  1. I see this as a see what you got for next year. I'd run real heavy on the rookies. Sit players like Doom and Zuttah who won't be in the team next year and let some other guys get their shot at proving they should be starting. It's the a division game and regardless both teams want to win. So throw the younger guys or backups in there against the wolves and sink or swim. At least you'll know what you have in the offseason. Now of course you hope the Bengals play everyone that's healthy and people get real game experience and it doesn't turn into a preseason game.

  2. I see people talking about needing to restructure Joes contract. Really people need to look at Jimmys. If you factor in "actual games played" he's the highest paid corner in the league. That needs to be addressed in the offseason for sure. He's a great player yes, but given return on your investment not so much. CB, and a #1 CB needs to be a top priority in the offseason. Young has played great but it just screams #2 on the depth chart guy. Which is fine and great WHEN Jimmy can play. Powers and Wright have proven they should be at the bottom of the depth chart. Gotta either draft someone in the 1st or 2nd(preferably) or look at FA.

I don't understand one thing. Marty is known for his run first offense yet why is our pass-run ration even worse than when trestman was with us. And it's not like our run game is bad. It's not amazing but it's definitely good, better than in the beginning of the year.

Because he's still using Trestman playbook. You can't just completely change play books like that. If it's a pass heavy, which Trestman is, than you have only so many plays to choose from. Not to mention that's what e offense is used to and been running all year. IF Marty stays than over the offseason he can implement his playbook and than we'll see.

  4. Maybe. If Lewis can get back on the field instead of Ducasse, and Jimmy can play, and somehow Perriman can get open more than once a game to take the pressure off Wallace. Add in Marty gaining a bit more knowledge about the players he has and uses their strengths and Pees suddenly being able to call more than 1 quarter of the game.

Great to compare one games outcome to the next.  Cause look at how we imposed our will against that ferocious Jets team and then what we did against the Dolphins...

This offense sucks and now the run defense seems to have struck a leak.  We'll see next Sunday though.

It's different if their at least in similar circumstances. Pitt played them week 3 without Bell and Wentz on a roll, and it was in Philly. Now conversely just a couple weeks ago they went into Cinnci and got trashed.

  6. Good: West, Dixon, Tuck, Wallace

Bad: BOTH lines, PlayCalling, Flacco. Everyone gets that the OL is bad, but Ducasse was signed as a emergency backup and we've unfortunately had to use, because the rest of the backups are even worse, and Zuttah is horrible. This is all known. But the DL was a shocker in how bad they played today. ZERO excuse for that. They knew Philly was gonna go run heavy because no rookie QB is gonna come in and throw all over the place even without Jimmy, and they still couldn't do anything about it. As for the pick, I'd be more impressed if Flacco would just say "Yep, the call came in and I was greedy, and didn't go through my reads because I screwed up and wanted to get Sr the TD and that's entirely my fault". Joe just man up and say it.

Ugly: The win. No matter how you slice it yeah we won, and got smoked in every aspect of the game except passing yards. 95% of the time if you hold those stats up side by side you'd say THAT team won. And THAT was the Eagles. Embarrassing showing on possibly the last home game of the year.

Oh... And to add on. I'm glad the fans don't run this team. Seriosuly, we gave executive power of the franchise to the common man, they'd trade away flacco(which would be stupid), fire Harbaugh(which would be stupid), and get rid of Ozzie(which would be even dumber), whilst having a losing record every year and whiffing in 85% of the drafts.

    SMH.

Lol honestly, and I said this on the FB page also, the "fan" reaction and talk is the EXACT same in KC. All calling for Reid and Smith to be canned after they just lost to the Titans. It's hilarious how the feel and mood expressed are almost word for word if you switch Reid/Smith for Harbs/Flacco.

I wasn't even talking about the defense there.

The offense needed 2 first downs to wrap this thing up without drama build some confidence and they sat on it and punted basically. With a struggling defense.

Exactly a "struggling defense" that was 1st in the run and 4th in the league. THIS D has been helped by pathetic play on the other side. This isn't some Pees mastermind that's created such.

I really hate that this team plays scared so often. They play not to lose, ultra conservative.

If you try try to gain a first down the eagles use their timeouts. Instead they act like they have nice safe lead when the defense has been terrible.

That's Pees. And suddenly everyone forgets the past 4 years of pathetic play because we're ranked high this year.
