  1. Caldwell in my opinion is great with developing quarterbacks and he may not be a good play caller atleast last year but he may be able to help Matthew Stafford and thier offense out a lot. I honestly don't want Caldwell to leave because he such a good quarterback coach
  2. I like Hue Jackson he really did wonders for the raiders offense when he was their offensive coordinator he also runs his offense base off the air corydell as well
  3. More slants, more screens, more comeback routes , quick pitches to the receiver and atleast more pitches or counters for the running backs instead of calling inside runs all the time would had been much needed( you don't need to be a great route runner for these). I still don't see how it made so much sense to call plays that required our receivers to go deep for the majority of the time knowing we lack talent on the offensive line to hold up in pass protection consistently for that long. In this league you either going to adept or get eating alive. The Bengels defense took advantage of The Ravens offense biggest weakness which is the refusal to adapt when needed. Flacco basically was getting killed out there because our offensive coordinator and run game coordinator chose to stick to their old guns instead of bringing out news ones just in case things got ugly. We need a new offensive coordinator unless Jim Caldwell sees the light.
  4. I agree I think we had enough talent on offense to help out Joe Flacco a lot more but the play calling just wasn't creative enough . Caldwell did a good job last year but I think its obvious that he should be the quarterback coach only and a new offensive coordinator should be hired. I know the receivers the ravens have aren't great route runners but you don't always need a great route runner in order to have a creative passing attack or for the offensive coordinator to think out side of the box . Even if we draft or sign better talent to help out the offense I don't really expect much change because right now we have a offense that's just not smart enough and that starts with the coaches .
  5. I don't understand how the chargers can lose their two top receivers such as Macolm Flyod and Denario Alexander but still turn out to have the fifth overall offense in the league. Is rookie Keenan Allen,Vincent Brown and Eddie Royal really that more talented than Torrey Smith, Marlon Brown and Jacoby Jones ? Is Philip Rivers whom had a disaster year under the air corydell system last year really that much better than Joe Flacco ? Keenan Allen is making noise right now in the league , Vincent Brown is a slot receiver at best with good hands, and Eddie Royal is the speedy guy whom is a good kick returner with iffy hands at times but im not sure if they are great route runners. I know they still have one of the best tight ends in the game in Antonio Gates but yet they are ranked 4th in the league when it comes to passing the ball. I think that's amazing how a offensive coordinator can do so well when he loses basicly his number one and two receivers to injuries but still produce a good passing offense but it's ashame the ravens offense couldn't do the same.
  6. Mike Martz will get Flacco killed and he doesn't used tight ends in his offense as much as the ravens like to .
  7. I thought Chud will be interesting as well but he likes the vertical offense and im not sure if that's whats best for our offense as a whole. The ravens basicly already run a vertical offense or should I say the Air Corydell
  8. Calvin Johnson is a explosive guy also one of the best receivers in the league but even he needs help which is one of reason why the lions had to find a good running back and a good receiver that can make plays when Johnson can't(they still searching for that receiver actually). I love Jacoby Jones I hope he's a raven next year but if he isn't honestly I believe the ravens will be fine. Pitta in my opinion is one of the best tight ends in the league and he may not be explosive like the other tight ends but the guy is still great.I doubt he gets Graham or Gronk money but If he does then that's cool it must means the ravens believe he deserves it plus it ain't coming out my wallet so why should I care lol .
  9. Im sorry but you must be out your mind if you don't think Pitta is a game changer. I can't believe Pitta and Jones is even up for debate.
  10. I think since Takeo Spikes received a 9 million dollar contract from the chargers in 2011 then London Fletcher whom re-signed with the redskins this offseason received a two year 10 million dollar contract may indicate that Smith could receive the same form of contract or slightly more. I'm not sure about Jacoby Jones(he will be 30 next year) and since kick returners can't enter into the pro bowl any more it makes me wonder if it decreases their value but Jones also right now is proven he can be more than good kick returner but I'm still not sure about him being too expensive for The Ravens to re-sign
  11. that was a amazing game

  12. In my opinion I think Doss has done well for the ravens. He contributed as a emergency fill in and became one of the best punt returner also made some nice catches at times on third downs. Doss has indeed made some mistakes but no body perfect even a veteran player like Jacoby Jones made a mistake especially in the playoffs against us when he was a Texan. When you said "He makes bad decisions and just doesn't have a good "football sense" its kinda crazy because this is the exact same thing ravens/texans fans were saying about Jacoby Jones. I think if the ravens coaches felt like Doss couldn't be trusted at all then he wouldn't be activated during games and since Deonte Thompson probably can do the same thing as Doss it must means they see Doss as one of the best players to help them win games.
  13. I dont know why you hate Matt Elam but I think he's going to be very good player but thats my opinion.
  14. Ed Reed is 35 years old ,he's still recovering from a hip injury to my understanding, and he hasn't been playing well at all . I would love for Ed Reed to come back but thats just me as a fan with out considering logical reason. If the ravens bring back Ed Reed who are they going to cut ? and is it really worth the risk to sign a player whom may not have it anymore? It may be too risky especially for a player that can't play on special team and then cut a player whom can play special teams and etc.
  15. Honestly I wouldn't mind reed coming back
  16. I think the patriots offense showed last nite why it some times cannot be a good idea to have so many rookies starting offense also it definately shows that you can't just surround elite quarterbacks or any good quarterback with any receiver expecting good results only cause the quarterback is soo good/such good leader

  17. Not really because the 49ers have a different offensive philosophy than then the ravens . Mason and Boldin at the time were in the don corydell offense which honestly fits speedy wideouts and really tall wideouts more than anything. The 49ers run a west coast offense which is built for a wideout like Boldin also the 49ers have speedy wideouts like ted gin and their 2012 first rounder aj Jenkins to stretch the field if needed
  18. It sucks that boldin has been traded he meant a lot to the team especially as a leader on offense but the ravens seem to want to go younger which is understandable. I seen people say its a good thing that boldin is gone because he was slowest wideout in the league but how is that possible when he average 4.2 yards after the catch while some like Jordan Shipley average 1.9 yards after the catch and theres definitely others the average way less than Boldin
