Definitely. He's good as a #3 or #4, but not a starter. Really would like to spend an early pick on WR this year again.

Joe should make his pay cut be conditional on the Ravens drafting a receiver That's a difference maker not a project or a late pick I would like a wr at 36 since I know we are not drafting a wr in the 1st rd

  2. I make atleast 1 of these every offseason, and this one wont be any different! I, of course, am not a professional but a Ravens fan since it's inception. We all love these Ravens equally, and can dissagree withought there being any hard feelings :)

Round 1: A'shawn Robinson, Interior Lineman, Alabama, 6'4 320 lbs

    Alabama+v+Arkansas+RW2VV-_7XBel.jpg

BPA my friend, Robinson was the vocal leader for that Bama defense, we can certainly use one of those. He's extremely versatile and can play anywhere across the defensive line. He can play the 5 technique in our base formation, slide to the 3 in the nickel and even play the 0 if we get caught in a no huddle situation. Canty might not be back next year, this guy would be an upgrade and would be the first step to playing Raven football again.

Round 2: Jonothan Allen, Edge Rusher, Alabama, 6'3 265 lbs

This might be my least popular pick, lose one Bama Backer (Upshaw) and replace him with another, and double dip in Alabama. Well yes, when a team consistently has one of the nastiest front 7's in the league it would be smart to leach some of that talent. Alabama teaches their guys fundamentals, and Jonathan will come here from day one knowing assignment football. He's the guy to learn behind Suggs.

Round 3: Josh Doctson, WR, TCU, 6'4 190 lbs

    460057682-wide-receiver-josh-doctson-of-

Bobby Engram is showing that he can develop the nuances in a WRs game to help them become better route runners. Doctson won't be able to out-athlete everyone at the next level, but selling his routes a little bit more, and threatning what defenders are trying to protect will take this kid to the next level. I truely believe Doctson can take the league by storm if he lands in the right place. And i think this is one of those places. Joe Flacco likes to throw "trust passes" and with Doctson, Smitty, Kamar, Crocket, and Maxx he will always have somewhere to go when teams continue to blitz on 3rd down.

Round 4: Le'Raven Clark, Offensive Tackle, Texas Tech, 6'6 313 lbs

    LeRaven-Clark-630x319.jpeg

Here comes the pick to make Juan Castillo happy. Firstly the name shows that he was meant to come to Baltimore, but on top of that the young man has very good side to side movement. He has adequate strength to move people and will probably project to be a guard or right tackle in the nfl. That's perfect for the future, we don't know if we can resign Rick Wagner down the road, and Marshal Yanda can't play forever. We can develop a player to rotate our line for either spot.

    Notes:

    * The first 2 picks are on defense because our offense has shown that they can do more with less better than our defense can.

    * I predict our defensive line to be: Jernigan - Williams - Robinson (that would be SO nasty)

    * Our linebacker core would be: Suggs - Mosley - Smith - Doom/Allen (slightly better on paper than last year, maybe equal with age considered)

    * I have Doctson falling because of his struggles to separate, and most likely not having great combine numbers.

lol lol lol lol lol lol lol lol lol lol

  3. Eh, with all due respect, while I think coverage is important, I wouldn't pass or call Bosa overrated because of coverage. Suggs isn't even the best in coverage (although he's a beast on those screens) but you get a pass rusher to do that--rush the passer & give him Hell.

how old is Suggs again ? Lol your right they do look the same in coverage

  4. Well we at least have some future at wide out with Perriman and Aiken, but CB we have pretty much Jimmy and that's about it, we'll see if Shareece Wright can continue playing decent but behind them we have pretty much nothing even if we're good at CB for 2016 we have literally no future at corner right now.

well u did say it nothing behind them a Kendall fuller can be had in the third or fourth rd while u can't find a wr like Treadwell there even Ozzie said it Wr

  5. Aiken isn't a fourth he's a solid #3 and a decent #2 in a pinch. I mean come on aiken had a better statistical season than Boldin ever had here and everyone still thinks letting Boldin go was a bad idea, some people were still clamoring for marlon brown to see the field after his decent rookie season but he's proven to be a product of volume and has shown absolutely nothing since, Aiken is no scrub.

so is he better than Martivus Bryant ? Could he have made that catch lol is he better stop kidding yourself

  6. Not sure I agree with your other post that Bosa is highly overrated, but I do like Noah Spence quite a bit. He's up there for me as a pass rusher I want for the team with Yannick Ngakoue & Jonathan Allen. Those are really the only four guys who really get me interested. I'm just not feeling a lot of the pass rushers this year.

Why do you feel Bosa is overrated? I'd like to hear. I'll admit that there are things I've seen from his game that concern me, but his ability to apply pressure is really, really good.

I feel he is ovverrated bc in the nfl the offensive coordinator will get u matched up on a te somehow and he will be exploited in pass coverage hes no jj watt he should play more inside or de In a 4-3 hes not our guy

  7. If I had to guess, I'd say Monroe, Canty, Webb, Daryl Smith, Arrington, Lewis, Elam, Mallett, & Pitta would be the guys I would say have the chance to be cut for salary cap reasons.

Out of those names, I'd say Mallett is the safest followed by Webb & Elam. I'm not sure what our plan is with either, but Webb can save 3.5M, while Elam saves 1.3M. What works in both their favor is Elam supposedly looked good before getting a season-ending injury & he's still on his rookie deal & we may want to see what we have in him before totally letting him go. Webb is supposedly our FS next year, which means that he's probably safe but you never know. Mallett is also likely safe due to being a recent addition.

Arrington doesn't look like he'll stick around after being frequently inactive. Smith could be seen as worth the cap hit due to his experience, although I wonder what the future holds for Arthur Brown then. If we re-sign KO, then Monroe is almost assuredly cut. Pitta doesn't save us much unless designated as a post June 1st cut, but the 80/20 rule here combined with a possible need for future cap space may cause us to part ways. Maybe he takes a paycut, though. We'll see.

Canty is almost assuredly gone. Lewis doesn't save much but I can't see why we would keep him. Trawick is more important than him on ST, and he's an RFA.

mallett lol what would the cap hit ??? Lol

lol aiken yeah hes a fourth on any other team and perriman is coming off a injury some future lol

  9. I agree BUTTTT,

Treadwell, we have never been in a position to draft a true 1 WR, we have tried to draft WR in later rounds and it has never worked. so get that TRUE 1 WR, and spend the rest of all those picks, trade if needed and get that CB or OT,

and get another DC, oh maybe an assit to the defense(pettine.schwartz,or leslie frazier as a DB coach). We have drafted almost every position in later rounds, and struck gold, except WR, Lets get him and yes get the rest later.

    great minds think alike
