  1. A bit early for me but remember that I lost Barry Church who can play both FS and SS at the same time so I need another guy ;)

In all seriousness, JJ Wilcox and Jeff Heath were disappointing as starters at SS last year so some competition through the draft was needed as well as some depth although I want to give both the opportunity to reclaim the spot if they earn it.

good pick I was going to draft him if he was still available.

  2. Pick is in.

Kelcy Quarles was overshadowed by Clowney on the South Carolina front 4 but he has tons of potential and a very quick first step. I'm very happy to get him this late in the draft.

I actually wanted to go a different direction but there is so much talent still left and Quarles was my clear BPA, I couldn't pass on him.

Good Pick. He was going to be my pick in the fifth round and  i was hoping no one would draft him. Now im sad :(

  3. Great. Clint has kept his depth chart and SoF pretty clean. I'd check the draft thread as I'm not sure all or his picks are present in the depth chart, but it shouldn't be too difficult to track everything.

Furthermore, if you have any questions, feel free to PM me. I'll be around most of the day/night.

Thanks and I made my pick

  4. And not to rush you or anything, but if you could get your pick in soon, that would be great. Youd have a pretty big gap between picks where you could get your depth chart and other things in order.

Ok cool it would not be long at all for me to pick . I look at the depth chart in which clint provide so I think i pretty good idea who i want to target.

  5. We're not about to punish him for others holding up the process. He's agreed to do us the favor of taking over the team, which saves us the time and effort. At this point, he's not even aware of the fact that it's final, as he signed on, stated that he'd be willing to take over and the confirmation was given after he was offline. And while thanking him for the assistance, we're about to decline him the slightest chance of even being online to be aware of the approval and make his selection, nevermind time to get familiar with the roster? The very least that we could do in return is offer him a few hours to get settled in. Let's focus on reasoning for once, instead of pushing this process ahead by any means necessary for the sake of doing so. We're just a few days out from the pace of the 2013 Draft, before it was inhibited by a certain member's stalling and trading back. We're not so far behind that we can't offer some leeway if it's reasonable, and this is a more than reasonable situation to do so. I would recommend extending his deadline until a certain time this afternoon. That would be enough to get him situated, and would also cover the pace if there are any setbacks with him not being online the rest of the day.

So i guess that means theres no way I can take his spot lol

  6. Thats not much of an O line. Wouldnt be scared if i was the opposing d-line. I feel we have too many holes and not enough star quality. We are an ok team, but roster/talent wise we are middle of the park

I'm fine with that because you don't win games base off great talent alone. The Eagles in  2011 and 2012 should be good example of that. I know for some fans it sucks that we haven't made the big free agent signings like Denver, New England and but I wouldn't have it any other way.

  7. I dont know. They lost so many close games. Gino was Horrible in both pass protection and run game, most plays were stopped before they started. Pees told me GG

was so bad in TC he couldnt evaulate his defense.

You know a player sucks when Ozzie trades for a replacement in just one year after GG was a 4th rounder

    and already given up on.

GG has no business in pro football. Huge draft gaffe just like Jah Reid. GG as stated by Pees "wouldnt start for most colleges" thats quite a statement. Then KO got hurt and Shipley couldnt play Center cause Reid was so awful. I will happy to never see GG and Shipley ever play à down a game.

I don't believe in the idea that a player/human being can't improve.  I still to this day don't understand why we made Juan Castillo the offensive line coach when we knew the whole time he favored bigger/mauler type offense linemen which is something  Gino is not.

I think its a little harsh to say Gino has no business in pro football but thats your opinion. Our offensive line in general was terrible even Yanda  look bad at times.
