  1. I don't think any one is saying it's super easy (atleast i'm not)but it isn't super hard either. Ricky Wagner was the top free agent right tackle once free agency started. Not only was he the best available but the free agent market at right tackle isn't really all that great and the same can be said about this year draft. His agent had every opportunity to make him the highest paid right tackle in the league and Wagner is clearly better than Lions former starting right tackle Riley Relief who was ranked 48 among right tackles.. Lions got the best right tackle available but if this draft class was better and there was more available quality tackles in free agency then I don't think Wagner get's nearly as much as he did. Doesn't really matter where they line up because top pass rushers like Gerald Mccoy , Nadaukong Suh, Fletcher Cox, Calaisis Campbell, and more go up against centers all the time
  2. If Wagner not allowing no more than 3 sacks matters than all this talk about how Jeremy Zuttah is a bad fit for The Ravens need to stop because he allowed just as many sacks if i'm not mistaken. Just because you can't remember the last time we've had RT play as well as Wagner doesn't mean The Ravens won't be able to replace him. Brandon Williams had a down year but profootball focus had him ranked as the highest NT in the league in 2015. If you want to read more than go here link . Well he's 32 right now so The Ravens have a year and a half before then .
  3. Technically Marshal Yanda is the best guard in the league and The Ravens made sure to keep him around. It's not hard to get a good right tackle at all . I'm sorry but I'm not ready to push the panic button.
  4. Season hasn't started yet and it's still pretty early in free agency. The draft isn't even here either so The Ravens have plenty of time to address their offense and build around Joe Flacco.
  5. I have never seen Pierce make plays without Williams being on the field with him but I could be wrong . I think if The Ravens felt like Pierce could replace what Brandon Williams brings to this team then Williams wouldn't have been re-signed and if The Ravens didn't think they had a good chance of replacing Wagner then they probably would have offered him more money . It's been proven before that you don't have to draft high or spend alot to get a good right tackle
  6. Man this is sad
  7. I think K.O probably was viewed as a top flight player more than Wagner . Both got overpaid for sure but I think Wagner in general just took advance of a poor market at the right tackle position along with this years draft not being great in that area either and cashed in. I think Wagner is good right tackle with the potentials to be better but I never viewed him as a elite right tackle.
  8. I fixed that for you.
  9. If there's any team I would want to see beat the odds it would be The Ravens. I think this team in general is built to stand against the odds and prove people wrong .
  10. Yes
  11. Ngata and Williams play totally two different position though. Even though Haloti Ngata played NT in 2013 The Raven had a entire 2013 season to see Brandon Williams in practice and get a feel on what type of player he could be . It obviously was enough because it eventually lead to Ngata returning back to playing as a defensive end and Brandon Williams starting at NT. I said this before but what Williams brings to The Ravens is more than a two down player but this guy brings leadership in the locker room and is the type of guy you want on your battle ship when things get rocky.
  12. Maybe The Ravens new strength and conditioning coach will help .
  13. Is it better to get destroyed against the run or not get destroyed the against one? I think Ravens fans forget how The Ravens 2012 season went when they didn't have a good NT. Good to great NT get doubled team all the time and I have seen Williams consistently wear out centers and guards so by the time obvious passing downs gets here Jernigan should have it easy but yet he's still inconsistent. I have no issue with the guy and he's a good player but that doesn't change that he's inconsistent.
  14. Three years of inconsistency even with playing next to a NT like Brandon Williams. Good player but not sure if he's irreplaceable .
  15. I think Carl Davis is more of defensive end. If Micheal Pierce was good as we thought I think The Ravens would have let Brandon Williams walk.
  16. Brandon Williams got paid
  17. I don't see that any where..
  18. I think The Browns have been moving a little smart this off season . They offered Pryor 8 millon a year and he turned it down because he thinks that his market value is at 9 or 10 million a year. No team at this moment is willing to pay that much and it's telling that other receivers with less production/upside have been signed to long term deals and he still a free agent. Pryor agent for some reason believes his client has shown enough to be paid like one of the top receivers in The NFl but teams are playing it smart and believe one year for a player to play at the wide receiver position for the first time for a season isn't enough to warrant such a big pay.
  19. Rams Josh McCown 1.0 Stars
  20. Didn't get the corner I wanted in the defensive backs free agency thread but happy with Joe Haden.
  21. confirmed
  22. From what I read which I believe was on rotoworld.com it seems like the reason why Pryor isn't being talked about alot is because he thinks 10 million or more is his market value and teams are backing away. The money that The Browns offered Britt is the same amount of money The Browns were wiling to offer Pryor.
  23. Definitely true but if Perriman steps his game up then maybe not true . The Raven also have a bunch of talented tight ends and could use one or two of them to be the possession receiver in which they may be looking for /need.
  24. Kenneth Dixon actually could be that workhorse. The guy was probably the second or third best running back after Ezekiel Elliot in 2016 draft class who for some reason fell to fourth round. Terrance West is talented as well and wasn't a third rounder for no reason. I don't think The Ravens offensive line issues was that they couldn't run block well but I think the issue with The Ravens run game in general was that they didn't run the ball enough.
  25. But tore his acl twice if i'm not mistaken and is 32 years old . Interesting move and he was getting interest from other teams as well.
