With the 99th pick of the 2014 NFL Draft, the Philadelphia Eagles select...

Travis Swanson, C/G, Arkansas
Nice selection. Martin's tape isn't great but he is a fantastic athletic specimen and with the right coaching could develop into a high level starter
I'm going to bed and am up in after Dallas and Chicago. Does anyone want my pick?
trade it to me
PM me
I'm really mad. These past few picks have killed me..
Same here. I have a few guys I'm looking at but they don't appear to be great values. Not quite sure what I'm gonna do with pick 99.
He misses a ton of blocks and has terrible balance. He has potential if he can get in shape and work hard on proper technique, but there is a good chance he is a complete bust imo.
Most of the tape I've seen has been good. He is dominant in the run game, although he does miss some blocks in the passing game. From what I can tell that's due to a lack of agility and heavy feet, something he should be able to improve upon in an NFL training program. I think you may be right about a bust possibility but he has a very high ceiling and is well worth the risk here IMO.
Cyril Richardson is a fantastic pick. I know people have soured on him a bit since the Senior Bowl and Combine but if you watch the tape you see a dominant player. He should be a very capable starter in a power based scheme. Nice value here at the end of round 3.
Impressive how much we've picked up the pace in this draft. I gotta get my board ready for pick 99.
Ugh, this is so boring having to wait until pick 99 to choose again. At least I got Eric Weddle for all of those picks.
Also Dee Ford is a major steal at this point. I think he develops into a very good pass rusher who can succeed in multiple facets of the game despite being undersized.
Eagles NT Cam Thomas is available for trade. He is a 2 star NT who started most of the season last year for SD.
Just got back from my St Pattys Day weekend roadtrip and updated the Nix pick with a picture. I'm very glad he was there. I wanted to move back but there weren't any good offers. I really like what he can bring to my defense. I have smaller, more athletic LBs, so a big NT like Nix can help to keep them clean. This also allows me to move Bennie Logan around to play different spots along the DL, which I think really suits him. My DL has a ton of depth now, with Cox, Thornton, Nix, Logan, Thomas, and Pitoitua and my D as a whole is looking like a very strong unit.
With the 22nd pick of the 2014 NFL Draft, the Philadelphia Eagles select...

Louis Nix III, NT, Notre Dame
I haven't gotten any good offers so my pick will be up in 5.
My pick is for trade. I will make it in 2 hours if I don't get an offer I like.
Bryce Brown and Damion Square are available from the Eagles. The 22nd overall pick is also on the block.
Eagles looking to move down from 22. I have player picked out if I stay but would prefer to move down for more picks
seriously?
I think he's joking that's how we got Dumervil last year
He has a few different offers on the table from what I have heard from him.
Gotcha. I haven't been able to keep track
Is there a reason a pick hasn't been made yet?
I personally like Barr, but he is not near Mack in my opinion. I was only debating between Mack and Watkins.
Barr is slightly better against the run but Mack IMO is much better against the pass and a more natural pass rusher
I would rank Mack much higher than Barr. He has a chance to be a huge impact player. Smart with good instincts as well. Barr is good but I don't think as good as Mack. My opinion.
I do think Mack has a better rookie year but Barr is the better long term prospect imo. I can't fault anyone for picking either though, both are pro-bowl caliber guys
I'm not sold on Barr, personally.
His potential is through the roof. His production has been phenomenal considering he's only played the position for 2 years, and he's a great athlete. Mack is a great player too, don't get me wrong. Both are very high on my board. I do prefer Barr though.
Interesting pick. Mack is a hell of a player but I'm not sure he's the BPA. Hard to argue that he is the best team fit though. The only argument to be made is that Barr should be picked ahead of him but that's a matter of personal preference.
Eagles would like to trade down from 22 into the early 2nd for more picks. PM me if you want to move up.
Those two are in my top ten...
After that the rest of the pack is meh imho
Agreed, although I do think that if the Pats or the Colts add some pieces in the draft they could be very dangerous. The Ravens have a fairly strong core but they did give up some key pieces in this offseason for the sake of long term sustainability; they probably take a step back (from our usual lofty expectations) in the short term.
