  1. I feel like I should mention the Lee Evans debacle from 2011. We trade for a promising wideout only to have him injure his ankle early and then be inactive for the majority of the season. Everybody's body heals differently. While it's beyond frustrating there is no doubt in my mind that he'll return as soon as he's able. I'm sure he wants to be out there as much as all of us. What I'm concerned about is his future... If it takes this long for him to recover from a sprain then I can't help but worry about his recovery time for possible injuries down the road in his career. I'd be lying if I said I wasn't concerned about his long-term durability.
  2. The ugliest win I've ever seen.
  3. I don't know how I'm supposed to feel right now...
  4. I name kentucky bourbon the MVP of this game. I don't want to feel anymore.
  5. I saw this coming... What I don't understand is that the reports were that there wasn't any damage to the knee. So what on earth did they do surgery on?
  6. ....sigh.
  7. Just saw he re-aggravated it trying to run in warm ups....
  8. You have to include bargaining in there somewhere! "We need to trade for x player to replace y player."
  9. With the proper scheme he could make an impact. James Harrison is still doing damage for our division rivals....
  10. What I know from the previous tear is that he healed in an insanely short period of time. Doctors said he's now the new benchmark for recovering from that type of injury. However.... I've gotten vibes that some people are skeptical that he did it without the use of drugs to help speed the healing process. What I do know is that his body is that much older now.
  11. The first tear was on his right leg. The one he tore Sunday was on his left leg.
  12. I'm extremely excited for this guy. Great hands and catch radius. Big-bodied and physical down the middle target. Good physical blocker. Has an insane family lineage of athletes to boot. He'll be great for this team and system.
  13. I believe the reason we took him was that he's a prototype receiver for Trestman's system.
  14. You're exactly right. Big bodied and fast are what is needed in Trestman's system. Perriman fits the bill.

  16. He was ranked at 14-15 on our big board. That's pretty darn high.
  17. At this point anybody is better than our current option in Gino. I'll hold any excitement till I see him with the other 4 on the line but I'm optimistic.
  18. The Dez pick wasn't his fault. They wanted Dez bad but Dallas swooped in to take him before us. And I think Hostler being gone will do good things... that guy wasn't good at his job IMHO.
  19. Tommy Streeter concurs.
  20. I've been watching this free agency from a distance but I'd like to say that Steve Smith is a classic Ozzie pickup if it does occur. 1. Right player right time. We need a go-to slot and move the chains type guy. His physical style also has play like a Raven written all over it. 2. At his age and declined production he should be affordable. 3. We replace the veteran presence in the WR corp that we lost with Boldin's departure. 4. Most noteworthy in my eyes is that Smith was CUT by Caroline which means Ozzie won't lose one of his coveted compensatory draft picks.
  21. With a track record like that why on earth does he still have a job? Because of his dad?
  22. The slap in the face tirade was entertaining. It's also true. Kubs saw what Cleveland had and then promptly came here lol And now their best hope is a guy that is essentially our leftovers.
  23. Poor Cleveland.
