    I think it's best for Reed to coach the scheme he's more familiar with in a different organization. I think it might be too personal for the ravens with him right now.

    Generally speaking DC's are not fired to promote position coaches. If Pees were to be fired it would be because of defensive performance, like this year.
  5. especially now, it's just BPA. Not hard to imagine a position where an exceptional rookie couldn't start.

    He's listed at 6'0 220 lbs. I'd hardly call that undersized. And by the eye test he looks like a starting NFL running back.

    Generally speaking I'd rather draft an LT or Pass rusher in the top 5, since I feel like those positions are hard to fill outside the top of the draft.

    Honestly it's just really bad luck. Nothing in Monroe's career before he came here would lead you to believe he'd have these kinds of injury problems. It's the NFL, it happens and no one knows why.

    As another individual who has struggled with depression, yes it is a serious condition. No it is not something to be taken lightly. No it's not his fault, it doesn't make something wrong with him.

    God, this season man. i think Jimmy is our most talented DB, but Lisfranc is a nasty nasty injury, and a hard one to come back from. Hopefully we can get our secondary issues worked out.

    Never caused him an issue in college. Sort of crazy that it showed up THIS big this late.

    He was raw out of college and coming off a nasty knee injury. I wouldn't rush him out there.

    The only player I think Harbs really jettisoned was Bernard Pollard. Who had a pretty checkered past with teams anyway, so he's not alone with that. Boldin was a cap move and the real head scratcher.

    I mean, if you started an activity that had the injury rate football does without the history of the sport it would be considered child abuse. Honestly I get a little annoyed sitting there waiting to see another payer I admire get injured.
