  1. The board didn't work in our favor for offensive purposes this year. It seemed every time we were on the clock an offensive player of need (with the exception of Howard) got taken. So would you rather reach out of draft position, or take the what fell to us? It's not like we stockpiled dbs or positions we didn't need. I like all the picks so far. Would it have been nice to get that offensive playmaker yea but like said we are a rebuilding team. I believe we can still compete this year, truly contend next.
  2. Yea Dixon was my favorite pick in the draft. Now if we could just draft a replacement for Zuttah and another big corner opposite Jimmy we could be ready to make a push.
  3. Looking like a great draft from Ozzie. See 3 studs already in Stanley, Pierce and Young. Then Lewis, Dixon, Judon have shown a lot of promise as well while on the field. If no one else panned out from this draft that's 6 starters right there. But I still have hope for Correa and we haven't even seen Kaufusi yet.
  4. Pretty standard where? Back Sebas up and make him kick a 45 yarder instead? Hes one of the best in the game you dont do that with how shaky our secondary is. Horrible call. Going for 2 that early as well. We get that one point we're driving to win instead of driving not to lose
  5. Harbaugh still one of the most overrated coaches. The accepted penalty killed us Edit: and going for 2 that early, smh
  6. And that's the difference between backs like Forsett and Dixon. Dixon often makes the first man miss so those no gainers will look like 2 yards and 2 yarders like 5. If he's healthy of course we will still see a difference. Don't forget the big play factor as well.
  7. Probably gonna be a choice between him and Brandon Williams. Hopefully Pierce can fill that B Will void so we can keep Timmy.
  8. Oh it hurts for sure, lol but nothing too big to worry about
  9. Could just be fatigue from his first real action or as simple as getting a kick to the calf. Sky doesn't have to fall for everything
  10. Even if these are jokes that's kinda messed up. Its not like he's Campanaro, he's actually been facing serious injuries
  11. The first team didnt do too much deep, thats where I expect Wallace to really make his impact. All the underneath stuff Aiken and SS will get the load of
  12. Gotta say Im really looking forward to seeing what Chris Moore can do this week. I think he'll be the surprise of this draft class.
  13. Great post. The league is changing, if anything we were one of the last teams to try and adapt. That's why we're behind at the moment.
  14. Wonder who we go after with this 6.5 mil now, trade possibilities?
  15. This is just if we were looking to trade one, I think he's the one we would get the most value out of. But I wouldn't mind any duo of Williams Gilmore and Boyle going into the future.
  16. I keep Maxx at all costs and let Boyle and Waller continue to develop this year while Watson and Pitta get the load. If the market is out there for Crockett this is the time to get value for him.
  17. Why so many negs on OP, do yall think objectively or just based on faith everything will be perfect? (Which it won't) Agreed with a lot of the draft grades which showed to be a very solid draft. Looking at the pick you have to be utterly biased not to believe Correa has the most bust potential. His size, where he got picked, the fact we picked 2 pass rushers who look immediately better after him? He'll have to show the most out of all our rookies which I don't think he'll live up to. Dixon too was my favorite pick, Allen last year. I honestly think Forsett should be on the bubble cus I want to see both of these dudes A LOT. Lineup wise I don't think Pitta should be cut unless his play shows he doesn't have it anymore. Stanley should start at LG until ready to takeover for Monroe cus I think Wagner will bounce back. This was a very good offseason by Oz and co and I dont think we're done yet. This team is 11 win, deep playoff material.
  18. In goes Daniel Brown out goes Marlon Brown
  19. Probably easy to forget about him but Tali was growing into a starting back before injuries. I expect both of them to spilt touches and be our duo for the future
  20. So a defensive end would fix all of our troubles right now
  21. While I agree with most of this, Flacco isn't as good a qb as most Ravens fans make him out to be. With a team lacking leaders since Ed and Ray retired there's no reason why he shouldn't be the voice of this team. He could use more time in the film room, and if he is putting in that work it isn't evident in a lot of his reads and choices of audibles. In fact I think his accuracy and arm strength make a good number of his throws that aren't open look like good throws. Maybe that's due to the fact he doesn't organize off season workouts with just him and his receivers, which I also think is unacceptable for an 8th year quarterback (yes injuries have played a huge part). With that said I do believe Flacco is a good qb that can make that step to be a great one. However he is holding himself back.
  22. I wouldn't call not being able to close games luck, I blame our defense though cus the offense is playing with camp body recievers
  23. Can't do anything about that. Picking a good 10-15 picks earlier each round though gives us a higher chance of landing the players that would usually be gone when we select.
  24. Because my view point differs from yours? Like it or not we're a team that is in need of a rebuild year. A top ten pick could put us back into contention. Especially if Smitty and Suggs are done.
  25. I've played sports and I still disagree. No team gets better through mediocrity, if we finish 8-8 this was a lost season.
