  1. Has anyone watched Kamalei Correa? Junior from Boise State. Plays DE and seems to have a knack for getting in the backfield. Haven't heard much buzz around him but word is he's getting second-day grades and sounds likely to enter the draft. He's a bit under-sized at 6' 3" and ~250lbs, but seems to have great speed and surprising power along with some promise in coverage. I like what I've seen from him so far

  2. wouldnt make sense to move back 1 spot Bc that team would know that we aren't drafting a quarterback and they could just stay put. Maybe a few spots if another qb needy team is in between.

Cleveland knew that Minnesota wasn't going to take Richardson with them having AD on the roster but they moved up so that way no one else could jump ahead of them and take Richardson

  3. the way ogbah has been rising, i find it hard to believe we could trade back and realistically see a chance to get him. i would almost be surpised if he fell to 8th, he appears to be the consensus 2nd ranked edge rusher, some teams may prefer lawson but i couldnt imagine that many do.

i think ogbah is a blue chip prospect, and i think you can remove nkemdiche and stanley from that list, thats all subjective though, i cant remember who stanley struggled against recently but it highlighted some concerns of his and has made me doubt him, and nkemdiche has a ton of flaws that i think pro scouts will struggle to overlook.

bold statement here, but i think there is a VERY solid chance that ogbah ends up going before stanley or nkemdiche.

Ogbah is right on the edge of that list. If we're sitting there and both QBs are still on the board with Ogbah I think that we might be able to move back, even just 1 spot to a team that wants their guy. What did Cleveland give Minnesota for Richardson? A 4,5, and 7 just to make sure no one else jumped them?

  4. I think the "blue-chip" elite players this year are Bosa, Nkemdiche, Hargreaves, Ramsey, Stanley, and Tunsil. Looks like we might be on the edge of that range and chances of us grabbing one are very slim, however if someone grabs Paxton/Goff then we've got a shot.

If the season ended today and we were picking 8th I'd be fine with either of the tackles, top 5, I think we can get Bosa, Hargreaves, Ramsey, or get a good haul to trade back and grab ourselves an Ogbah while having an extra second or potentially extra first next year

  5. I love Myles Jack and he's my guy and all. I would love to have him here. That said, I think it's very unlikely he plays 3-4 OLB for us. He's just not built like that, IMO. That would be like asking, I dunno, Mosley to be a 3-4 OLB. He could probably be a good pass rusher up the A, but I don't really want to rely on A-gap pressure to generate consistent pressure.

Exactly. I think Jack is going to be a stud where ever he goes, but us drafting two ILB in the first round in three years is a luxury pick. I think the only way we can think about him is as a trade back guy

  6. So what is the deal on Carl Lawson? He's really grown on me and I don't see any decent grades on him. He looks like a real 3-4olb, standup, 3point, burst off the snap, shedding, pursuit, athletic and physical, prototype build, I don't get why he is getting no Buzz

Isn't he the red shirt sophomore out of Auburn?

He missed all of 2014 with an injury and 6 games this year as well. When he's on the field he's one of the most gifted pass rushers I've seen in a while. It is a big if as to when he's on the field it seems

  7. I've been begging to get Jack since last year, and the idea of getting him would make me jump like Forsett after the win. He wasn't asked to rush the passer at UCLA so we're not sure how effective he could be at rushing the passer. He has the athleticism and football IQ to excel, but it's an unknown whereas a guy like Ogbah we know can rush.

  8. I think if the Ravens fall to the 9-13 range, Ogbah, Shaq Laweson, and if he fell a bit, Stanley would be the obvious favorites. However, Myles Jack and Mackensie Alexander would be two really good players to get at this range as well.

Jack is too much a luxery pick for a team with so many needs like us. He makes a great second rounder though

  9. The drop off at FS after Ramsey isn't huge per say. I think this safety class is stacked. I really like some of the guys in the mid-later rounds. Vonn Bell, Darian Thompson, Jamal Adams, and Jeremy Cash has each caught my eye, especially Vonn Bell. If anyone here hasn't check him out they really should. The guy can ball.

