Don't get me wrong. I love Sizzle, but that's a stunt he'd never pull when Reed, Ray and Pollard were there. Not without correction.
He's always been fun and a bit of a court jester around the locker-room and sidelines, but never with other teams until after the game. Think about it. Why give a rookie QB that kind of focus, acknowledgement when you're about to face the most physical line in the league? How do you expect the rookies on your team to know and feel the urgency of this upcoming game?
Rex did the same thing this year with Edelman and Edelman had a better response, "...why don't you ask our coach?" Dak could have said, "Why don't you ask Free, Martin, Frederick, Collins, etc. on Sunday?". That's why the Ravens veteran leadership would never take that lightly from any youngsters.
Besides, his end game was to give appreciation to Dak, (not the entire Cowboys Team) for beating Pittsburgh 'for us'. That's weak - since we've been putting in our own work in our division and will continue. Just don't get it, but outside of that Sizzle is still one of my favorite players.
Terrell Suggs always been a comedian even when Ed and Ray was here. He wasn't " The Leader " because Ray clearly was but he always played around. I thought it was great. Just because you're a veteran player doesn't mean that you have to be serious at all times. If he was an average player I would have a problem because he'd need to work on his craft more instead of being a comedian. People have to remember THIS IS A GAME. When he's on the field we see his effort and how serious he take his game. As a fan, that's all we ask from all players.
