  1. Forget that antiquated 'draft value chart'. The Browns and Titans made off like bandits getting WAY more value than that old chart dictates. The player(s) on the board determine the terms of the trade. Top 2 QBs in the draft = their weight in gold in draft picks. Let's say we're left with one of the elite players at our pick and the gap between that guy and the next in talent is significant as certain teams would rate them, then our draft pick is pretty valuable. Say the best guys are gone and the next 6 guys are rated pretty similarly, then we're probably the ones working the phone lines.

Ramsey is great as long as everything/the play is in front of him. After that he gets lost. Another thing is: first you try him as a CB, then you move him to safety. Do you really want a SS in the top 5? I like Jack better, his  athleticism is more usable. He's my top prospect.

If he becomes the bona fide superstar I think he will then h to the yeah.

If you cut him post June-1, its above $6M in savings... you just take most of the hit in 2017. That cut alone would pay for most of our draft class in 2016.

Not saying its the best option, but its an option.

Definitely keep Monroe. Tunsil does have an injury history and may not even be ready to start week 1. Monroe at the very least would be good depth for both tackle positions.

  4. We released the wrong guy IMO. Hill is 26, has stayed out of trouble since coming here, is a true safety with safety experience and is durable. Webb has potential to be good at safety but that's not a sure thing, plus he's already had 2 torn acls.

Edit: Just found out he was suspended 10 games. smh some guys never learn. This move is a no brainer then.

  5. This signing makes a ton of sense. Wallace is a proven and premiere deep ball receiver. Something we need with Perriman playing in what is essentially his rookie season. He'll probably never be a number 1 receiver, but unlike his last 2 teams we know that. The last time he had an arm in Joe's class throwing to him he did pretty well.

  6. I want all 3 back. Tucker is the main priority. Upshaw is an asset to our defense, but his skillset is not expensive to replace. Let him test free agency. I'd love to have KO back who is a beast, but only as a guard, for guard money. He did well in his limited duty as a left tackle, but he's hardly a proven commodity at that position, and he's a much more natural guard.

  7. I may be in the minority, but I think these guys deserve at least another season. Trestman was a victim of circumstances beyond his control, we have a very young receiving group which lacks top end talent, plus having Flacco go down didn't award him with the opportunity of turning things around. I'm not the biggest Pees fan, but our defense did improve towards the end of the season, and our secondary is still a weakness. Give these guys more talent. A top rush linebacker in the draft, a healthy Perriman and Smith, healthy Flacco, Suggs, Forsett, a legit #2 corner, and hope Jimmy's down season was due to him shaking off his Linsfranc injury.
