With the Ravens up by 2 Webb jumped a route and tipped a pass leading to Orr's game winning Int. My question is, what type of game did Pees call and does anyone have issue with his end of game play calling?
I know the pass rush wasn't getting home early in the game, but came alive in the 4th quarter. What was the reason? Also I know KC played more defensive snaps and got his hands on a ball, was in playing due to injury or was he apart of the game plan.
Also, to hold the Jags to 4 yards, 2 ints and a blocked FG in the 4th quarter is huge. So can anyone help me out, how did the D and Pees look?
Defense was phenomenal outside of Shareece Wright. Wish we could collapse the pocket a little more but other than that, can't complain. Linebackers were the stars of the game.
Lol I knew it was only a matter of time
Lol there it is.
Chargers usually find ways to lose games like this
This is turning into a great week for the Ravens.
How many over throws have we seen from Flacco today? How many catches did Perriman drop today? How many holes were opened up in the run game? But some how some way, its Tresmans the players aren't executing fault? Please explain the logic.

Lol ahhhh the old jinx technique.
I gave up after the first interception. How in the hell did we win?
4 minutes ago, Ravensuperfan1 said:too many holes in our swiss cheese defense
There's only 1 huge hole on the Defense. Its called Shareece Wight. He's terrible.
Shareece Wrong should not be in the NFL. he is GARBAGE.
Shareece Wright is trash.

Your right. I blame Tresman for Perriman dropping that catch, and for Flacco over throwing Wallace
Just now, JO_75 said:This is just crazy, Trestman's play calling is killing us offensively.
Lol sarcasm?

Wright looks great but I freak out everytime they throw Jimmy's way. Also, too many flags are thrown because of him. I say rest him for at least a game and let's look at another one of these DB's.
Are you from the Russell Street Reports forum? Because reading that board you would think Jimmy was the worst CB in the league. It's absolutely ridiculous how they trash Jimmy in that forum board.

Shutting down cleavland in quarters 2,3,4 was great by the defense
The bad :where is buck allen we need to move forsett to the bench its a run committee right so since forsett was terrible two weeks in a row that means he sits right? Omg we need dixon back. Please sit justin and give allen a chance, West is fine!
JOE tighten up please youve got to spread the ball around
The Ugly: defense What the heck? happened really you give ip 20 in first quarter?
Look we got lucky had that been New England or Carolina wed have been toast
Is it Webb in the middle is that the problem?
Good win hopefully good learning experience
Webb was late with his coverage responsibilities in a lot of plays. That's unacceptable. The first TD to Coleman, im pretty sure he was suppose to have coverage over the top. I am a huge Webb fan, but he can't continue to be late with help in coverage. He is the key on whether the secondary is great, or average.

Ravens top graded players against Browns
RT Ricky Wagner 86.3
TE Dennis Pitta 85.2
S Eric Weddle 84.8
G Marshal Yanda 82.9
I didn't think Wagner played that well.
Didn't really get beat at all in pass protection. But I didn't pay attention to his run blocking though
Realistically, that blocked extra point was the play of the game. Without those two points the score would be 23 - 20 and the Browns would only need to kick the FG to tie it up and send it to overtime.
Terrence West needs to be the starter ASAP. Sorry but Forsett is looking pretty old out there. Dude can't break arm tackles if his life depended on it. West generates positive yards atleast. Also I don't know what to make of this win. Did we play clutch? Or did we win a game that shouldn't have been close? I'm so confused right now lol.
Someone tell me how Wright went from MVP to worst player on the field. Also Ravens D was PUNISHING McClown all game long.
Horrible news. As someone who lost their mother to cancer last year, I know the pain the Brooks family is going through. My heart goes out to them. Rest in peace CB. You will be missed.
I miss Gary Kubiak.

That's a good point. Didn't see many stretch runs .
6 minutes ago, BmoreBird22 said:I love how people were freaking out over Jimmy for allowing four catches for a whole 46 yards (for a long of 19).
Understand a few things first off. Jimmy was locked up 1v1 with Watkins without safety help. The safeties were rotated away from Jimmy to help Wright and Young. Jimmy also allowed three receptions on one or two drives in the third when the pass rush was non existent. So, essentially, Jimmy locked down Watkins for three and a half quarters. I'd stop complaining if I were you all.
Also, it isn't up to Pees to tell the corners how far off to play or Trestman to tell the receivers how far to run their breaking routes. The players decide that. Don't blame Pees or Trestman for that.
Anyway, after a few miscues by Stanley, he played really well given the expectations. Mike Wallace has a real rapport with Joe Flacco, so that was really great to see. The run defense was dynamite up the middle with a few things to work on off the edge. Eric Weddle had a really great game for his first as a Raven.
The only real bad things I could see were 1. The edge of the defense couldnt stop the run or rush the passer for the second and third quarters. When Koandijo came in, I expected the Ravens to feast, but they seemed to regress. Also, Joe Flacco is clearly working his way back with unwillingless to run, but the mechanics weren't that great. He was throwing flat footed and his throws all seemed really low because he wasn't driving through them by stepping in.
No ugly when you win opening week.
MVP was Shareece Wright for sure.
I agree 100% about Jimmy Smith. He played very well considering who he was covering all day.
A lot of missed sacks. But the good thing is not every QB is Tyrod Taylor. Next week I say we get about 5 sacks
