  1. Mega Quote Post!

Love it. One of Scorsese's most underrated flicks. Dark.

I didn't know you felt so strongly about Tom Cruise. I bet you especially like him in scenes where he takes off his shirt.

Same. Some of his reviews were whack (mostly because they went against my opinion), but I loved some of the insight he provided to flicks. If checking reviews on IMDB, I usually start with Eberts. But boy, when he doesn't get a movie, he can flame it. (See his review on Lynch's Dune).

I am an epic fan of Lady in the Water. I think its underrated as well. I love the atmosphere the movie creates. I've always stuck up for M. Night (I just can't defend him for The Last Airbender)

Whatever works with the particular lady he's around. That seems to be his main motivation.

Only way I can convince a girl to go with me to the movies. ;)

I think he's a great actor. But he and Morgan Freeman will make that movie $$$$$$$$$$ even if it sucks

  2. The way I see it, the 49ers are going to look a lot like the 2010 Ravens when we had Mason and Boldin. They now have Crabtree and Boldin. Two receivers with identical skill sets. They can't gain separation and they don't have burner type speed. They're route running possession guys and they won't be able to benefit from each other like Boldin benefited from Torrey stretching the field. This isn't going to help Kaepernick at all because he simply doesn't deliver balls like Flacco can. He throws footballs on ropes and he won't be able to deliver them in a way for a guy like Boldin to go up and get them under tight coverage. And with that Seattle secondary mugging them in tight man-to-man coverage I don't foresee those two games fairing well for the niner offense.

    Agreed completely

  3. When are you not disgusted? Seriously, it's old. I love Boldin but he's an aging WR who couldn't get separation to save his life last season playing versus #2 CBs because Torrey commanded the #1 coverage. I wish he could have finished his contract here. It wasn't to be. Either they are going to pay Ellerbe more than he's worth or they have their eye on someone in FA. We'll know soon enough.

He thinks Doom and Gloom..... Just let him be. If we ignore him he will go away.

  4. We have 6 million more in cap space now, we were $12M under before Anquan's release. All I'm saying is we have enough cap to try to keep Kruger & Ellerbe over Reed or sign Ellerbe/Reed while using our 1st Round Pick in RFA on Victor Cruz. Or we sign Wes Welker. I'm trying to think of reasons to justify letting Boldin go for ONLY a 6th Round pick. That is what has me more mad.

    Greg Jennings.

    Book it

  5. This thread makes me sick. Not just because Anquan went to a team I dislike, but because of the attitudes around here. Way too much complaining. Wow. I can't believe I agree with Heath Evans right now.

Yeah, it sucks. Anquan's gone. Get over your denial. People have been saying this for months. We were criticized for it. I know I was. I didn't want Anquan gone, but he's gone. Nothing you can do but either continue to care or don't. Whatever. Ravens are still my football team.

You have the right to be upset, but really? 0-16? Losing season? Anquan was good but let's not kid ourselves here. Was he instrumental in us winning the big one? Yeah. Did he make critical plays throughout the playoffs and regular season to even get us here? Yeah. But come on. Stop complaining now. Denial, anger, bargaining, depression, acceptance. Work your way through these stages.

We aren't done. Heck, maybe we trade for Benn or something. We have a ton of young talent here. You have to see if they can play. Boldin was old and made a lot of money. He's awesome, but you must see what you have from your young guys. Sometimes you roll dice and you win and then sometimes you lose. Just keep rolling!

The 0-16 stuff was sarcasm on my part :P

But many SF fans are jumping for joy, bc they have "an elite WR"
