nfl.com reporting kubiak is the new OC
they gonna have to go with shanhan, he's better than hostler.
i hope he's back and retires a raven, this guy always gives a spark when we need it.
Well I think we're both talking about the improvement of Joe as a QB, and Kubiak has a track record - it's not his fault at all that Shaub seems to consistently throw redzone INTs when the game's on the line. And as a QB coach/OC he lead Steve Young to what's considered the greatest QB performance in Superbowl history and John Elway, noted for his failures in clutch Superbowl situations in the 80s, to a great performance against Atlanta in his last Superbowl.
i would rather have an offense that can takes to a SB, than a QB that throws for 4k yards every year and never makes to the playoffs or SB. aka matt ryan...
He sent Matt Shaub to the pro-bowl twice and had him lead the league in passing yards one year, so I'd say it worked VERY well. Shaub is extremely limited physically, but aside from this year he played very well under Kubiak.
no, im talking about a SB, people dont care about pro bowl
Did you see Kubiak's "predictable" offense win three Superbowls in Denver? I didn't because I was barely born, but you might have.
how come it didn't work in houston with a loaded roster?
kubiak's offense is too predictable, did u c texans offense= run right, bootleg run, bootleg pass--> Int.
Ken Whisenhunt
Joe Lombardi
Rob Chudzinski
No to Kubiak and Turner--too similar to Cam and we need to move away from that.
Though between those 2, I prefer Turner.
Not sure about Kyle Shanahan, seems like a bit of a wild card. but I'd like to see some innovation and I believe he would bring that. But I think Harbs prefers older, more established coaches (guys who are "lifers").
If Hue Jackson wasn't such a d-bag (reportedly) then I think he'd make a fine choice.

This isn't a "who do you want us to get thread"? Rather a what kind of WR do you think WR should get?
WR is a huge need(duh). But what kind? Some will say possession WR(Boldin esq dude. Matthews, Nicks) Others will say big body WR. (Cooper, Benjamin, Evans, Barden), some will say playmaker(Lee, Watkins, Beckham).
Me? Well what do Manning, Brees, Rodgers, and Brady all have in common.
They have a tough slot WR that will go over the middle and take a hit, but still have the chance to make a big play afterwards.
I think we are missing a little quickie slot WR, and it's obvious Marlon can't be that.
I may have us getting Beckham Jr, but I'm also an advocate for us getting a Hawkins, a Brandin Cooks. A little out WR.
we have couple speedsters in torry & deonte, JJ. we need a Q clone besides brown.
from what i heard about Kubiak is he's stubborn as a mule when it comes to in-game adjustments, so no, we dont need another stubborn coach here, i thought Hue Jackson did a good job when he was here. we need to bring him back. or someone like Rob Chudzinski who knows how to fix an offense. that would b sweet vs brownies.
JJ is streetballer, he's essential to 2 units , he is a deep threat , influences field position for the offense & he's a threat to score on ST.
