  1. He misses a ton of blocks and has terrible balance. He has potential if he can get in shape and work hard on proper technique, but there is a good chance he is a complete bust imo.

Most of the tape I've seen has been good. He is dominant in the run game, although he does miss some blocks in the passing game. From what I can tell that's due to a lack of agility and heavy feet, something he should be able to improve upon in an NFL training program. I think you may be right about a bust possibility but he has a very high ceiling and is well worth the risk here IMO.

  2. Just got back from my St Pattys Day weekend roadtrip and updated the Nix pick with a picture. I'm very glad he was there. I wanted to move back but there weren't any good offers. I really like what he can bring to my defense. I have smaller, more athletic LBs, so a big NT like Nix can help to keep them clean. This also allows me to move Bennie Logan around to play different spots along the DL, which I think really suits him. My DL has a ton of depth now, with Cox, Thornton, Nix, Logan, Thomas, and Pitoitua and my D as a whole is looking like a very strong unit.

  3. I personally like Barr, but he is not near Mack in my opinion. I was only debating between Mack and Watkins.

Barr is slightly better against the run but Mack IMO is much better against the pass and a more natural pass rusher

I would rank Mack much higher than Barr. He has a chance to be a huge impact player. Smart with good instincts as well. Barr is good but I don't think as good as Mack. My opinion.

I do think Mack has a better rookie year but Barr is the better long term prospect imo. I can't fault anyone for picking either though, both are pro-bowl caliber guys

  4. Those two are in my top ten...

After that the rest of the pack is meh imho

Agreed, although I do think that if the Pats or the Colts add some pieces in the draft they could be very dangerous. The Ravens have a fairly strong core but they did give up some key pieces in this offseason for the sake of long term sustainability; they probably take a step back (from our usual lofty expectations) in the short term.
