honestly the QB's salary in the NFL have overbloated, they should lower it to $10-15 mil with incentives, it's crazy that player takes nice chunk of your salary cap.

he was underutillized as much as the running game too.

ravens don't usually go crazy in FA, they usually wait for cuts and start scooping up players, Donta and ryan going to cost a lot, not seeing the ravens doing that. i can see them go after garcon, mangold, or even marshall if released.
the only way we start improving is if we keep some of our own underrated players, like guy, and aiken, etc...

change of scenery , motivation, going to a stable organization. what u said is exactly what was said about other similar players we signed before like SSS, BOLDIN, mason, rolle,

lol, i know, but coaches have to coach up those talent too, so coaching in Bmore has not been 100.
i think mangold, garcon gonna be ravens.
wasn't elam switched? KC is another example. i think art brown was another too. waller has been playing decent in limited snaps.
the last 2 draft have been nice so far, u have to give KC a little more time, because our coaching staff stinks, they keep switching players to other positions instead of letting players master their original position and then ease to other positions they think will work.
i dont know why some ppl bashing ozzie, but the issue is we can't keep our own FAs, because we can't compete for them in FA, we draft well, we just can't keep them after their rookie deals are up, another issue is our coaches are not that great in developing and using players to their strengths.
honestly we do better in later rounds like 4-5th rnds than 2nd and 3rd rnds, we might as well trade our 2nd rnd and 3rd rnd for 4th picks.
this is it for elam, he might have ended his football career, the guys is terrible and can't tackle. so ...

- Kyle Arrington - This one is obvious. He might retire due to injury anyways.
- Elvis Dumervil - I'm of the opinion that we should just move on. I think we should be making a full effort to get younger and I'd rather see the young guys out there learning. I think Dumervil still has a little left in the tank but it's not worth delaying development.
- Kendrick Lewis - Lewis hardly played last year, and lost out on snaps to pretty much every other S. He could stay solely because of the complete lack of depth, but I still consider that a very, very small possibility.
- Dennis Pitta - It has to happen. We've invested quite a bit into our younger players. Let's live and die by them.
- Mike Wallace - The one veteran I'm absolutely sure we should keep. We need something out there and his cap hit is not bad at all for what he can do for us.
- Ben Watson - Ditto what I said about Pitta.
- Lardarius Webb - I'd hold onto him for now and see if we can get younger at some point over the offseason.
- Shareece Wright - The owner called him out by name. That's never good.
- Jeremy Zuttah - The FO repeatedly said they want to get bigger and stronger and it looks like that was about Zuttah. I still think he's solid and I wouldn't mind holding onto him, but I'd guess he's gone.
ok,
i would target juju in 2nd rnd maybe.
honestly, these WRs are tempting at 16, but i think we need to keep this squad intact as possible, so bringing key & underrated players like GUY & AIKEN are critical, one can easly say we can replace them, but u can't replace chemistry within a team.
our coaches are the biggest issue, no matter what players u bring in. just look at last season, with all the issues we had we still could've made the playoffs, have we ran the ball more during the season, heck we even almost lost the philly game b/c we didn't run the ball. how pathetic HC can be coming out saying we need to run the ball, and totally abandon it on game days.
SO If we lose wagner and williams we get 2 3rd rnd picks?
webb, wallace, pitta, maybe even flacco might have to restructure their contracts. pitta might have to take a paycut, his blocking is horrendious , and it might end flaccos season if he continues blocking like that. and it seems flacco always looks for pitta on every play instead of going thru his progressions.
Garcon is a good fit here in Bmore, he's a boldin clone,
who knows what ozzie is cooking right now. ravens to do list:
3 hours ago, TheRavengers said:I'd prefer to keep both but if that's the case then we've got no less than 3 guys who can easily fill in for Williams if he's gone.
exactly, pierce, willie, and davis can rotate and try to replace williams. wagner's loss would be huge b/c we have had OL issues all last season, so i would have him as the #1 priority, we need to stop this turnover at the OL position, it kills the offense, run game, passing game.
we're more likely to sign WAGNER than WILLIAMS,
i dont see webb and wallace getting cut, maybe restructured or extension, but no way we cut them, i see :
doom cut- b/c judon is taking his spot, cheaper, younger, and he was productive his rookie year.
kendrick is long overdue to b cut
arrington- cut
zuttah- we need more size and less penalties
wright - is good as gone, his replacement can't do any worse.
with the needs we have, i highly doubt that ozzie will pick a RB in 1st rnd, it will be tempting to pass on a players like WR williams or Davis, but we need help at OL, Pass rush, CBs positions, more than any other position, the more QBs get picked head of us the better chances we pick a plug n play player.
Williams is replaceable, pierce showed he can pressure up the middle, Williams is limited when comes to pass-rushing, run D on the other hand Williams excels, davis or that michigen U guy needs to step up.
