st off alot of stuff went uncalled because the line judge went down so they took one of the back judges away from deep and brought him down, so as the former ref said, it would have an impact on the passing game, just like they could have called PI on the last pick, they could have called PI on Jimmy's pick-6.
nd, where we will miss suggs is his ability to set the edges on runs, he didn't record not one stat yesterday but he forced alot of runs back inside, or strung them out to the sideline. I pray this isnt the end for him.
rd, Trestman has to do a better job at adjusting to the pressure. Why would he not keep a TE and/or a RB in to help with protection, well he started to do that on the last drive. I just hate how, our offense starts to click when we are down under 2 min to go. maybe we need to go more no huddle to change up the pace. We really need to work on our screen game because we did not excute not one screen yesterday.
th, Where was Camp and Waller?? The weren't inactive but did not play much, i was almost sure that Waller was saved for the red zone but once we got down there he still wasn't in. Camp is our slot guy and e could have bailed us out on some blitzes they sent at flacco, we didn't seem to put our players in advantagoues matchups, very few motion plays to get free releases, no plays to get SSS or camp on a LB or S.
th, helluva game by our defense except for that 11 min drive in the 4th quarter, i know they were prolly gassed from the offense's inability to convert 3rd downs. is it me or does it look like Webb has horrible technique?? Anyways, Will Hill was flying around and if daryl smith catches that interception he had nothing but pay dirt, and it would have been a different game. That one play could have changed the outcome.
all in all, we will bounce back. ok im done
