  1. So is The NFL going to announce a cap increase or is the cap going to stay the same? Maybe they already announced it and I missed it.
  2. So are we suppsoe to quote the other team player when we bid on a player. For example lets say I have Jah Reid at 0.5 stars as The Rams but another team player decides to bid for Jah Reid at 1.0 stars but doesn't quote the original bidder/me . Does that count if they don't ?
  3. Rams OT Chris Clark 1.5 star
  4. Rams OG Brandon Fusco 0.5 stars OT Chris Clark 0.5 stars
  5. Rams Cody Wallace 1.0 stars
  6. Being ranked 25th and the 18th ranked center in the league for the past two years doesn't seem awesome to me. I think it's quite realistic that Mangold could be declining and if he is then how is he a upgrade over Zuttah? Zuttah has played just as well or better than Mangold for the past two years and is only 30 years old.
  7. I question if The Ravens are really moving into a power run blocking scheme. They were run power and gap scheme last year with some zone but the fact that they hired a offensive line coach that's been known for teaching the zone blocking scheme and if you look up what Marty M likes to do on offense then I don't believe The Ravens are totally throwing the zone blocking out the door. Bigger offensive linemen like K.O can still fit in a zone blocking scheme especially if they can get to the second level and can move in space like him. Even though The Ravens direction with their run blocking scheme isn't totally clear to me right now it seems like they want to run a versatile attack which means they won't be primarily a power blocking offensive line or a zone blocking offensive line.
  8. If you take pro football focus rankings at any value then Zuttah has been the better center the past two years. If The Ravens sign Mangold then they have to hope that he's better than his 25th center or 18th ranking which isn't better than Zuttah. It helps that he knows Marty M offensive scheme and during that time he was ranked the 1st best center in the league in 2014 but that was two years ago.
  9. I'm not sure if there is one in this draft . Maybe there are some that can grow into being top tier center but I don't think there's clear cut top tier center right now .
  10. Thank you for telling me because I wasn't aware of this .
  11. This is not a bad draft at all but before I comment further on that let me start on your free agent choices. Alshon Jeffery is a good receiver but unless The Ravens believe their new strength and condition coach can keep him healthy then giving him a long term contract is risky. I like Tony Jefferson but don't like that he's strictly a strong safety in Dean Pees defensive scheme. I read that The Broncos run defense wasn't really all that good last year and Sylvester Williams was their starting NT but The Ravens have been known to get more out of players. I didn't like that you cut Mike Wallace even though Jeffery is a better receiver than him it leaves Joe Flacco with just Breshad Perriman with prior experience with Joe. I'm not downing Perriman at all but I just think Flacco needs atleast two wide receivers he has played with before . Corey Davis is one of the better wideouts in this draft so how can anyone hate this pick. I don't like the Desmond King pick not because he's not a good player but because of what you envision he will be . He's a pure zone corner and doesn't have the size that some or most would like to see a outside cornerback have especially one that could fill for Jimmy Smith if needed. I think The Ravens need a taller corner that has the ability to press receivers but also has the quick feet and etc to play zone and off man. King would be a great pick if The Ravens were considering him as a safety but it just seem like you drafted a nickel corner in the second with Young and Webb already petty solid in that area. I don't know alot about Ethan Pocic but the guy is pretty tall .Zach Banner interest me but not sure if I like him at guard or should I say i'm not sure if will be ideal fit there. I really like Ryan Switzer and I have no clue who the other guys are.
  12. Rams LB Audie Cole 0.5 stars
  13. Matthew Stafford still played great last year with out Megatron but his touchdowns and completion went down from his 2015 seasons.Every quarterback has a blanket and it's not like Stafford reached a new level of quarterback play after Calvin Johnson retired atleast according to stats . I doubt The Ravens aren't going to sign a veteran receiver and if they do or don't Joe Flacco will simply just have to find another blanket to throw to . The last time he didn't have a security blanket was in 2013 and it didn't work out well for him which motivated The Ravens to sign Steve Smith Sr in the first place. The only way Flacco get's better is if he actually does something similar to what Matt Ryan did during the offseason in 2016 which is probably hiring a good quarterback coach to work on his mechanics, working with his receivers, and working hard to get on the same page with Marty M so by the time training camp gets started he'll be comfortable within the offense.
  14. How often does any flat route turn into a 40 yard gain?. I don't think it was created to do so but it definitely can happen especially if the opposing defenders are caught surprise by it or the player breaks tackle and etc like Juice. Versatility wise yes I can understand the Hermandez comparison and it's good comparison it's just that Hermandez was never counted on to block at the fullback position. I have seen Juice being used in the slot, at running back, fullback and etc. Last year it seem like he was relied upon playing the running back position and contributing as a pass blocker on third down. The reason for that was probably main base off the fact that The Ravens running backs suck at pass blocking but I don't feel like Marty M isn't capable of using Juice in the fashion in which speak of. I'm sure Juice agent willl bring that up because I doubt Juice doesn't want to be involved in the passing game more and if The Ravens don't envision using him more then by all means he deserves to go to a team like The Patriots or Green Bay .
  15. I personally have no problem with the way Juice been used so far. I can't really remember alot of plays he was involved in that was useless but of course he could be use more creatively. The last time I remember Juice being used on a flat route last year at the fullback position was against The Patriot which he had a 40 yard gain after breaking some tackles
  16. Webb was ranked the 14th best safety last year and can play free safety, strong safety, nickel corner and probably outside corner as well . His versatility and his ability to multitask is what gave Eric Weddle the freedom to roam around the field and having two safeties that aren't limited helps with keeping the secondary versatile in my opinion. Marty M hasn't been a stranger at all with using fullbacks in the passing game so i'm not entirely sure about this .
