  1. Gonna be a tough road to the playoffs, but we are arguably the best team prepared to go into Gillette stadium and win given our history and subtle rivalry with the Patriots in the Harbaugh/Flacco era. We have won big games against dominant Patriots teams before so maybe we pull out a win next monday. I predict we lose, but hopefully I'm wrong.

Then we got 3 tough matchups against Philly, Pittsburgh, and Cincy. It's nice to see our squad finally gel and have some success and playoff hopes, but these last 4 games will show how strong our team really  is this year.

  2. If we don't turn this season around and make the playoffs I'd think Steve and Ozzie would at very least have all eyes on Harbaugh if not fullblown fire him. Harbs has been more of a spiritual leader and special teams guide, and relies on his assistants and position coaches to get it done on Sundays, but for whatever reason, even through quite a few questionable calls throughout his career (a couple this season), he has been a great leader and has made it a a fun nearly 10 year run chocked full of fun playoff runs and a superbowl win, although the last 3/5  seasons have been a little underwhelming and have made us spoiled Ravens fans a little aggravated.

This would mark 3 straight subpar seasons so I think it might be time to make some changes, although I'd rather see a new offensive system installed than a full on Harbaugh firing. Realistically the Baltimore Ravens offense has never excelled at anything aside from being a balanced run heavy attack, but obviously alot of success including  2 superbowls have come along with those typically so-so offenses so only a spoiled fan would truly complain. It would be nice to put a good chunk of emphasis on looking our offense at its core and look to install the best possible system for our success rather than keep this same vanilla system.

There is blame to be placed all over this team, from a historically bad bout with injuries, to drafting/off season signings, lack of talent, coaching and downright execution out there on game day. Despite a hot star to the season we are pretty awful in a lot of different places this year.  The only area that gets more neglect than our offense is our secondary which doesnt have a hope in the world without Jimmy Smith.

Our offense is what needs the most TLC, so if I was Steve I would step in and instead of firing Harbaugh find a new OC who can do more with what we've got on offense. I've never been a fan or Marty Mornenwhig, and I'm tired of paying $120M just so we can be run heavy year after year. Flacco ain't great but we should be able to get more production out of him than this.

  3. Not just yet. Perriman was going to be raw going into year 1 regardless if he got the full off season treatment and played a full 16 games last year. Obviously he got injured early in the off season and missed the entire year.

This season he got injured again and missed a ton of off season time yet again aside from a few practices and pre season reps.  He needs time to grow and develop for sure. But as we have seen this season he has big play potential with his dominant athleticism, he just needs to be more consistent, and work on his route running and catching. The problem is we need him to make plays for us NOW and he isn't producing. Maybe BP can use the bye week to get some practice in and 1 on 1 time with Flacco, because Joe needs help, if i was Joe I'd be talking to everyone this offense and try to build as much chemistry in a short time as possible and go into week 9 ready to put up some numbers to get us out of this historically terrible offensive rut.

Im excited for the new King Kong movie next year....

Yea I  loved Lionsgates  Godzilla, and the  Kong Skull Island trailer looked awesome, and the fact that they re doing a Kong V Godzilla after that  it's looking like things are going to get epic.

  5. Bosa seems like a hotdog to me, just sign your contract and play it out, he must think he is light years above JJ watts talent level or something. If I were the Chargers I'd be looking to trade him if possible.

Hopefully he comes in and fans out and turns into a bust...Jokes on you Bosa! Lol bad things happen to those who hold out...being out of shape, injury prone, and complete lack of playbook knowledge and overall flow of the next level. So glad we didn't get him.

Suicide Squad got pretty terrible reviews

Hopefully Suicide Squad is fun. It's not a movie I'm expecting much from plot wise.

I feel every movie gets terrible reviews now a days unless it's a damn Oscar nomination lol Suicide Squad did have a pretty basic plot and was more of an introduction movie showing off its new characters but it worked well and was super epic. It doesn't have the boring filler that BvS, and Captain America Civil War had (Baron Zemo/Crossbones subplots made me fall asleep zzzzzzzz lol)  was never a moment is Suicide Squad where I was bored or questioning the overall direction of the movie.

