  1. I would think that most of us did things in our teens and early 20s, that we kind of laugh at now. Or at least grin about. The F.O. and Coaches sat down with Tim Williams and so they know the deal. Ozzie has assuredly talked with Nick Saban. Being considered a choirboy, doesn't mean that ones are without faults. Just means that you can sing, halfway decent. Let's give the kid a chance, as we have given other Players chances. He can definitely Rush the Passer and help to stop an Offense.
  2. I would think that there are a number of 'can't miss' Players to choose, should we stay at #16. Rueben Foster at LB.....Mike Williams at WR.......Marshon Lattimore at CB .......Christian McCaffrey at RB/RS/WR and Derek Barnett at DE. Now, Foster is reported having a Diluted Urine Sample from the NFL Combine. Could be a major stumbling block, depending upon the circumstances. If we select at #16....we are going to be Drafting a Difference Maker, with the available talent. Could be Offense like Corey Davis or John Ross. Could be a solid DE like Taco Charlton or Takkarist McKinley. We won't see Solomon Thomas or Fournette available at that Pick. There are 2 really good Safeties but I doubt they'd be picked, unless the F.O. had no choice except to take them. Then a Trade Back could be the answer, as well. Both Adams and Hooker should be gone by at least #8. Wild Card Picks......Jabrill Peppers and Cam Robinson. Peppers is Multi-Dimensional and Robinson could be moved to RT or LG. Giving us bookend monsters on the Left-Side and move Alex Lewis to RT. Just a thought...... There are a lot of talented Players that can be had with those 4 Picks in the top 78.
  3. With the Trading of Jernigan, to move from #99 to #78 ? This signals (A)..... that they have a deal in place to move up , or back. (B) That they have identified 4 very good Players ,within their Board of top 80 Players, whom they believe can be 'difference makers' .
  4. I'm with that 100%. I truly do believe 100% that there will be multiple players going in round 3 that would go in round one in most drafts I'm on that bandwagon. This is a deep Draft for talent. The 2 Positions without 'stars' are QB and OL, but there are very good Players to find in the first 3 Rounds.....and beyond.
  5. I totally agree. Rueben Foster is darn near like a Ray Lewis type of LB. We all know how his career ended ! I think he is gone by #6 or #7....if teams stay put.
  6. I would like to see a DE (Barnett) or WRs (Corey Davis or Mike Williams) as the # 16 Pick. Which is preferable ? Taco Charlton , Jabrill Peppers and Haason Reddick would make our Defense better, as well ! Hard to say about those 2 WRs because both could be game changing Offensive talents . Davis is the 'better' Upside . John Ross is a talent . Also, it is quite possible that both Davis and Williams are gone within the first 10 - 12 Picks. There are also some other WRs that can be had in the 2nd Round . Smith-Schuster and many more who are good WRs. Then you have some dynamite Playmakers like Samuel (Ohio St.) and Adoree Jackson (USC) so there are really good Players to be chosen, in the first 3 or 4 Rounds..
  7. Put K.C. next to Mosely and watch him produce. The Coaches threw too much at him last year. The truth to that fact was Correa telling us all that the NFL is totally different than college. He understood that his teammates were definitely much better than his college competitors. Put him back to an ILB and let him get comfortable with the NFL Game. He is a very talented Football Player. Let him do..... what he is used to doing. Being a 'tackling machine' .
  8. Jerry Rice didn't deliver on the Big Stage. I agree that Williams delivered, but he also delivered with one of the Top 2 QBs in this Draft Class. I truly believe that Davis is the Gem of these WRs. I would not turn Williams away, however......lol He's a great Possession and Red Zone WR, to have in your Line-Up.
  9. We are going to see the importance of trading Jernigan with having Picks 74 and 78. They can use them as 'Moving Up' leverage, for one scenario. I think they keep those Picks and grab either 2 good O-Linemen or maybe sneak Sidney Jones in, if he is still available. I'd be satisfied with Corey Davis, Mike Williams , Derek Barnett ,Taco Charlton or Haasan Reddick with #16. It's possible that none of those 5 are still available at #16. Would they then go for an OL..... like Ryan Ramczyk or Garett Bolles ? That is where that 78th Pick can come in to play . And if they Pick where they are ? They are still looking at getting 4 quality Players.
  10. If Corey Davis is still available at Pick # 16 ? I would be running the Draft Pick Card, with his name on it....... up to the table !
  11. Looks like Tony Jefferson will be switching his Jersey Number ! I suggest # 25 .
  12. Solidifies the Secondary and Webb is a very versatile Player. If the D-Line and OLBs can pressure the QBs and start actually getting Sacks again ? The DBs won't be trying to run after WRs all day long !
  13. Remember that Sherman is owed about $23M over the next 2 Seasons. I think that it is a ploy by the Seahawks FO to reel him in a bit. Some one will have to either shell out some serious $$$s or get Sherman to renegotiate .The Seahawks would want some high Picks for him. We couldn't afford that and there are some decent DBs available in this Draft . Never say never......but Sherman coming here is very unlikely. I could see N.E. trying to get him for Darius Butler , in aTrade.
  14. I would rate this as a very crafty and smart move, by Ozzie & Co. They now have 4 Selections, within the top 80 Picks Still have some very good and young talent on the D-Line !
  15. Marshall is a Giant now and not sure about Garcon's wants. Played for both of the new Rams and 49ers HCs. Garcon would be a solid addition, no doubt and he has been a consistent performer. Of course, Kamar Aiken has shown he is more than capable of being a #1 Possession WR. He took a back seat to Steve Smith Sr. and Wallace and a healthy Pitta. He may want to go some where that he sees more passes thrown in his direction. Just have to see what happens. I would think we are going to lose Wagner, Williams and Juszczyk . I'd like to see them restructure Mike Wallace on a 3 or 4 Year Deal. His problematic times in Minnesota and Miami were from weak armed QBs and underachieving teams. I thought he played his part very well, last Season. With only about $10M in Cap Space ? We will probably see a half dozen or so older Defensive players with hefty contracts , either restructure or be allowed to move on. Not a heckuva lot of Big Fish for us to reel in, with little bait on board. The Browns have just over $100M to spend........and a couple of handful of other teams have nice coffers to empty.
