  1. Yup i was wrong my Bad <EASY
  2. Walk of pick to end the best year of his career. My bad guys, nice catch, I was referring to the year prior. See how easy I admit, I was wrong. Now if only others could do the same.
  3. The defense played their last three games well. We won two and Schaub being Shaub throws the pick six today that was deflected so only half the blame goes to Shaub. We are in position to win and Tucker missed again. Cleveland just has a look of a QB that they want instead of drafting the best available guy suited to run there offense. Dalton is playing to win games instead of stats. He is leaning on his defense and making good decisions. That's what we need from Flacco. We can say the defense has been horrible all year but they came together last game and got us that W. Now the offense needs to step up and make plays. But we have been saying this all year as well.
  4. It's not just his contract but him in general. He's on back to back down seasons and he needs lots of help. Our current roster might not be able to sustain his inflated contract and lack of weapons in the foreseeable future. We are drafting TE's and other guys that don't fit what we would expect for a big ARM pocket passing QB. You need lots of good tight ends when you want to throw the intermediate routes effectively. I might agree with you on the OZZIE thing if he didn't hit on the DT position and linebacker position so hard. Brandon Williams and Mosley have great upside and are beast right now.
  5. Deion Branch did it if you want to know. I pulled that off the top of my head. Should I look for more?
  6. Deion Branch<<<<<<<<<<< I rest my case. Laughing and wrong........SMH
  7. On that list????
  8. Just cause they got traded to a bad team in turmoil doesn't mean they want to play here.
  9. I'm not really concerned about whether this is the place to speak realistically about our 120 million dollar Qb that is clearly under performing. Cam with Rushing stats just proves he's a well rounded Qb that takes what the defense gives him. Joe has the same opportunities to run (he can run) he chooses not to. If it's all about wins and losses then the Panthers are setting the tone with their running QB that has elected to manage the game then to put up gaudy numbers. I hate on everyone that can be replaced. He should have been replaced by TYROD in all honesty. With Taylor's contract we would have been able to rebuild the trenches and get receiver help.
  10. Proof----------No one has!!!!!!
  11. Interesting, the next year we lost Boldin. Cause he could do it without him? 19TDS 22 picks. I know the line was hurt, the running game was not there. Flacco needs major help. To much for a huge contract. <<<<<<<<<<< This being my point. Nobody who ever left here as a receiver would want to come back just to play with Flacco. If that was the case, they would have taken less to play with him, especially after winning a superbowl.
  12. You can manage without a true number one when you have a guy like Boldin that catches as well as any receiver I've seen play. You can absolutely manage without a big name receiver as well. http://espn.go.com/nfl/statistics/player/_/stat/receiving/sort/receivingYards/year/2015/seasontype/2 Here is a list of the receivers leading in receiving. There are two names in the top ten you wouldn't associate with be a true one. The top 20 is even more interesting. Also solidifies my point in not needing a true one. The QB's that are throwing to some of these guys are still on rookie contracts. So new team, new coordinator.....etc The excuses for Flacco's play are all but over. Greg olsen is outplaying our number one receiver. SMH Poor QB play? Drive killing turnovers? Over and Under throws? Receivers dropping every pass?
  13. The only problem i have with these kinds of post are You make claims that the things we post about him are crap right?- I posted facts! Your making excuses about the weapons he has available. - All of these guys play in the NFL. I can make a case that there are other starting QB's in this league that have worst receivers then ours (CAROLINA). You are making statements about game winning drives. I can think of 1 game off the top of my head this season he gave away. (DENVER) and the San Francisco (depend on how you look at it). Perfect ball placement- This i might be able to consider giving the fact that Marlon Brown is still on this team and was ever named a starter in any package. (SMH) The part of your post i highlighted is why he is no longer absolved from any wrongdoing. He is still making Boneheaded decisions with the football in his eighth season. Flacco has had a hand full of games that he has carried this team. He is not carrying the team in no way, shape or form for the most part. This being the main reason he is not worth his contract. Let's draft a rookie QB and teach him how to manage a game. Give him a strong line. A beast running back. Work off the playaction. Get in the playoffs. And see where that takes us.
  14. Its funny but so does Joe. Coming in to this week and he didn't even play last week. An int a week is not that big of a deal if on the other side you are countering with scores of your own. It's just he doesn't score the football enough to average a pick a game. He only has 14 tds to 12 picks. With two fumbles. so he is literally a 50/50 guy.
  15. Yes Fly i do believe Flacco is a slightly above average QB....... So do you...... You are just having a hard time admitting it. You know what i find funny? People that argue for him use other QB's to try to drive their point home. If you guys wanna debate Flacco how about not using the Superbowl run and talk to me about his pocket mechanics, His over and under throws, turnovers, and how he just looks lost all together at times on the football field in his eighth season.
  16. Not sure what you mean here, they are both the same thing.
  17. I watched his career he definitely was slightly above average. Just like Joe, just to keep it on topic
  18. So do you know someone that has thrown 3/4 of a pick or fumbled 3/4 of a ball away? SMH,,,,,,,lol
  19. I'm talking about the guys that defend him as to say we don't need another QB in the mix. He's never had a good receiving core? Boldin & Torrey & Pitta & Rice? (Healthy with tread on the tires) Most teams would die to have that lineup.
  20. Good catch, i thought he got a new deal this year. Ill eat that,
  21. Special teams and a QB that had a great run. One great run doesn't make you a great QB. Ask dilfer with his 153 yards and 1 score. He was asked not to lose the game. Much like we asked Flacco for most of his career here.
  22. Troy aikman was slightly above mediocre. He just played on a really good team. Reminds me of Joe.
  23. Cherry picked? When did i say he averages 19 int's a season? I believe you are mistaken the 19 ints for the 19 turnovers. 12.75ints and 6 fumbles equal 19 turnovers. I don't think they are cherry picked stats, facts are facts.
  24. First off, this was clever. Let me clarify. Every QB in the Nfl (that starts) is throwing for more than 230 yards a game that is not named CAM NEWTON (who doesn't have to because he relies on his stellar defense and manages the game well. The other QB being Ryan Fitzpatrick. (who just lost the starting gig- i think). Player that fits the bill. Kirk Cousins - Not on Rookie contract and is putting up these kind of numbers. also not making 15 mil Everyone else would be projects. That is what i'm talking about take a chance on a project guy. Lord knows we are still seeing growing pains in our eight year starter
  25. We have already seen this done multiple times in the past. Once right here in Baltimore. Big Ben's first Bowl Mark Rypien Russell Wilson(might be an exception) Phil Simms Troy Aikman Jim Mcmahon Brad Johnson Eli-(might make this list) The all had good teams and marginal QB's. So does the truth about Flacco seem more realistic?
