  1. All the complainers finally got their escalators. Lol. I can't find the design, but given the stadium just where are they going to put these?
  2. Torrey crested 1000 yards ONCE in his 4 years here and has been a disaster for the niners. Nah for the money I'll keep Wallace. Lol
  3. As for the draft I hope Hooker makes it to us. If not that I'll take Humphrey. The CB out of Bama. After that maybe Peppers. If we go outside of those 3 there better be a really really good reason.
  4. Just some quick stats on Pitta. For TEs, 1st in receptions. 7th in yards and tied for 22nd in TDs. Of actual starting TEs. Take it for what you will. Also in the bottom third for YAC. And averaged 8.5 ypc.
  5. Personally in the 1st if Hooker is off the board, highly likely, than I want Humphrey from Bama. The absolute breakdown of the D when we only had 1 corner out there(Young) just shows we need another guy. Move Young to the slot.
  6. Oh no doubt. I just don't think we'll ever get a full season out of Jimmy. I think we'll draft another CB in the first couple rounds to put on the other side and put Young in the slot. At least that way games Jimmy misses well have someone that can at least cover. Lol. Here's to hoping he can pull it together.
  7. Has Yanda ever played C? He makes the line calls anyway. Other options Tretter or Schwenke. Or if they don't retain Wagner and have to move Lewis to RT you have a guy like Warmack that's a FA. Stanley Warmack Schwenke/draft pick Yanda Lewis. That's a pretty damn good line.
  8. I stand corrected. I went back and looked at all his draft profiles and everyone from Mayock, to draft scout to the hacks at CBS all said he's a 3/4 OLB that will need to develop. Possibly they see him as the replacement for Doom? Similar skill set.
  9. Of course the flip side of that is games played divided by salary. If you use that, he's the highest paid corner in the league, by a pretty wide margin.
  10. I've said it before, if you look at the middle tier of contracts they're all in that 8-10 range. Garçon, Jones, Jackson, Crabtree, Smith. He hit 1000 yards this season. Not too much more you can ask out of a second tier WR. Now there's several teams that have multiples of those kind of guys, Redskins, Packers, Falcons(exception Julio in the 12+ range).... If Wallace will sign a 3 year in the low 20s he'll stay. I bet we offer the same to someone like Garçon. And here's to hoping they both take it.
  11. Well Alex Smith made it, yeah the guy with the fewest TD passes in the league, so why not Zuttah? Lol
  12. Hopefully the OL. Meaning we retain Wagner, Lewis gets even better and we get a new C in the draft. We've all seen what Joe and our running game can do with a strong OL. Actually any team.
  13. Given his draft selection you have to hope after a full season he'll be ready to step in next year. Meaning KC. Guess we'll see but I seriously doubt we go sign someone else.
  14. Time for Correa to step up.
  15. 4 from a AllPro named Weddle. So subtract that and we got 6 by the secondary, which would rank 24th. Just saying.
  16. Honestly we're not paying BWill 10M per. And Wagner isn't going to offered more than 6m per. The top 5 RTs contracts in the past 2 years are in the 5.8-6.5 range. You can throw out Mr.10m because he's already slated to play LT. Wagner played on one of the lower graded OLs last year and honestly he didn't play above and beyond either. If he gets offered more than 6 per year, let him walk.
  17. Why would a guy with 9 years in the league need a QB coach? If you look at other teams, paying their QB as much as we are, the OC is / QB coach. And sure they have a assistant QB coach, which means someone to go grab the coffee. If after 9 years Joe needs a babysitter telling him to work on his mechanics than something is wrong.
  18. Basically I took away, and what everyone has been saying anyway, is this is Harbs last stand. Firing everyone is bad for business but at some point you have to. They have another 8-8 season and miss the playoffs the entire staff is gone.
  19. DSmith came from the Jags. Not the Bucs. And it's already been stated Orr is a RFA. He'll be here next year as I doubt anyone's gonna give up a 2nd rounder for him.
  20. Marty runs, or I should say used to run in Philly, a completely different system than Trestman. Everyone gets wrapped around WCO vs Air Croyle and etc... but really even inside those are vastly different approaches. It's kinda like doing a oil change on a gas vs Diesel engine. Yeah you know the basics but it's still different. Now do a oil change on a Powerstroke or Dmax vs a Peterbuilt. Same thing. It's the same, but different. That was my point. It's still new and a change. Yes, less so than a complete new system, but still new nonetheless.
  21. Maybe you haven't played ball. But Marty is STILL a new coach with his own playbook, and different than Trestman. Given the evidence he was still playing with Trestman playbook because those are the terms the offense knew. So if you keep him, terms change, routes change, etc.,... It's still a new system, I don't care if you a in and out is the same pattern just under a different call. It's still a new system.
  22. We need a S because Webb is mediocre at best, and Weddle only has a couple years left. But you're right I bet Webb is shown the door. I really hope Hooker slides to us given more needs by teams in front of us. Or we move up for him.
  23. Um barring Johnsons contract, which is as you stated is a LT contract, the top 10 RTs in the league are only making a max of 6m per year. With a bottom level of 5.5m. I think Wagner falls into the top 10, but certainly not the top and no other team is gonna think that either. He comes back in the range of 5.7m a year. Easily.
  24. I was hoping also. I was OK with keeping Marty for continuity reasons, but when you think about it he's still going to be a new OC anyway who will be implementing his system. That's not continuity besides already knowing the guys name. Ah well.
  25. I think CB or S will be addressed in round 1. With the likes of Hooker and Adams being highly touted safeties one should be available at 16. Some really good corners also if those 2 are off the board. Aka immediate starters. DE/OLB and C can be addressed in 2 and 3 and be immediate starters also.
