  1. We already did, lol
  2. Ballhawker has been skipped, Easternshore is up
  3. I like Banks a lot. Don't forget he was the consensus #2 corner in the draft until he had a poor 40 time at the combine. 40 times are important for CBs, but that doesn't erase all of his great tape. I think Banks will be a very good #2 in a press coverage scheme.
  4. I think I know who you might be talking about. Young guy, lots of talent, but a big problem with drops?
  5. Thanks. There might have been better pass catchers left, but Fasano was the last guy who can really block and catch. He's a good redzone target too.
  6. I just got back from work, it is interesting to read the team evaluations. I'd like to make the case for my team as one of the better ones. My defense should be absolutely stifling. My pass rush is one of the best with Demarcus Ware, Chris Long, Marcel Dareus, Sam Acho, and Phillip Wheeler. When Bryant is included in that line it becomes very solid against the run. My secondary should hold up well with the pass rush. Leon Hall is a legit #1 corner and Desmond Trufant should be good as a press-man #2, with good safety play over top from Reggie Nelson. I do think my offense has some question marks, as Antonio Brown is my only real standout receiving threat. But Kaepernick, Stewart, and a very solid line should be good enough to keep defenses off balance and score more than enough points for my studly D to put games away.
  7. Yes, I think he has great polish on his routes and deceptive speed. Combine that with a good set of hands a knack for getting open in the redzone and I think he is an eventual pro-bowler at WR.
  8. Great pick in Woods. I expect him to be the best WR in this draft class
  9. Should be a Viking. He's better than a few guys who were taken rounds ago.
  10. I don't think that's true really, until last season he had only missed 2 games in his career, both with a concussion. He has had some foot injuries in his career but, with the exception of last season, it hasn't caused him to miss any action.
  11. Fair enough but I believe he was dealing with injuries for most of the season. They also had Williams and Tolbert stealing carries. I think he will be very effective in a read option offense with Kaepernick.
  12. I'm curious why you don't like him. He is a pretty well rounded back who can pass protect, catch, and run. His legs should be fresh from playing in a timeshare and he has shined when given the opportunity. He's had a 1000 yd season as a backup!
  13. I was joking. Of course I think my team is the best but everyone should think that. I definitely don't think there is 1 team that stands out as the best. What's wrong with Stewart starting? He has been fantastic whenever the Panthers give him the rock, but they insist on keeping DeAngelo William's and his bloated contract for who knows what reason. If Stewart had an opportunity to be feature back there is little doubt in my mind he would be a perennial Pro-Bowler. He is one of the 10 most talented backs in the league arguably.
  14. Mine's the best. Debate over lol
  15. Gamble didn't get cut, he retired unexpectedly. I had him in the mock offseason after trading Tony Moeaki, Jon Baldwin, and a 5th for him and caught some flack for it as he retired shortly after the trade. Luckily we decided that players who retired after we started were still active but I don't think that is the case here.
  16. I'm fine with that, as long as anyone who drafts a player who retires or gets cut and doesn't resign is afforded the same opportunity. For example, Rolando McClain or Chris Gamble
  17. To be fair I don't think Arizona uses Acho the right way. He is actually a very versatile player but if asked to be a primary pass rusher (as in AZ) he will struggle. The best thing about him is that he is just as comfortable dropping into coverage as he is rushing the passer and he is at least serviceable against the run. Because he is only my 3rd or 4th option rushing the pass I can use him in a more natural role as kind of a wildcard player in my defense and complementary pass rusher on 3rd downs. I think that role suits him a lot better than how AZ uses him.
  18. Bryant was very good in 2010, and a complete monster in 2011. Last year he was slowed with a foot injury all year, which you mentioned. He is apparently all healed up now. He is a bit one dimensional but that's ok. I have Ware, Dareus, Long, Acho, and even Wheeler to rush the passer. The only real run stuffer I have is Dareus and with a more athletic LB corps I need another big body up front to keep them clean. He is surprisingly athletic so I wouldn't be surprised to see him put up a few extra sacks with all of the attention OLs will pay to the rest of my front 7 studs.
  19. I would have been happy with the other guy but after some research I think Bryant is better for my scheme. The other guy is better in a pure 4-3 and Bryant is better in a hybrid. Having 2 big guys like Red and Dareus will allow Long to take on less double teams and play more as a Trevor Pryce-style 5-tech.
  20. Sorry guys, I got off work later than I expected. I will make my pick now
  21. Griffin has been pretty inconsistent in his career, but he's a good pick at this point in the draft.
