  1. When healthy Webb is still clearly capable of covering any receiver in my opinion and I think it's far from barely a number 2 corner as well. Webb is so versatile honestly to the point it's kinda hard to really cut him or trade him. There's corners out there that can play outside and nickel but not alot of them can play it well like Webb . I do believe the 12 million is high for Webb and that's only because he's been injury prone lately.
  2. Crabtree hasn't been getting much interest from any thing lately. I seen The Chargers and Redskins have some interest in him but Crabtree didn't look like his old self last year ever since tore his acl.Crabtree never been a speedster and always had separation issues but if he lost any quickness or burst then what actually makes him better than the receivers we already have? It's quite possible that he could regain his old form but overall Crabtree is pretty risk especially if his asking price is too high.
  3. The reason why Ihedigbo wasn't retain was because The Ravens wanted Matt Elam (aka their first rounder) to start at strong safety since Elam is supposely more comfortable playing near the line of scrimmage. . Will Hill is a better safety than Pollard and Ihedigbo and way more versatile as well. You not really going to ask safeties like Pollard to cover tight ends like Gronk or Gresham and you definitely can say the same for Ihedigbo. Will Hill on the other hand has a better chance of being successful covering tight ends like Gronk or Gresham . Matt Elam was better in this rookie year but just regressed last year but the Kendrick signing should help with making our secondary more versatile in my opinion.
  4. I have no clue honestly.
  5. Actually Ihedigbo was a better cover safety than Pollard and it wasn't penalty machine like Pollard was. He overall gave us the same thing Pollard did but was just a upgrade in the coverage department and he was cheaper.
  6. Will Hill is versatile enough to play free safety and strong safety. Allowing Hill to play strong safety gives The Ravens defense a better chance to match up a big safety against those big/athletic tightends like Jimmy Graham and Gronk. There were moments where The Ravens had Will Hill cover near the line scrimmage and who ever was covering deep as the free safety messed up big time. It was quite evident against The Patriots where I believe Will Hill was covering Gronk near the line of scrimmage while Darian Stewalt had single high coverage responsibilities and Tom Brady went for a touch down pass to Brandon Lafell. I like Jeromy Miles but obviously the coaches don't believe he's capable of being a full time starter and if they did do you really think they would sign Kendrick when Miles is alot more cheaper? What have you really seen from Miles to say he's better than Kendrick? Kendrick has been nothing but a free safety for the majority of his career and has never played strong safety so the idea that Miles would be a better strong safety than Kendrick doesn't make sense. Do you honestly feel confident that Miles is fully capable of covering those more athletic tight ends? You shouldn't and if Will Hill has come in and do it do you really feel Miles will do find with deep coverage responsibilities?
  7. Well Pollard or Ihedigbo never were free safeties. There responsibilities in our defense will be different from what we will ask Kendrick to do.
  8. Kendrick always been a pretty talent safety but he dealt with injuries and etc in which for some reason affected his play. He goes to the The Texans and overall basically revives his value and career.
  9. That's cause the cornerback and safety draft class isn't that strong this year.
  10. When you said Jimmy Smith was a bust people doubted you When you said Justin Forsett was scrub people doubted you and I'm sure there many other players you said were bust or scrubs that Ozzie drafted or signed but turn out to be the opposite. I'm not questioning you football knowledge but you have been proving wrong more than once.
  11. That's a good signing and figured they would be interested.
  12. When has he ever had a chance to play with a quarterback that's actually worth talking about? The last time I check he had Christian Ponders and Matt Cassel throwing to him in 2013 then had a rookie quarterback throwing to him last year in a totally new offensive scheme but still had solid productions. It's not like The Ravens are going to get their hands on a number one receiver in free agency and currently all the receivers available right now are just solid number 2's or 3's.
  13. Yeah and he's only 31 so he should have alot left in the tank.
  14. The regular season doesn't start tomorrow. The Ravens still have time to sign a free agent receiver or they can look to the draft which is pretty deep with talented receivers. All hope is not lost.
  15. Both you guys have probably been a Raven fan for more than two years so you should know by now how the team operates during fa. The Ravens never were the type of team to make big splashes in the free agency market and they always been patience with how they operate. I know some Ravens fans want to press the panic button cause we not making those flashy type signing like the other teams so far but um I think there more than enough evidence to say The Ravens know what they doing.
  16. I'm not sure about that. Norv Turner isn't a bad offensive coordinator and he loves tall receivers. He basically helped Josh Gordon to a monster season in 2013. Even if Norv Turner philosophy is the same as Cam Cameron he definitely knows his stuff about receivers. I like the guy potentials and maybe receiver coach Bobby Engram can help him reach that along with the other coaches on the team but it doesn't look good for a team to give up on first round receiver whom hasn't even entered into his third season yet.
  17. I heard he's asking price is 6 million but you got to like the guy versatility and he's pretty fast as well.
  18. Greg Roman is The Bills offensive coordinator and this is second team as a offensive coordinator in The NFL(49ers the first team). Unless you mean at the college level well this seems like the first time Harvin and Roman have actually met.
  19. Well Harvin went to the Bills. I wasn't a fan of his but I don't see how it makes sense for him to go to The Bills though
  20. Yeah but The Patriots must be offering him more money.
  21. They want more draft pick so they can have better chance to draft solid players to their team and they must feel that this year draft class at receiver is so deep to the point they will have no problem finding a receiver that can atleast be just as good or better than Kenny Stills
  22. Forsett cap hit is only 1.6 million now that's a steal in my opinion.
  23. At this point Patterson is just a taller Percy Harvin with more speed. I'm shook that he wasn't able to excel right away in Norv Turner offense because the route running requirements aren't quite too complex. His route running is actually worst than Torrey at this moment but he does have nice upside.
  24. The Ravens don't like giving up comp picks so you not going to see them making a push for players whom are not cut by their previous team. The Ravens may not at this moment consider the Safety position as much of a concern as we fans tend to believe or think. I can see them going after a safety like Dashon Goldson or Micheal Griffin(if cut). Other safeties like Stevie Brown,Kendrick Lewis, Louis Delmas and etc could be potential targets but probably around June only if they still around.
  25. I don't know why he couldn't win the job in seattle but maybe the coaches in Seattle preferred more of a powerback /bigger back to carry the load than a much smaller guy like Forsett. When he went to Houston they already had Arian Foster and Ben Tate. Tate was The Texans second rounder whom was coming off 942 rushing yard along with 4 touchdown type season before Forsett was added to the team but when Ben Tate was out for a few games due to injuries Forsett preformed and averaged 5.9 rushing yards I don't know what actually happened with him when he went to Jaguars but i thought it was foot or ankle injury. He was dinged up last year on roughly 250 touches as you said but he didn't miss a game but also if Bernard Pierce was actually a better back up running back Forsett wouldn't have to worry about so many touches .
