where do you see this?
i was referring to when we cut him after his fumbles,
DEFENSE!!!!!!!!
Coaches- Asa Jackson getting cut? What are you seeing out there guys?
He is solid on special teams and he gives depth at corner,
How about starting all cuts in the receiver department. Those guys can be rolled in and out until you find a good fit.
We are still shopping at the dollar tree I see. For the love of goodness please get this offense some play-makers.
I'm tired of hearing the excuses and complaints for this lackluster unit.
Welcome Morgan!
I'm glad you weren't -V Jack, Roddy White or any other big name guy out there. These guys are slow and injury prone. We can do better by being patient.
Because Monroe can't stay healthy.
Good point! I'd be okay with us dropping them both next season.
At this point, I'd be okay with giving the PS OT we called up a chance to start. He probably isn't going to do any worse.
I have to agree. Hurst has been terrible.
Hurst-------Why is he even on this team?
Why do i feel like we are running an offense geared for Alex Smith with Joe flacco at the helm? We still lack play makers in all three phases.
Well played at the Qb position today though. Must be nice to be back at the bank.

Sort by team.
Not surprisingly, Aiken only catches 50% of his targets, and Brown is even worse at 46%.
SSS and Gillmore have caught 62% and 69% of their targets.
At any rate, while SSS gets the most targets for good reason, CLEARLY Flacco spreads it out, and very evenly at that. Only the Saints have more players with 20 or more targets than we do.
So let's nip this in the bud before people find a new reason to criticise the guy
fair enough
SSS - 9
Aiken - 3
Givens - 2
Brown - 5
Gilmore - 7
Ross - 1
Outside of Gilmore, that is your WR group. Ross & Allen got 1 each as well. Boyle too.
That is pretty much spreading the ball around.
Are you talking about today's game bud?
Um. Okay
Spreading the ball out = Multiple players, running multiple routes, Catching multiple passes. ![]()
Not his fault Smith is the only one who catches it. But to say he doesn't spread the ball is completely inaccurate. You don't hit TEN different receivers by not spreading the ball out. We saw that yet again before Smith got hurt today.
Flynismo you can hit ten different receivers one pass a piece and i still wouldn't call that spreading the ball out.
Just because you are rotating guys in and out and hitting 10 different receivers on five yard screens your still not spreading the ball out.
Joe actually played well today.
He spread the ball out pretty decently.
This is what i expect every week.
???
He completed a pass to TEN different receivers last week. That is not out of the norm, either.
How many to Steve Smith?
He's also given the Ravens leads in games that the defense blew (like against the Bengals, Browns, and Raiders), and that's with the worst receiving core in the league. And if Aiken and Brown are two of you top weapons, it really does matter.
I agree.
The defense has to play a better brand of football.
But Joe and every other QB in the league practices with the same guys that they go into games with week in and week out.
The lack of weapons excuse might work if i didn't see Joe forcing it to Steve Smith when another player is wide open.
This is actually more on Flacco then his receivers.
Hypothetically- If I played defense, Joe would be one of the guys I would love to play (this year), because he doesn't spread the ball out enough.
Harbaugh's seat is not even warm.
I will say this though, there are to many likable guys on this team.
I don't know if that's the culture he wants around the castle or not. If so (he is the problem).
By likable I really mean soft.
Harbaugh and company, (Ozzie, Decosta, Biscotti) all of them. Have put together one of the worst rosters I have ever seen.
This has to be the my least favorite Ravens team of all time.
Skill position coaching (especially the db's) is terrible.
They look like they all have regressed.
We need a major overhaul but it doesn't start with Harbaugh.
No matter how we sugar coat this. Flacco has not been very good this season. We can call it lack of trust in his lack of weapons. Or we can jazz it up a bit and say its because he has no O-line, Defense, No skill position players, new OC, etc.....
What this doesn't say is that his mechanics are way off and he is not seeing the field at all. Joe has lost his team multiple games this season turning the ball over. It really doesn't matter what weapons are at your disposal if you don't know how to use them.
Locking in on one receiver as a QB, is High School football.
The under- throws and over- throws are getting tiresome. The lack of pocket awareness has been old since hairball.
Overall guys Flacco lacks just about all the outstanding qualities of a good QB. Other than a big arm.
I get that, but I don't think those guys would be as successful on other teams was part of my point. I'm not trying to take away from Edelman by saying it either, but I think the level of success is due to everything around. An example of this is Julius Thomas. I know he's barely played for the Jags, but even when he was on the Panthers(I think), did he have the level of success he did with Manning?
My point is, after Gronk and Edelman, their skill players aren't as good as people may think. Another example of this is Blount.
SMH bruh!!!!!
