediocre quarterback. What a legacy.

  6. Yeah I agree! I am sick of all this wishy washy stuff on here, I miss the days when people were either for a player or against them with no middle ground! Kinda like the Pats fans are with Brady(although without the against them part)!!! These guys are either the best players ever and should be defended to the death on these boards or they are bums and must be cut and run out of town! And one play should not change the stance of so many people when it comes to this stuff! And now I should mention I am having fun with this post for the most part and you should not take this personally and neg it or I will be very sad.

Also, sarcasm is a forgotten art in RT(it survives deep in other areas of the forum but it's existence has come into question by a number of posters), one must always point it out nowadays which ruins the fun :(

    Negged, be sad. ;)

  7. Why am I not surprised you like a cornerback of all things?? Tunsil is the most dominant player in this draft. And you probably consider a 9-7 and a playoff L successful?? And 34,35????!!!!! What are you saying?? You don't consider both ages a declining player?? What is your argument??

Why are there so many question marks? Are you confused on how to use them or are you just emphasizing how inquisitive you are?

  8. I'm beginning to think very highly of trading back for an extra second. I've gotten on the Kearse bandwagon a bit, he isn't the rangiest guy but I like his coverage skills, i see very little drop off from him and Ramsey, and they seem like very similar skill sets. Also the Lawson rushers have grown on me and I could see either of them here after getting good value on a trade back and then trading back up for a fuller or alexander.

I personally prefer Kearse to Ramsey. I like his coverage and ballhawking skills substantially better.

  9. What do you guys think of Clemson's cornerback, Mackensie Alexander? If the Ravens pick around 10-ish, he could be the next best DB after Ramsey and Hargreaves. I was reading up on him and he definitely sounds like the type of player you'd want to add to the Raven's defense. http://espn.go.com/college-football/story/_/id/13467468/clemson-tigers-cornerback-mackensie-alexander-best-worked-it

This is the part that really stood out to me:

It reminds me a bit of the way Lewis and Reed would constantly review game tape to see how to improve and how to beat their next opponent.

I think he's got some great work ethic but honestly I'm not a huge fan so far after watching. At least that high in the draft. High 2nd or late 1st sure. But top 15 I just don't see it.
