The Browns aren't exactly the greatest decision makers

I think The Browns have been moving a little smart this off season . They offered Pryor  8 millon a year and he turned it down because he thinks that his market value is at 9 or 10 million a year.  No team at this moment is willing to pay that much and it's telling that other receivers with less production/upside  have been signed to  long term deals and he  still a free agent. Pryor agent for some reason believes his client has shown enough to be paid like one of the top receivers in The NFl but teams are playing it smart and believe one year  for a player to play at  the wide receiver position for the first time for a season isn't enough to warrant such a big pay.

Either everyone is keeping him hush hush or he greatly overthought his market value.

From what I read which I believe was on rotoworld.com it seems like the reason why Pryor isn't being talked about alot is because he thinks 10 million or more is his market value and teams are backing away. The money that The Browns offered Britt is the same amount of money The Browns were wiling to offer  Pryor.

I've always though Wallace was a bet to stay if the position wasn't addressed elsewhere, but really can't see how it makes sense to keep him if a reunion with Torrey is in store.  That would make our top 4 WRs all the same, pretty much.

Definitely true but if Perriman steps his game up then maybe not true . The Raven also have a bunch of  talented tight ends and could use one or two  of them to be the possession receiver  in which they may be looking for /need.

Jefferson is a stud... Woodhead doesn't do much for me, could end up being a contributor though. My problem with it is we have 2 serviceable backs already, what we need is a workhorse. If we don't straighten out the OL it won't matter who the RB is though.

Kenneth Dixon actually could be that workhorse. The guy was probably the second  or third best running back after Ezekiel Elliot in 2016 draft class  who   for some reason fell to fourth round. Terrance West is talented as well and wasn't  a third rounder for no reason.

O-line has to be a sizeable need going into the new league year, with Wagner leaving Yanda aging, and the fact that we did not run block or pass block particularly well last season. I'd like to see us find our  KO 2.0, he was such a valuable pick who did huge things for us and turned out to be a special player.  So maybe we add a free agent  or 2 and use the draft to find a young prospect. You cant have enough oline depth, hopefully we really push to solidify.

I don't think The Ravens offensive line issues was that they couldn't run block well but I think the issue with The Ravens run game in general was that they didn't run the ball enough.

Jefferson was the #2 rated safety by PFF behind only Weddle.

#1 run stopper but also only allowed a 44% completion rate in his coverage and a QB rating of 50 when targeted.

He IS versatile. He and Weddle are a GREAT combo.

Literally the number 1 and 2 Safeties according to PFF.

It's nothing about Tony Jefferson game that makes me think he's versatile enough to play free safety in Dean Pees scheme. Even Will Hill looked out of place at times playing free safety for The Ravens. Jefferson does not have the range or speed to have deep coverage responsibilities. He is your ideal in the box safety with enough speed to cover tight ends and running backs along with being versatile enough to play  the linebacker position in The Ravens nickel or dime package.

Weddle was a FS who played SS for us, Jefferson is a SS which would allow us to move Weddle back to FS this season.

Weddle was just a safety last year.. He played both free and strong safety which you can be said for Webb as well. It's true that for most of Weddle  career he has been a free safety but he obviously proved last year that he can play both strong and free safety. In today's NFL most teams want  their safeties to be versatile which help give their secondary more flexible   and etc . Correct me if i'm wrong but  Tony Jefferson is basically a  Bernard Pollard with better coverage ability and it's  nothing wrong with that but he doesn't give Weddle the freedom to roam the field like last year.

Wallace does it better, actually he does so many things better. Like catching the ball, coming back to the ball, running routes, making plays over the middle of the field.

Wallace may be better but him and Torrey Smith are basically the same receiver.if The Ravens think they can get Smith cheaper and save money then that makes things interesting. Torrey Smith knows Joe Flacco and  they have chemistry but having Wallace, Perriman and Smith out wide after Dixon or West does damage on the field sounds nasty especially if it's a play action play.

I'd cut him. Despite what rankings say, I thought he struggled last year. Plus, seeing Weddle trying to recruit another safety says a lot.

I disagree. I thought Webb stepped his game up after The game against The Dolphins and i'm not sure if Weddle was recruiting Tony Jeffferson at all. He could have just been playing around but most teams have atleast three starting safeties so why not add another safety in the mix.

Please just cut all the dead weight contracts... how many years now have we been getting weighed down by bad contracts. Next up is Webb and Pitta. Hopefully we're clearing for Pryor but I'm not going to get my hopes up.

Webb was the 14th best safety last year so I'll be surprised if he's cut.

It's 2017, not 1987. The teams with good defenses are the ones that get interior pressure. If you're not getting pressure, you're not that special.

This does not change  a  NT primary job in 3-4 defense. Please find me a  good or great  pass rushing NT today if you feel like i'm wrong.  Teams obviously still value great run stopping nose tackles and  Damon Harrison is a primary example of that. The statement you made by saying "good defenses are the one that get interior pressure"   is only one level of what a good defense is able to do  . A good defense is able to stop the run, defend against the pass and get to the quarterback it's really that simple. The Ravens probably were at their best at getting pressure on the quarterback in 2014 but there defense was not special and if you think so then wow.The Eagles, Browns,  Dolphins,  and etc were on of the better teams in The NFL to get pressure on the quarterback according NFl Gen Stats. Dolphins defense got destroyed by Le'Veon Bell in the playoffs and they  paying defensive tackle by the name  Ndamukong Suh  19 million this season after paying him  12 million last year.

Overall either it's in 1987 or 2017 today   nose tackles in a  3-4 defensive scheme  tend not to  make  a  big impact statistically but their  job is to clog up  as much space in the middle to allow other defenders to make plays . The nose tackle are often double teamed by the offensive line in order to move them in preferred directions depending on on the offense play call so they obviously help with interior pressure  by freeing up guys like Timmy Jernigan and etc. Having a big  strong nose like Brandon Williams also helps with keeping inside linebackers like CJ Mosley at 238 pound instead of 245    or 250 pounds and for obvious reasons.
