    I'm not going to post what's wrong with everyone at every position at every level of the team. I'm just going to say yes we have somethings to work on. I'm going to drink the purple koolaid and believe we can make the corrections. RavensNations lets get behind this team and help them beat the hated Steelers. Watching the Jags on TNF show me things can be so much worst.

    Go Ravens!! Go Front Office!!! Go Coaching staff!!! Go Fanbase!!!!

    Let us all do our part to keep Bmore on the football map!

    Wrong, right or otherwise, I don't really care about the outcome of this one. I'm still high from my day at the bank last week. I love how the team, the organization and the fans protected the house against the hated Steelers. For me, I'm having the family over to watch our last game of the year. A win would be nice, but I got my bone for this season last week.

    OK all, just a few days ago I posted a lighthearted post about the miracle it would take for us to get a win this weekend against the Steelers. Today, I want to post about how proud I am of this franchise. Yes, this is a season that tested the will of it’s fans. However, maybe the reason we feel so tested is we have been pretty spoiled in the 20 year history of the Ravens. It’s hard for me to believe that none of the storied franchises out there have not gone through a season like this. This is the kind of season that define a fan base. Wrong, right or otherwise I’m definitely willingly to give this franchise a chance to right the ship. I know it won’t be easy, but I just can’t believe this will go on for years. I will be there Sunday. Not expecting it to be pretty. However, if all the cards align and somehow we pull this off, boy I’m going to setback and enjoy seeing the STEELER fans go home disappointed.

    I'm going to the game...We will win!

     

    This is how...

     

    1) Refs make a series of bad calls against the STEELERS

    2) Antonio Brown has to go to the bathroom really bad in the second quarter and stays there until the fourth quarter

    3) Injuries...not going there even with the STEELERS

    4) Every time Ben goes deep, a strong wind comes from nowhere and deflects the pass

    5) The 10,000 Ravens fans that actually go to the game make the noise of 70,000 and make it hard for the STEELERS offense to operate

    6) And the Ravens 3rd string actually scores a TOUCHDOWN!!!

     

    Could happen....

    My reaction was, "There goes three more draft positions".

     

    I'm reminded of an anecdote, one of my favorite NFL players was Brian Urlacher.  The Bears were 7-8 that year going into the last game against the Vikings, with nothing on the line.  A win provided nothing except Lovey Smith an 8-8 record.  Late in the game with outcome in the balance Urlacher was still in.  He was injured defending a pass in the end zone and missed training camp the next year and that essentially was the end of his career at about 34 years old.  Had the Bears finished 7-9 the Bears would have moved  up about 8 draft positions and Urlacher would have contributed more the next season.

     

    I just don't get it.

     

    I agree with several folks here. I never want to see "losing" for any reason be an acceptable position at anytime inside the walls at one winning drive. "You play to win the game". Look at the Browns...plenty of high draft picks, but a losing culture persists. #DontGoThereBmore

    I know there is not much to get excited about this year, but I pretty excited to see Ray Ray come home today to be honored at the game. Just maybe...just maybe...there be a little extra energy in the crab cake today and our boys pull off a W. Hell I wish Ray could strap it on and get out there in help them boys!!

    Interesting. I was at that game. We had a great time. There were some spirited fans, but we had no issues anywhere close to this. My buddies and I have done road trips over the last 10 years and have not had any problems. I don't know. When we do road trips, we know we are not at the Bank and we don't act like we are at the Bank. We root, but it's not over the top.

    Wish me luck Ravens Nation! Been there once before. Pressing my luck again, but this is serious. Hope we win Sunday, then I'm on the road to steal one in the burg Thursday. I will do my part.     Ray ended his career on a defensive stand that will be remembered for a long time. Won't it be great to see Steve end his career on a must have TD. Tall order, but I'm tuning in for the run! Thanks Steve. You will always be remembered as a warrior on the field and a hell of a man off the field! In a few months enjoy your retirement, but until then...Ice up man!!!!!!!
