I respectfully disagree. Torrey is entering his third season and has led the team in TDs since his rookie year. That is the year Wideouts break out and considering his ceiling is very high, I don't know how you can say that. He is the hardest worker on this team. Then comes the draft, there is some real good receivers in this draft. Hopkins, woods, and Wheaton are all day one contributors.

well as of lately we have been developing receivers much better than before mainly becuase we have stable QB play. This is a deep receiver class, so I would take a guy in the second round if the value is there. Markus wheaton, Hopkins, Woods, all are guys that would be good day one contributors.

Jacoby wouldnt be a number 1 anyway, probably not even a number 2 if we lose Q.

That stat alone kind of depresses me lol. To think our second year receiver who was raw as anything coming out has more receiving tds in two seasons is kind of sad. I was hoping he would be a redzone monster and he was never that with Cam; with Caldwell he was a beast in the redzone. I also agree that a #2 option/boldin replacement should be found in this year's draft or next year's draft.

yup sadly this is true. He's been incredibly consistent but has never lead the team in TDs or even broken 1000 yard mark.

Torrey could be incredibly versitile and with another off season he should be our #1. Torrey has very good ball skills and imo he could give Q a run for his money in the hands department after another offseason.

In all honesty Boldin is going to have to be replaced eventually anyway. I personally don't believe he is going to be cut, but with the depth at receiver in this year in the draft it could be possible. I was expecting Torrey to take over #1 duties regardless of whether Boldin is here or not. Boldin in reality has a year or two left in him.

There was that pick route where it was perfectly thrown and he simply dropped it. He was even signaling "my bad".

Not sure what negative things people can say about Laquan. He wasn't really that bad his rookie year with the small amount of playing time he had.

eehhhhh I don't know all about that, Lee Evans isn't on our team anymore and most of our guys can catch. Doss had that one really bad game against the Colts, but outside of that most guys can catch.

Id rather keep Boldin than overpay for Ellerbe tbh
