8:45 AM EDTMarching Ravens AuditionsCome join us and become part of the best marching band in the NFL!
Monroe has called out sick four out of eight games this year alone. Hurst showed early promise, but is probably not the guy. We need more competition at left tackle or its probably time to make a move. Our blind side is vulnerable!
Not gonna sound right for our more emotional fans but, good for Pitta and good for the Ravens. Think about it. Competative edge is the gospel in this brutal game. Pitta is still young and can still ambulate. Walk away with a future and the guaranteed money. You earned it!
Pees needs to come down out of that press box, and coach his defense from the sidelines like most others do. That way he can get eyeball-to-eyeball with his players and get his signals and message across without something being lost in the translation.
The shake-up we saw in Detroit today, may not be to far away from what may happen here people. Nobody saw that coming. At the end of the day, Bisciotti is a business man too!
Take your collective heads out of the Purple Quicksand people. This the what have you done for me lately league.
Alshon Jeffries, will probably be available, but he has an injury history too. We don't have to tell Ozzie not to overpay. Please, no more senior citizens.
At rmcjacket23, free agency can be a killer, however, I tend to agree with you, wondering why we can't keep some of the players we develop. The cap is bogus, only because it was intended to keep the Jerry Jones types from becoming the N.Y Yankees and Boston Red Sox teams of the NFL.
Cheap? The difference between our Pro Franchises is obvious. The Orioles are cheap jerks and the Ravens mis-manage monies because they have a "Cap", to deal with. The NFL is a multi-billion dollar industry (brand). Everyone gets paid. The Fans, are the abused ones.
It's not all on you and your staff Harbs, but if So. Cal comes callin', go for it. Its time for a change. The G.M. has a huge hand in this mess. Bringing in guys off the street to replace starters is not how you build. Biscotti served notice after 8-8. The organization knows where he stands.
GM, Assist. GM, and Cap Guy..clean-up this mess you have collectively made. This is all on you! I leave out the Head Coach only because, he has an opinion but no power over personnel and salary management. We have become the laughing stock of the AFC!
I had no idea the Ravens are into that much with Ray Rice. I feel for him , but if that $9.5m is accurate, he should be okay. Pitta on the other hand, should be fortunate he got hurt after the deal. He is a good guy, but, the Ravens need to move on from him. He is done! Webb has to take another reduction or be released. What a cut throat business. The players are pawns. Why can't head coaches get cut without taking a financial hit. Remember B. Billick?
The Ravens hierarchy is in desperation mode now. The owner made it clear after the 8-8 season, mediocracy is not an option. Babin not being able to absorb the playbook was tell-tale. He's been with 8 teams now, come-on. He couldn't even line-up properly. Now what? Asa Jackson suddenly became an All-Pro? Mathematically, we still have hope. Personally, I'm looking to the draft (defensively) for help. Ravens, prove me wrong. Please! P.S.-I know it's only football.
Campanaro has talent and heart, but, he's not built for the big boy game. Can Givens catch the ball? One trick pony or not, if he can catch a few, oppenents will respect the position. Hope he can absorb the playbook faster than Babin.
Urschel, who in my opinion will be our next All-Pro Center, may play Rt Guard, if Yanda's agent gets too pushy. K.O., is the future, and like Yanda, is nasty. Yanda got his deal. K.O., if he continues to improve, is next in line!
Congratulations young man! You did yourself and your family proud, and, I hope you have a successful career. The Ravens and Baltimore, will be behind you. Stay true!
