Not trying to quote anyone. But I know this won't be a popular opinion but Deion Jones is very overrated in my eyes. When I watch his tape, yea he's as athletic as they come. But he won't make any impact in the run game what so ever. And for all that athletic ability he will get abused in the nfl because he gets lost way to often for my liking. He's far from a sure tackler as well as he missed way too many tackles. Honestly reminds me of another Arthur Brown, athletic but doesn't know what to do on the field. I would rather take a chance on a instinctive Linebacker like a Scooby Wright. When healthy he's one of the best all around Linebackers in the nation. Like a Zac Thomas or even a Vontaze Burfict, not the fastest but always one of the smartest on the field. You can't teach that. Watch his game tape from his sophomore season and tell me I'm wrong. Keep in mind he was playing injured his junior year.

Agree 100%. Watched a lot of film on him and I just don't see the hype. He has size and speed but doesn't have the knowledge to utilize them right. Another CB I heard of is one out of Northwestern Nick Vanhoose. Watched a little film on him and he reminds me a little of Asante Samuel. Breaks on routes and jumps them better than anyone else in this draft class, and is a play maker.

Here's a question for everyone. If Tunsil ends up falling to us with the 6th pick but VH3 and Buckner or Jack are still available, who do we pick? I'm not a fan of going offensive line in the first, but Tunsil is another animal.

I agree having Elam at linebacker is a bad idea. But I'm not opposed to someone like a Nick Perry switching, or drafting someone like Cravens in the second or third. We need speed and coverage ability at that position.

Not trying to quote anybody, this thread is messed up. But anyway, I'm hearing that we may be converting one of our Safeties to linebacker to play next to CJ. If this is true then who would we convert? Does anyone think Matt Elam would be able to make the transition?

I'll choose to look at it like this, Weddle is a upgrade over Hill. And Webb is a upgrade over Lewis.

Webb was one on the best tacklers on the team actually. But I still don't agree with this move at all.

Ok as big of a Webb fan I am, this if unbelievably stupid to keep him over Hill. Heck it it even more stupid to keep Lewis over Hill. I mean I'm at a loss for words here. We didn't even try and trade him? We get nothing in return? Has Ozzie lost his freaking mind? You can't rely on Webb to be available for 16 games man. I'm a big fan of his but I'm not a blind fan. Ozzie has some explaining to do with this one. This off-season went from an A+ to a C. Freaking unbelievable man.

Don't forget Jimmy played great the second half of the season too. I read an article on here that during the final 8 games he was the 6th best corner in the league.

We have a lot of speed at receiver with Perriman and Wallace now. Plus Smitty and the TEs we have, Flacco will be in heaven now.

My guess is Pees will be feeling the heat since we brought in other coaches on defense " cough cough his replacements". So he might be forced to think outside of his box for once and do something different. Atleast I hope.