I read all the horrible reviews for it before seeing it and was surprised it got bad flak .. namely for the lack of joker (which I thought there was a healthy dose of him in short scenes that made the plot work), the villain who I thought was basic, kind of weak, but made for alot of great fight scenes, and also a lot of people complained about the  overuse of music but  I loved the soundtrack.

I was absolutely shocked and surprised how fun, hilarious, dark, upbeat and overall epic this movie was. Its just a fun ride.

This is how I'd want that series to go. Curry passes it to a wide open McGee and loses it in the final seconds with another tragic Bronson pass to KD. Westbrook than takes it and lobs it to Oladipo for a slam dunk.

Yea it would be epic to see Russ and company upset the warriors in each and every matchup they have this season. They will probably matchup atleast 2-3 times before the post season. Then of course the real fun begins.

How cool would it be if they played in the western conference finals...

I'm hoping and praying for a Warriors/Thunder season opener, or Christmas day game. That Western Finals between the two this past season was one of the best playoff battles of recent memory, and now with KD becoming the traitor, and the obvious tension between him and Russ...this will make for some superbowl style entertainment.

And if they happen to meet again in the playoffs that's just icing on the cake, although it would be tough to bet against the Warriors. It would take a super Westbrook and similar defense and aggression like they played with this past year.

Star Trek Beyond was freaking awesome 10/10.

So much fun. Easily my best watch of 2016 and there have been some good ones(10 clover field lane)

Dude go see Suicide Squad it will knock your socks off for sure, and probably be your new fav. Super fun movie.

Ps I also really enjoyed 10 Clover Field lane despite it kind of flying under the radar. No one will know the theatre experience when the guy gets shot and killed, that was kind of a life changer for me, it was super loud and made everyone in the theatre jump and or scream lol.

  10. Just saw Suicide Squad in theatres and it was IMO hands down the best flick of the summer. I saw Batman V Superman, and Captain America Civil War and I'm typically a Marvel Studios guy, but mannnn oh man Suicide Squad was absolutely EPIC. It was different in so many ways, extremely dark and sketchy, but all wrapped in such a crazy funny upside down twisted vibe to it. Simple yet absolutely eppppic character back stories, and some awesome campus although no spoilers here. Will Smith kills it, and all the other actors are great. And the soundtrack is off the charts, they literally had every perfect song for every perfect scenario.

And in a wierd way I think the suicide squad is more interesting than the justice league movie coming up just from a characters perspective. DC is definitely a little off with some of their movies but Suicide Squad was the best DC movie, and movie in general ive seen in a while.

    Everyone go experience it!

  11. Super duper bummed about Kaufusi's broken ankle...will we ever catch a break on these damn injuries? Smh, someone check the drinking water real quick lol

In all seriousness apparently he fell on another player and broke it in more of a freak accident scenario but what a blow to our D-line, and to a rookies vital first season.

Praying for no more injuries heading into the regular season.

  12. Russel Westbrook signs 3yr $85M extension to stay in OKC. In his statement he said he's glad to stay the with the team that drafted him and that he's played his entire career with.

Sooo beautiful, it's like he signed the contract just to call out KD for abandoning them, now Westy takes over as face of OKC, and should be a scary dominant force with KD out of town.

Yes. But this team is more gelled and possibly better. Oladipo has legit all star potential and isn't a bad player to potentially build a franchise around. Sabonis could be a good PF as well. Adams is more developed and Kanter has become better. This team is better. Not NBA finals caliber good but good enough.

I could see Oladipo or even shockingly enough Steven Adams as an All-star next year, I was absolutely stunned by Adams dominant aggressive play throughout that epic run last season. If he stays healthy he could have a huge impact. And Dipo has a ton of potential too...although I see Westbrook absolutely going off next year. Westbrook Adams and Oladipo should make for a solid poor man's big 3.

