Depending on how high we finish I think it might be feasible to grab him with our second pick, or at least be in a position where trading up to get him would require a kings ransom

If Jack is who you're referring to as someone that we could take due to injury related fall, I'm all on board. Bosa and Jack could/would be studs to build on for years and put us back on track for the dominate defense Baltimore has come to be known for

There's no way we're tanking. I think we'd have a new coach before that happens. I more so want to see us make an aggressive move up to get him. Regardless I think next year with Chubb and Fournette it should be fun to see where they go

Josh Doctson seems to be on the rise for good reason. Assuming DJ Foster shows decent hands he looks like a good candidate later in the draft

Personally I'd like to see us pass on RB this year and go all in on Fournette next year. 99.9% sure it's just a pipe dream of mine though

I think with some of our pieces aging, the switch to a 4-3 is a good idea for next season once Pees leaves. Granted our LB depth will be thin, but isn't quality depth an issue with us as is? Move back in the first and grab Jack and poof Mosely Brown Jack Suggs-Jerningan/Davis Williams-Dumerville Also puts Brown back in the 43 where he looked pretty darn good in college.

In the early years, the Ravens ran a dominant 4-3 defense with Ray Lewis patrolling the middle with Sam Adams and Goose eating offensive linemen. If it is doom and gloom like some folks predict and some of the older pieces in the 3-4 (Suggs) aging, why not consider switching back to the 4-3?

Unless the Bears are willing to give up a Jeffery for a fourth, it's not going to happen. People see it as a rental, but you also have to remember that the salary cap is projected to jump about 17 million next year, so we could potentially have cap space to re-sign him once the season ends. Our playoff hopes are still high with a record of 3-4 at week 7 and a crap ton of home games to finish the season, which is why I would be ok with giving up a 4 for a guy like Jeffery would could come in and make an impact for us and get us back to the playoffs and beyond

Jack is a special talent, and while I'd love to see him in purple, it would be much more of a BPA luxury pick, and not a need pick. Myles is a terrific athlete, but watching the tape the thing you see missing from his game is a pass rush, which is something we definitely need. It's not that I don't think Jack can't do it, but he was never asked to do it at UCLA. There are plenty of points on tape you see him setting the edge, or covering a slot receiver, but you don't see him get after the QB very often. While it would be great to see him be able to get after the QB and rotate with Suggs and Dumerville, I think he either projects as a 43 OLB, or an ILB on our 3-4. As far as his decision, it is certainly risky, but with Gurley last year, we have seen teams take a risk on guys who miss their last year due to injury. Jack also came in as an impact player his freshmen year giving scouts 2 good years of tape to watch. Unless we bomb the season, I don't think he'll be in a range that we can take him without moving up

Please read all of this post before immediately downvoting and ridiculing me. I think Harbaugh's time with the team is up. Not that he isn't a good coach, but I think in sports players get tired of hearing the same message from the same voice day-in and day out. There are very few coaches in my mind that can motivate a team year in and year out. He has done great things for the team during his tenure, however there have been stories of unrest with the team in regards to Harbaugh, between the "mutiny" a few years ago, and his "mottos" in the past. While I appreciate all he has done for the team, I think his message has grown stale resulting in the team just looking lackluster and leading to our disappointing start

CBS just came out with a mock (way too early to count for anything) that had the top 3 corners off the board, and us taking Zeke Elliot at the 13th pick with Treadwell and Myles Jack still on the board. I'd rather have either of the of the other two over zeke. Out of those 3 who would you rather have?

I've actually been saying this since the year we won the super bowl, I'm not saying Harb's hasn't been excellent, I just don't think he's one of the few great coaches that can get the best out of their team year after year.

When the Browns are better of than us at a position group, you know we're in trouble. WR, CB, and OLB are killing these past 2 games, and I don't see that changing. I know injuries have eliminated Perriman and Suggs, but it goes to show we have no depth behind our guys. No, this is the second forum he's posted about ILB, doubtful it's a typo twice

Anyone that loves the game of football is/should be devastated, I think he's that kind of guy. I think Gurley would have slipped further (to the chargers), but everyone knows how much Jeff Fisher loves to run the ball.

Myles Jack injured his knee and will miss the remainder of the season at UCLA. If he declares this year for the draft does it cause him to slip enough for us to grab him? Thinking everyone on here knows him already

Corey Robinson is an intriguing guy out of Notre Dame, not sure if he'll declare. 6' 5" with what seems to be decent enough hands, and should run around 4.5 at the combine.

Just because there's not competition for the starting job doesn't mean that Schaub and Joe can't compete. Not the same sport, but in 1984 Larry Nance beat Julius Erving in the slam dunk contest. They were competing, but no one is saying that Nance is the better play.