Likewise, I look at this CB class and the drop off in talent after Hargreaves is apparent. I've cooled down on plenty of guys and while I like Kendall Fuller, you have to think whether that injury will affect his stock and whether or not the guy will return to school.

I think Hargreaves and Ramsey are neck and neck, I think it really depends on how we conduct our offseason.

I guess I didn't make myself clear since this is about what I was trying to say. I think Hargreaves vs. Ramsey is splitting hairs, whereas CB class vs Safety class is clearly skewed with much more talent at safety

  10. I'm opposite, while I think Ramsey is a great prospect I prefer the latter in Hargreaves. I think I'll stay that way barring any major injury to Hargreaves. While Ramsey is a great prospect, I really like the safety class this year and I think this is a strong class of safeties. Man, I really like Vonn Bell, he looks really legit. I really think he can be a great player. While I look at this CB class and I'm honestly not impressed. I feel that if we don't get Ramsey, then we can say, "Hey, there's some good prospects there". While the same can't be said about CB, I feel that even though the decision if up to F.O, I think we would go with Hargreaves over Ramsey.

I have come to the point where I think that Ramsey and Hargreaves are nearly the same as far as prospective talent in my eyes,  with me actually preferring Ramsey over Hargreaves in a vacuum. Looking at the DB class as a whole, I would have to agree with you in saying Hargreaves is the better option for us. Bell, Joseph, and King all look like guys to me that could fill in and be more serviceable than a corner we could get in the position that we could get those guys.

  11. I'm so godamn sick of people talking about trading back. Trade back for what? Anyone who has seen us play no we lack talent. How many comp picks are we going to get this year? 20? 30?. Enough is enough, we have enough picks. Pick the best player available

Trade back for a future 1 as well as get a high 1 this year. There's just enough "elite talent" at the top this year to be able to move back and still get someone. We're not talking about moving back ten spots and adding a 2 & 3.

  12. Yeah. Honestly, I want Ogbah, but I won't be mad if we take Tunsil with our first and Boyd with our second. It wouldn't help the defense per se, but it would mean that the offense could maybe stay on the field longer and not put the defense out there. I really want Hargreaves and Ogbah the most, but I think it's unlikely we get both and only get one.

Then again, Castillo typically makes the best of late-round players, so who knows what'll happen.

At the risk fo high-jacking this thread, late round linemen I really like include Taylor Marz and Evan Boehm

  13. I'm honestly not sure why I mentioned them here, to your credit. I probably got my threads mixed up. I'm just hoping we get someone good at this point. A bit saddened by the loss of Joe, honestly.

Silver linings my friend. With Joe I still held out hope for us winning some games. I seriously doubt Schaub will come in and be good for more than 1 win nearly cementing our place in the top 5 of the draft and setting us up for Boyd in the secon

  14. That's not true at all but if it bothers you then you're welcome to block me. It won't hurt my feelings.

Although I do wonder why I felt the need to bring them up in this thread myself. I guess I got confused on threads.

I find it humorous. They're some of my favorite players in this draft and I look forward to talking about just about every prospect you bring up

  15. Maybe I'm just high off recent video, but man, Ogbah is really talented and he reminds me of Mack to Bosa's Clowney. Not saying that Bosa isn't a good prospect (I didn't like Clowney, but I do like Bosa) but more or less making the comparison that I think Ogbah could be a surprisingly gifted pass rusher that's somewhat overlooked due to one player's (Bosa) dominance at that position and being hyped up as the consensus top guy.

I wouldn't mind us drafting Ogbah with our first pick & getting Boyd with our second pick. It wouldn't solve CB but man would it set up this team for some success.

You find a way to talk about Bosa/Ogbah in every thread

  16. I wouldn't trade him. You can never have too many pass-rushers and he's an excellent one. Not to mention he's great insurance for Suggs.

I think it makes him more expendable if the price is right. I don't think we should trade down, but of course if the price is right