    Westbrook- 28ppg 8asst 7reb

    Oladipo- 21ppg

    Adams- 15ppg 11reb

    Didn't they miss playoffs?

Yea the Thunder missed the playoffs in 2014 by 1 loss got knocked out in favor of the Pelicans, but obviously they were without Durant all year,  and Steven Adams, Kanter, and Andre Roberson and pretty much everyone minus Westy was no where near their 2015-16 form.

Still with the loss of Durant I see  Victor Oladipo as scoring option B,  averaging 15-20+ppg which will sponge up atleast a portion of Durant's production, and I feel like OKC will still be a playoff contender next year. Billy Donovan should be able to put together a 40+ win team if not better.

  15. Haven't been on the boards in a long time and I know I'm quite late hooping on the NBA free agency talk...but after KD left OKC I feel like someone injected my veins with hater-aid. I lost every ounce of respect I had for Durant after he "Avengers Up" with the Warriors, if ya can't beat em join em style. I absolutely hate the new Marvel Team Up format the NBA is going with now a days, something needs to be done before things get out of han....oh wait Steph Curry, Klay Thompson, Draymond Green,  and now KD? Their starting lineup could pass for an all star squad minus a center. Plus they have decent depth with Livingston, David West, and Iguodala, all of which could probably make for effective starters on weaker eastern conference teams. SMH This might be the super team of all super teams.

KD should have signed a 2 year deal with OKC with a player option in yr 2 and gave OKC one more try, I feel like OKC could beat any team in the playoffs/finals with the lineup of Westbrook, Oladipo, KD, Kanter, and Steven Adams with solid options off the bench like Andre Roberson, Ilyasova, and rook Sonatas Sabonis. Add a point guard and bigman to that bench and Thunder could have been 50-60 game winners in the same situation they were in this past season but with upgrades.

But nooo, KD had to roll over and pull a Lebron and do whatever he could possibly do to win a title. Imagine if the NFL was like the NBA, OBJ, and Julio Jones joined the Steelers lol game over.

Im hoping for an OKC vs GS season opener, and for Russell Westbrook to drop 40pts , 12reb, 12asst beat the Warriors then after the game just stare down KD with the meanest ugliest stare until KD leaves the arena.

We saw what Westy could do without KD on a much younger/weaker OKC squad in 2014 where he was putting up Oscar Robinson numbers...human triple double and scoring leader, where Steph Robbed his MVP. Westy about to show out this season.

Fun fact that a lot of people may know. To decide on the "Ravens" nickname, the Modells approached the Baltimore Sun to host a telephone poll with naming options of: Ravens, Americans, Marauders, Mustangs, and Railers.

The Ravens won the poll by a very large margin with Marauders and Americans finishing second and third, respectively.

Later that year, the team unveiled it's colors and original jerseys and logos.

  17.  I feel like there won't be a whole lot of  statistical production from our rooks but alot of gritty impact players, and solid developmental players.

But my early nominee is Ronnie Stanley. This guy is one of the more intriguing top picks we have had in a while, and if he plays up to par he could anchor our O-line and be an impact player as a rook.

  18. Training camp is here hallelujah! Last season felt like the worst dream any football fan could ever endure, so many losses, so many injuries and the wound still lingers with the pup list full of some of our best players still healing up.

Thank God a new season is upon us, and hopefully our Ravens can stay healthy and get back to winning and get back to the playoffs

Eager to see how Kavell Conner mixes it up in camp, feel like he could be a solid rotational guy and a run D asset. He KC and Zach Orr should be a fun battle to watch for the ILB spot next to CJ.

Also want to see how our DBs do, alot of new faces and alot of question marks in the secondary.

And also I make a note every night to start my nightly prayers with asking the lord to bless Breshad Perriman with a full season of good health so we can finally see what our former 1st rder can do on the field. Hopefully he didn't lose his 4.3 wheels.

Happy training camp peeps, here's to a fun, healthy and successful 2016 Ravens season.
