We'll the team was dismantled last year so you couldn't do it then. We won the first 3 games so he probably did want to do it at that time either. The last two games was lost because of the offense failing to move the ball effectively when we had both chances to close out the game. We literally gave the skins and raiders the game both weeks on offense. That was the kicker. Joe doesn't have enough time to pass because teams know what is coming. Go back to Skins game and watch those blocks in the running game. Our offensive line was pushing them back no problem and opening lanes to run. We were 3-1 and Harbaugh was probably hoping Trestman would adjust his style and after the loss realized it's not happening. Joe's not perfect but he is a Superbowl winning QB and has won a lot of games against the Steelers and Patriots during his time here. Trestman was almost trying to get fired so he could get more money. Wasn't a fit here since day one.

Agreed. Ravens have always been physical. Joe can be pretty good when we need a play late in a game but he's never won throwing 50 times a game.

Normally I'd be more reluctant to expect big results from a mid season coaching change but in this case it was almost as if Trestman was trying to get fired. The past 2 games I watched pass after pass go nowhere and he completely abandoned the run game when it was having success. I truly feel a more balanced approach in the same system will yield an offense that can win games with our defense. I disagree with the excuse we threw it 45-50 times because we were down. Both games were close. These weren't games where we were down by 3 scores and needed to get fast points. Also that would require throwing down field. I also feel like the deep passes and play action will be much more effective if we keep teams honest. Teams knew we were passing so the play action was basically useless. This situation was more than fans coaching from the couch. The players saw what was happening as well. Lets hope they go out and prove it so we can get back to winning football games.
