  1. I know, right. How pathetic. Football is more important than his kids, eductation or continuing to get his life together.

^^ LOL at my mispelling of "education"....fail...

Also like how you got negged for stating what SHOULD be obvious to anyone over the age of 11. If the guy thinks other things are more important to him than football, I say more power to him. I wish I were able to retire at 24 and enjoy life.

Haha I got negged? Oh well, I guess people care more about there football team rather than life. I love the Ravens but I know the difference between a game and life.

  2. It's concerning though how dramatically his play dropped off in the second half last year, given his age.

Did he get hurt again, did teams adjust or has he hit the wall?

He was playing through a neck injury he got in practice. Don't know if it stayed with him since then but since he got it his play declined big time.

  3. If anything they're almost like the 2006 defense in terms of league dominance at their time... But the game has evolved into more passing since then. Maybe 2011 Steelers or Ravens defenses. Now that I think more about it, Seahawks d isn't even close to 06

I only said 2008 Steelers because they was pretty much #1 across the board in every category like the Seahawks are this year. And if the Seahawks hold Peyton to 5 FG like we did in 2006 then we may be able to compare them together.

  4. Would you guys compare the Seahawks defense more to the 2000 Ravens defense or the 2008 Steelers defense. I was reading other forums and people were trying to compare the Seahawks to the 85 Bears and the 2000 Ravens. They don't deserve to be mentioned in the same breath. There more like the 2008 Steelers to me.

  5. He is, no doubt, but physically, Torrey and Brown are equal. The Steelers utilize Brown's speed the same way we should utilize Torrey's speed. Brown gets a lot of quick slants, screens, and hitches, but Torrey doesn't.

Well Brown is the better route runner by far. Brown is a #1 receiver while Torrey is a VERY good number 2.

  6. They weren't so close to a championship, they'd have to win the SEC Championship first, and that should theoretically be a tough game too.  Their kicker missed multiple kicks, it wasn't the heart breaking dropped TD for the win followed by a shank for the loss.  It's not a valid comparison.

UCLA-USC is getting really chippy really fast.  That OL punched a dude in the face.

so missing a kick and watching them run it back for a TD in the final seconds wasn't as heart breaking for bama fans as the dropped pass was for us?
