Imagine literally all of us in here, our mouths would drop to the floor. I REALLY want to see the look on everyone's faces if we do. LOL, just makes me smile ear to ear with this possibility.
Another thing that happened was the gigantic hurricane that ripped through the east coast

derek carr gets the ball out very quick and accurately and is easily the best QB we've faced so far and its not even close.
True beans, I understand the fear, especially after what the team did to us last year.
You do realize this team is the number two overall defense in the league right?, Against teams that have been putting up 30 points a game since like the bills and browns, i honestly believe that this game has the formula for a blowout, in our favor, the raiders have the last ranked defense, they are coming cross country, also not to mention we got players this week coming back healthy. If the O can catch fire then this game gets ugly fast against the raiders, they arent facing a crappy defense like they did last year. I trust the defense to get the job done, the only question is the offense, if they can catch fire this game is in the bag.
The number two defense in the NFL vs the number two offense this ougtha be interesting.
IT really brings the old pride out doesn't it :). You know whats better all superbowl contenders have really good defenses.
Listen i will take winning ugly over 5-11 seriously

Exactly he is not even that bad.
LOL i am more of a chicken guy to be honest
Popeyes to be exact
WE all seem to forget that jeremy zuttah was brought in to replace the hapless shipley and gradkowski, lets not forget that. Lets also not forget our O line changed for the better when we brought him in, our run game got better pass protection vastly improved, and we had a 10-6 season. Zuttah has been a huge factor in the ravens success up front the last few seasons, granted yes he is off to a rough start, i feel he just needs time to settle in. Lets not forget also that KO left this last offseason, so its going to take some time for everybody to get back in sync with one another. Just give him a chance i am sure everything will be fine down the later parts of the season i am quite sure of it.

LOL it just seems that everybody is writing this game off is all
The browns always play us tough, the browns maybe a crappy boxer, but a boxer nonetheless, a boxer who gets up after getting his behind whooped and lays a punch back, that is who the browns are. They don't quit, they give it their all every game.

Griffin played like trash, their secondary got touched up by Carson Wentz and a no name receiving corps..they couldn't stop the run either.
I'm calling it now, Ravens 35 Brownies 9
Then you obviously don't watch ravens and browns games, this one especially is going to be tough
Moderators might shout, but this thread should be for posting our exciting ideas for opening day, what do you guys plan to do?. Share it here.

LOL good one brother
Honestly im taking these reports with a grain of salt, i wont be convinced these guys are ready to play until they actually step foot on the field and wont be injured for the first down they play. Especially with the type of season we had, im just taking the cautious stance here, no reason given not to.
This is what Barney Stinson would call the chain of screaming.. But here's the NFL version.
First, the owner complains and screams at Ozzie.
Ozzie then screams at Harbaugh
Harbaugh screams back at Ozzie
Ozzie cuts a player.
That player essentially screams at the fans.
The replacement sucks. The fans go back and scream at Ozzie, because "we pay the bills"
And then a certain group of fans subscribes to that notion and then scream at you guessed it.. Steve Biscotti.
And that is the circle of screaming
LOL that is actually very true.
He probably will. He's not a greedy guy. In fact, he kind of lacks a personality in all totality. I think even he knows that it would be necessary for him to take less in order for the team to be good. And even if you cut $5 million a year from his salary. He's making more than I will in 12 lifetimes.
That's not my point though. We are going to have cuts, but we'll cut the fat. We won't miss most of the guys I have proposed(except for Forsett and possibly Webb), and we'd have a good heap of money.
Oh, I can play that game too.
"Tucker gone? How do you know that will happen. Come on man".
Do an equivalency of a scan clean pretty much, we had invisible bright spots this year. Tight ends, O line believe it or not i don't think we should cut monroe, he hasn't been as bad as everyone thinks he has been.
i hope so too, but the defense is 10th overall that isn't going to happen
Cut kyle arrington, chris canty, dennis pitta, then we should have some cap room available to sign some good players. We also have the luxery of having the top 10 pick for the first time in over a decade last time we had it we picked sizzle, im not worried about that, obviously restructure joe, as well. We need to create cap room and most importantly DO NOT BLOW this chance at the top 10 pick, this is a rare opportunity the ravens hardly get. Im obviously on the jalen ramsay bandwagon, but im open to bosa or hargraves. Ozzie isn't great drafting offense, he is better looking for offensive talent in the offseason, I hope he doesn't draft offense god help us then. We can't waste this we haven't drafted this high in a long time.
Man its hard to have alot of energy for this team, i still love them and follow them forever. But wow, this time last year we were talking playoffs, 7-4 and on our way to a good year once again. This year is a real kick in the nuts, sorry for the language but what else is there to say. Its difficult to get excited during gameday, its hard to want to follow, but i still do. Because im a loyal fan, that wont change.
8-8 is a bump in the road, 2-7 is something else entirely. We shouldnt tolerate this, yeah we got a good foundation, im not saying get rid of that, i already stated the players that should stay. Those players are our bright spots, lets face it if we dont wipe the hard drive. Then its time to do a scan clean alot of people are leaving after this year. It shouldnt be anything less than that, forgot to mention j tuck, he can stay. Outside of the foundation and the players named prepare for a purge.
That's the type of overreaction that will keep us picking in the top 5 for the next 5-8 years. We have a very good foundation in place and a good draft coupled with some salary cap space should allow us to get right back to where we belong.
As for Jimmy, he is still recovering from a devastating injury that is especially hard for skill position players to recover from. He is young and has proven to us he can be an effective corner.
Who hasnt been bad this year, i want you to think about it, these players i say we should keep, are the foundation you are talking about. Not sure what other players you see that make up our foundation?.

The few games will make or break the ravens, first the 7-1 cowboys, then the team we have been struggling against for 2 years the Cincinnati bengals, then the up and coming Philadelphia eagles, and then finally at the peak of the mountain we have the new england patriots. These games are going to be T-O-U-G-H, im not joking here folks. This is going to be a wild ride of really tough football teams at a crucial point of the season. How many of these games are winnable?. Will we lose them all?, will we win them all?, will we win 1 out of 4?, or will we win 3 out of 4. This is excluding the dolphins of course, but in no way we should blow them off. What do you guys thing, your thoughts?.
