  1. One question - did Sanu even catch a pass in the game? I know AJ Green and Marvin Jones showed up to play but what is this clown doing running his mouth?
  2. I really feel like it actually was a cover 3 look like Harbaugh had mentioned in his PC. They had 2 deep routes on that side of the field and Hill and Smith were late to converge. Hill was caught staring down the front side and stopped moving his feet. Even when the pass was thrown to Green he didn't break on it like he normally does. The way Kendrick Lewis reacted to a streak route indicated to me that he was NOT in straight man cover even if our defensive alignment at the snap looked like we were.
  3. 2013 all over again. But we already blamed that on Rice and Pierce?? It is overly predictable playcalling IMO. Forsett is nothing special and our line has been playing poorly in all 3 games this season. It didn't help that Joe was off his game until well into the 3rd quarter.
  4. I do, and was yelling pretty loud at the TV when it happened live. After a decade or so of Ravens games I've given up hope on getting judgement calls going in our favor, just the way it is if you want to root purple & black.
  5. Nice to see they threw Melvin right back into the starting lineup so he could pick up where he left off in the AFC divisional - getting ROASTED. Jimmy Smith and the almighty Will Hill looked bad today as well, time to make some changes to our game plans. Justin Forsett was also a dumpster fire today, our running game is awful as a whole. Having a hard time finding any positives outside of Steve Smith, Brandon Williams and 2 defensive plays. Where was the great Timmy Jernigan???
  6. Exactly. Every corner looks bad when he has to cover for 6+ seconds. We need some pressure up front!
  7. Let's try to remember that this was hand timed which is always substantially better than electronic timing. Taylor Mays also ran a hand timed 4.24 before the official timing came out. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JdPmexUhjWk
  8. Well wrong on both right there chief. The only thing the judge said was that the league acted outside of what they were allowed to do within the CBA. Not fully cooperating ala Brett Favre dic pic investigation only received a fine. San Diego Chargers equipment violation also only received a fine. Anyways... Pumped that Jernigan is practicing again cause we need him out there this year, along with Perriman!
  9. Flacco would have zero without Boldin
  10. KO's career is on the rise, at 31 - Yanda is on the backside of his career. He is still a great player at this point, but giving him a large longterm deal probably isn't in the teams best interest.
  11. He's a 5 year veteran who turns 27 on June 16th
  12. If I were to put money on his appeal, I would bet his suspension becomes 2 games at the very most, especially after Kraft announced they won't appeal the fine and loss of picks. It just seems like some backroom deal was made right then between Kraft and Goodel(who is hearing the Brady appeal)
  13. good depth signing, good for camp competition at worst.
  14. Camp can't get off the bench without pulling a muscle. Time to give that Carter kid a shot.
  15. I would have to agree, I think he runs way too high and is lousy at short yardage. I have high hopes for Buck Allen.
  16. lol fair enough..
  17. How about some NFL production before we start with this nonsense...
  18. No wonder he could set an edge, I didn't realize he played defensive TACKLE in college! Congrats on a great career to this guy, was a great leader and always did his job.
  19. Pats just cut Dennard, prob an upgrade over most of our reserves
  20. Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada! Started watching more NFL in junior high after only watching CFL as a kid. I was immediately drawn to the gritty defensive style of the RAVENS!!
  21. Frederick had a 3rd round grade from Mike Mayock and turned out to be a great pick at the end of the 1st round even though it was a "reach" at the time according to almost all the pundits. I really don't think anyone can say there isn't a quality center in this draft class at this point, there are so many quality players at high-profile positions that alot of really solid players may be overlooked.
  22. The GM that gave that contract was also fired shortly after. He also did ill advised top of the market contracts to Deangelo Williams and Charles Johnson that year if I recall correctly which now have the Panthers in cap jail. I'm not even sure Nick Mangold got that much money, and he's the best C in the game IMO. I wouldn't be surprised if Mack is more in the 7M/year range, which is still out of our price range to get back to your original point. Mack was more of a dream as far as our team was concerned but I'm more than happy with the acquisition of Zuttah.
  23. Where did you get the impression that Alex Mack will get 10M per season?
  24. It's hilarious to me that you think he was put on the block for "every single team". Harbaugh and the FO traded him to brother Harbaugh as a favor and also to protect themselves from payback. If he was cut(like they were threatening) then he would likely have gone somewhere in spite like New england or Pittsburgh. It's very stupid to think that rivals of the Ravens had any real chance to trade for him.
