  1. Don't see why it would. They can pick who they want regardless if they know of who anyone else wants or not.
  2. There's no point in doing them separately. The highest ordered person who wants them will get them. It will ultimately be the exact same principle as the random drawing.
  3. Agreed. I don't know what masochist would want to deal with that cap though
  4. So can you post the order or is the CoCo still deliberating?
  5. Doesn't that kinda defeat the purpose of it? Maybe a 6 hour window for the picks instead of 24, but there shouldn't be a problem with team selection taking a while since the CoCo is still gonna take that time to work out the rules anyway and people are going to take time for their state of the franchise pages.
  6. As long as I am first then I think its fair
  7. CoCo, I believe the people have spoken lol
  8. Cool. BTW this site http://www.random.org/sequences/ will give us what we want. Just enter 1 as the lower limit and 32 as the upper limit.
  9. Exactly, let's get it done. It's the only thing that's fair to everyone. I'll message SAM about a process for it.
  10. So we aren't doing the generator and draft? If we were doing it that way then why would we wait til Saturday? Once we get the order we should start right away and everyone should be given 24 hours to pick a team.
  11. That was my idea yea. It's the most fair and efficient way to do it IMO.
  12. No I mean as the number that we use in the random number generator that determines our pick
  13. Why not just use the number that represents the order we signed up?
  14. Since we are full let's get the ball rolling tonight. We don't have to pick teams but let's at least figure out how we are going to pick and if we do go the route of a randomly ordered "team draft", let's assign those spots and start picking.
  15. I'd say no trading assets for teams as it would give an unfair advantage to certain players for simply winning a random drawing.
  16. I'm against team assignments but I like the idea of an ordered team selection. Better than having milliseconds decide who gets who like last year.
  17. I've thought about them, didn't make my top 3 but they would be interesting.
  18. With almost $70 mil in cap space they might actually be in high demand this year
  19. That could be very interesting but I'd be lying if I said I wouldn't be very salty if I ended up with Cowboys/Saints or Steelers/Pats
  20. That wouldn't be fair, we all have to have equal access to the 31 teams other than the Ravens.
  21. It's just picking our teams, we aren't starting the mock or anything. Isn't that we have the other 6 members of the CoCo?
  22. This is why we should do it tomorrow
  23. Until then, hey, why not give your kicker a 7 year extension? I read on Grantland that there are, I think, 9 players signed through 2020 and the cowboys have 3 of them (Romo, Lee, Bailey). Between that statistic and taking a 3rd round Center in the 1st I think Jerry Jones may be possessed by the soul of Al Davis.
  24. How are the Cowboys gonna get under the cap in real life without something like that one basically free cut? Almost all of their guys with big cap numbers have even bigger dead money figures than salary figures. It seems impossible.
  25. Just for reference, my proposal for contract matching was that teams that had already used their franchise tag may match the contracts of up to 3 players who are signed away in UFA. I also like the idea of using post June 1 cuts, but does spotrac have info that would tell us the difference between the figures between 6/1 cuts and regular cuts? If not, this site has a pretty cool cap calculator feature, although there are some errors as to who is still under contract.
