  1. I think it turns more into a rotation between Suggs, Doom, and Bosa where Bosa stays on the field the majority of the time. Possibly making Dumerville tradable if the offer is sweet enough
  2. Excited to see Boehm and Sean Davis
  3. I look at all those years where we had Reed and our secondary woes were never this severe, granted the league is much more inclined to air it out now. If a QB is afraid to throw it over the top then the corners only have to worry about ten yards then covering becomes much easier.
  4. I don't think we'll be looking at first receivers in the first round unless we turn the season around and wind up with 6/7 wins or we trade back. I do love the value in the second with the possibility of Boyd or Coleman sliding down to us there. I don't think that there's many guys out there in FA that would be much of an upgrade over what we have. Likely the top guys will be an oft-injured and cut Victor Cruz, or cap casualty Vincent Jackson
  5. You also made the argument against yourself. Webb was playing out of his mind opening the door for Williams to be attacked. It does go both ways and I think we'd be happy with either
  6. See rave's response. When you have a shutdown corner that takes away a side of the field or a receiver, but if you have a great FS you know that your 2s and 3s are going to have help over the top and can elevate their play. Cary Williams looked pretty good when he was on the Ravens, but he also had Reed over the top along with Jimmy on the otherside
  7. My order is Bosa - Ramsey - Hargreaves. As it's been stated before we want a pass rusher and Bosa looks like he could be that guy and a good FS can cover up crappy CB play, and then Hargreaves is just so sound with his technique that he'd be hard to pass on
  8. I only see us grabbing Nkemdiche if we trade back and Bosa/Ramsey/Hargreaves are all gone. At that point I think it's still a toss up between him and the two tackles, but I'd be happy with any of those 6
  9. Love me some Desmond King. Ideally the draft goes 1- Bosa/Ramsey 2- Coleman/Boyd/Doctson 3-King/Sanchez/Sutton
  10. That's exactly why I think this is the perfect year for us to be down and turn it around. At the rate we're going we can get an elite talent up top and still get stellar value with the second pick in a guy like Coleman
  11. Rumor has it if you play the tape on mute and have Steve Smith audio in the background you experience a phenomenon very similar to the dress picture a while back. You can't tell which player you're watching
  12. up until this one though
  13. FWIW walterfootball has us taking doctson with our second pick and Corey Coleman going right in front of us. We also get Bosa at 6. Is it just me or do their mocks actually seem legit this year? Seems like in the past they were always laughable
  14. I think Ramsey is the safest pick for us, not the best, but the safest. Bosa has the highest potential and is at the top of the list for me. Then comes Ramsey/Nkemdiche. I think Ramsey could change our defense, but Nkemdiche looks like a super luxury pick, but a beast. Then comes Tunsil/Stanley. I prefer Tunsil more just because he has that nasty streak, but Stanley would be just as good. Hargreaves is next in line and the margin behind Hargreaves and the rest is much larger than the difference in the top guys.
  15. That's what I'm most excited about getting to pick so high, is seeing Ozzie get us guys with first round talent. Unless we get to 7 wins and pick outside the top ten I still think we're going to get a stud, outside top 5 I don't see a guy like Jack, but maybe Nassib, or someone along those lines. Also agree that Deon Bush out of Miami seems like a very intriguing prospect
  16. Even if we split and wind up 6-10, we're still more than likely picking to ten. Looking at previous drafts and teams this year 6-10 has been almost a definite top ten pick
  17. Still think there's a shot! Gotta hold out hope. As terrible as the Lions O-Line has been I think they'd be foolish to pass on one of the LTs. I don't think it's crazy that the browns, chargers, bears, cowgirls, chargers, or even 49ers grab a QB
  18. Boyd frustrates me because like a lot of people have said he reminds me a lot of Kennan Allen, who I really wanted. He's super smooth in his routes but doesn't have that top speed to blow by people, which makes me think his draft status will be similar to Allen, or even Alshon Jeffery. Both guys that should have been first rounders, but fell to the second
  19. Bortles has been playing well and shown that he can either be a star or a dud. You never know which Rams team you're going to get, but with Gurley in the mix full time they look dangerous. The Browns have already beaten us a home, now we go into Cleveland. The Dolphins have looked like a new team with their coaching change. The Sea Chickens are starting to get on track. The Chiefs have had success with the quick west coast offense in previous seasons. The Steelers should have Rothlisberger for this game. The Bengals look legit this year and seem to have had our number. The KC game is the only one that I'm confident that we'll win, but I was also sure we'd beat the Browns and would at least be 4-4 right now. I think top is a lock since no team (outside of 2010) with 6 wins has picked outside the top ten in the last 5 years, and I wouldn't call top 5 outside the realm of possibility.
  20. I think Nassib is rated 160 something on fanspeak and 250 something on CBS. Or maybe it's the other way around
  21. As far as the guys at the end of the simulator, Carl Nassib is the only name that matters
  22. CBS has him listed at 320 and calls him a coke machine with arms. Sounds like he's certainly worth a look
  23. Nassib is still criminally underrated to quote Grim
  24. So far teams only really have 4 games worth of film on him. Had there been another year or two of film we might be talking about him as highly as Bosa is regarded. The unknown factor is what's causing him to be viewed so low right now. I guarantee come draft day he'll be a very popular name
  25. I figure the best thing he has going for him is that he's a d-linemen whose name starts with an N followed by a consonant and we just traded our guy like that away. Without turning this into an Nkemdiche thread, I think that he has the ability to be special, and I'd probably take him over Stanley. I would prefer his teammate as he first LT off the board, but either would be a good fit behind the top few guys
