  1. Does it even matter at this point what we do vs the Jets? The Ravens have had the easiest opening schedule in the history of this franchise and have managed a .500 record. Some people will point out we could be 5-1 or even 6-0, but we could also very, very easily be 0-6 right now. This team has been firmly mediocre going back to last season, so it's hard to be optimistic that we'll suddenly get good with the teeth of the schedule coming up soon. I'd feel a lot better about the team if we managed to lay real a hurting on the Jets, but that doesn't seem likely. If we win it'll probably be a 19-17 affair or something ugly like that.

A losing season and Harbaugh is gone .

Very poor decision making this this season has cost us two games .

    Should be 5-1 right now

He's made very questionable decisions in the last 3 games. Before today's game I felt like Harbaugh was teflon until the end of NEXT season, regardless of what happens this season. But I realized today that every decision Harbaugh makes from here on out will be put under a microscope, and every mistake he makes will be magnified. If we have another losing season, he could very well be gone imo.

  3. The lack of urgency on offense with a minute and change in the game and only 1 TO was infuriating. Why does this offense always look like they're moving through molasses? ALWAYS! I just can't comprehend why. Can someone please explain this to me? Seriously.

Also the mismanagement/wasting of TOs is another thing that seems to happen game in and game out, year in and year out. I'm getting so impatient with certain aspects of this team. These aren't things you can blame on injuries or talent. I just don't understand.

Some good news for the Ravens is the Bengals just lost. But we need to take care of our own business on the field so we dont have to hope for other teams to lose.

The amount of good in that good news seems pretty minimal at this point. Unless something drastic happens, the first 3 weeks may have actually been the far and away highlight of the season.

Ravens win on Sunday, no problem.  A complete game on both sides of the ball is projected.  Take a breath, good things will happen on Sunday in Baltimore.

I'm not calling you out because I thought the same exact thing (after all, we were playing the Redskins), but pretty much every part of that statement turned out to be wrong.

  6. If you give Flacco Derek Carr's OL, Ravens would probably be a very solid 5-0. If the Ravens committed more to the run, if for no other reason than to open up the play action, Ravens would probably be a very solid 5-0. If Flacco's receivers beyond just SSS and Wallace made plays for him (a luxury literally every other QB we've faced this year has had), Ravens would probably be 5-0.

I've seen games where Rodgers struggled a lot because of poor pass protection. Same with Brady. Flacco is far from perfect, but you can't put it all on the QB when your OL is in shambles week after week.

His anger at being asked about it is astounding.

47 throws...210 yards and the run game is why we can't pick up first downs.

He's always been an arrogant, condescending jerk at the podium. People complained about Brian Billick, but at least Billick was never the bonehead that Harbaugh continues to be on game day.

I don't know what was up with Hester today.

Didn't he drop punt returns in both the Jags and Raiders games? In the Jags game, I think it was muffed. That may have something to do with his aversion to catching the ball.

We might get blown out this game.

If it leads to Trestman getting fired, I'm actually OK with that. Or maybe a bad L to the Giants followed up by another offensive stinker vs the Jets will be enough.

What I'm worried about though is the offense actually being somewhat competent (but not great) the next 2 weeks with an L @ Giants and W @ Jets. That will probably give Trestman a free pass the rest of the year heading into the meat of our season. I feel like that's how things will go.

  10. Harbaugh's not going anywhere any time soon. It'd probably literally take a couple more underachieving seasons for that to happen. This is coming from someone who's never been a big fan of his, but despite his boneheaded decisions throughout the years and in particular this season, I think he's the least of this team's problems.

NY has a much tougher defense than Washington or Oakland and we couldn't do anything against those teams. I hope Ronnie Stanley's return pays off. I would love more than anything to steal this one. We got the Jets after who are not a good team. 5-2 would be a good start before the bye. You could be looking at a 6-2 record after that if we beat Pittsburgh, then we got Cleveland and you could see 7-2 right there. I think we should calm down a bit.

It could be argued that none of the teams we've faced so far are "good" teams, so the Jets are more than capable of beating us. On the flip side, the Jets have faced very good competition this year. They've probably penned the Ravens right now as an easy win on their schedule.
