  1. that's nice. ill save my excitement for when he has a really good week of regular season game.
  2. surprised we're still playing monday night.
  3. Look in the mirror? dude, Bountygate is running your defense. close your mouth.
  4. theyre not "injury prone," you guys just panic and call them that the first time anything happens to them because you dont seem to understand that football is a violent sport and that there will always be injuries
  5. why would you draft a new starter at QB just because Flacco MIGHT finally miss a few games in the beginning of next season? that makes no sense.
  6. ... troll be gone. im not even gonna do you the disservice of entertaining the possibility that this was ever a serious post.
  7. none of these wins have been worth the price. Forsett, Smith Senior and Flacco: lost the only 3 valuable pices of offense all in a span of a few weeks...for a 3-7 record. smh
  8. when i said "receivers," i meant ANYbody that catches a ball, including tight ends. They have posluszny and tevon Smith, what's your point? Tight ends arent that hard to cover, thats why there arent that many of them on the field to begin with. you cant run an offense with all TEs. and can we please stop with all the cliche jock platitudes that NEVER made any sesne? why do people insist on talking like this? its ridiculous. playing not to lose and playing to win are the same thing. there's only two options here: win or lose. Not losing necessarily means that you win. There's a tie in the NFL once every other blue moon and that is STILL better than losing anyway, so can we just not skip down that road? burning the clock when you have a lead at the end of the game is common sense that actually works pretty well most of the time, which is why EVERY team in the league does it. Throwing the ball despite the fact that the receivers are the weakest part of your team, stopping the clock, and giving the other team time to beat you is a disaster every time.
  9. where's the complication? Doesnt really matter what Perriman is or isnt. Smith senior isnt hanging around for any longer than another season IF that, and none of our other receivers are worth much. Whether Perriman is the second coming of Jerry Rice or Mark Clayton, we need 2 or 3 more receivers anyway, draft em. and a safety. Shouldnt be hard, we have a good tight end group and a million Running backs.
  10. well yeah, duh. thats what everybody with no receivers wants to do.
  11. thats nonsense. we're cutting players cuz they're bad. Asa's had multiple coaches while in a Ravens uniform, yuo cant honestly think ALL of them were bad. Ross' issues in the return game are well documented before he got here and are the reason he isnt still a lion. Joe has no talent to work with. he also doesnt have 15 picks....not even close.
  12. no surprises here.
  13. ok. cant see what for but cool.
  14. bout time. little late though.
  15. why do people keep saying things like this as though there were some choice in the matter? these are things you say about good teams. This is not a good team.
  16. we dont have nearly enough receiver talent to milk a clock with an aerial attack, no sane person should be questioning anything that happened on that drive.
  17. didnt even notice that. but what else is new...
  18. no, all blame definitely does go to dumervil. Just stop. its the absolute last play of the game, make a good tackle or just get close and scare him, and its over. Doesnt matter what happened previously, all of it added up to a Ravens W as long as Dumervil doesnt screw up that play. and i dont know why everybody so shocked and upset about Kendrick Lewis dropping a pick, i told you when we signed him that he wasnt the guy you thought he was gonna be. He has no business playing center field.
  19. then you are truly delusional. and top 5 draft picks dramatically improve our chances of finding a real playmaker that can change a game or two once in a while. a top 5 draft pick is the difference between Kamar Aiken and Julio Jones. is it really that hard to figure out?
  20. well yeah you kinda of have to, you lost the game.
  21. The loss is absolutely Dumervil's fault. Normally id agree with you when people try to pin the game on one player because its usually impossible to draw the definitive conclusion that if this or that player hadnt done this or that thing, we wouldve won. There's no reasonable doubt here though. It was the LAST play of the game, no time on the clock which means no room for any other factors or circumstances about the game to change after Dumervil's play. this situation, for once, was simple. Dumervil makes one disciplined tackle and this game is a W. he fouled instead, and we lost. thats his fault. no getting around that.
  22. the draft is part of the offseason. and its not all just top draft picks. Hurns didnt get drafted at all. Covlin and Smith are 4th and 5th round picks respectively. Bortles is the only first round guy of import on their starting line ups, and he's not spectacular at all. All of their most important playmakers are second round or later picks IF they got drafted at all.
  23. Game Recap: the 2015 ravens are still garbage.
  24. we are a bad team that is all. really aint nothing else to discuss here. no part of this team is good enough.
  25. I dont "interpret" things, i take everything i read at face value. Your comments being appropriate doesn't make them all warranted or necessary. you cast aspersion on him at every turn while combating any notions that there's anything good about him at all. You're attempting to rewrite his whole life within the very limited frame of this incident and refuse to consider his character as a whole. When you speak of him, you set up a false dichotomy wherein he must be cast either as a good person or a monster when the truth is that the content of anyone's character exists on a spectrum. you attack the character of anyone who dares view him in a different light with passive aggressive insinuations and accuse them of making excuses for him when most are doing no such thing. its nice you "wish Ray the best," but you throw dirt on his name the whole time so those wishes seem less than sincere, more like impression management for yourself. A begrudged and obligatory olive branch because that's the kind of thing people expect you to say even though all you really wanna do is make him stand trial for this incident and others that never happened, for the rest of his life. would there be a next time if he wasnt caught on tape? seriously? people who exhibit spousal abuse as a normative pattern of behavior typically arent dumb enough to get caught on tape in the first place. You arent even being rational. we already get domestic violence is wrong. that's a statement of the obvious, what ELSE is your point? and are you seriously incapable of getting it across without attacking Ray's character and continually casting doubt on him when others are accepting his humility and remorse, forgiving, and trying to let him move forward? Why do you need to do that?
