  1. Aiken is still only a 3 in this league. Its pretty pathetic were so,excited about him. If hes our 3 next year thats fine. But 2? Sorry no.
  2. Yep I agree. lewis wont by our FS next year, hes always been garbage. Time to get Brooks out and see if b thats a wasted pick. ABrown we need to see him at gamespeed. Same with Walker. Who cares if we lose. Just stop playing scrubs who wont be here next year and see what you have that might be.
  3. Drop by Brown. Yeah bye.
  4. Ha. They just said it. Proof solid that Trestman doesnt have his own playbook. Claussen said 90% is different. Yeah, how aboit next year we let Trestman run HIS offense and not Kubiaks? What a idea huh? Bring in a OC and let him run his offense. Whoda thunk it?
  5. Good, get Jimmy oit of there. Full whiff on that tackle. Than a RB put runs him? Youre hurt. Go on IR and prep for next year. No sense at this point risking anyone we need next year.
  6. Proof this team has given up. But at least a loss hurts the Steelers.
  7. Dont really have a opinion on the Packers. I do enjoy the history and how your fan owned and so on, thats pretty cool. No hate from us. BUT that being said, and Im sorry but Im on the Carolina bandwagon for the playoffs. Cam is a likeable dude. Hard hitting D. Smash mouth with some pretty plays sprinkled in. They play football. Period.
  8. Playing with the playoff simulator. Say KC wins this week, even if Pitt wins. Next week we beat them. Regardless of anything else, it comes down to the Jets Bills game. IF the Jets win, theyre in and Pitt out. If the Bills win than Pitt backs in. Well provided they win that week of course. If they lose theyre out no matter what. Keep that in mind when watching this game guys and gals. IF we win, unless we beat Pitt the following week and they lose the other games as well theyre in. This is evaluate who might be "on the bubble" for next year, or what kind of contract theyre offered, if any. But dont expect or even want wins tbh. Except against the Steelers. Lol
  9. Think we lose a 23-17 game. Hey this is only a extended preseason at this point, or a early one? Guess pending your outlook lol. Id rather lose, than beat the Steelers and knock them out of the playoffs. Id take a couple draft picks later just to knock them out.
  10. Hes a good NT, and paired next to Jerrigan as the DT in a 4-3 could be really good. But hes not the future or some building block or we. Hpwever that said, I wouldnt let him hit FA. Offer him a decent contract and call it a day.
  11. Did he? Didnt look like it. What was his grade by Filmstudy? Does he post here? Gp check RSR. He didnt grade out like some superstar. It really is a moot point though. We cant pay him, we cant even pay him as a G let alone a LT. Well theoretically we could, and you can say bye bye to,signing any FAs or retaining a couple other guys wed like to. This isnt Madden.
  12. Desean would count 6m in dead money. Garcon only 2.2m upon a release this offseason. Wash isnt dumping Jackson until the year after, and even thats a maybe. You guys really gotta check numbers before hoping for this guy or that guy. Theyll release Garcon, watch.
  13. Would be the worst move in Ravens history since, well maybe Fabian lol. No way they do this. Hope he stars the next 4 weeks, gets a LT deal somewhere else and gets us a nice comp pick. Experts flat out said in his drafting, he's NOT a LT. Hes a RT at best but better suited to be a G in the NFL. As for Monroe, yes 2.1M savings, and 6.4M in dead money next year for it. Stupid.
  14. I could see Garcon making a appearence here. No BS dead serious. Perriman and Givens opening up the top allowing Garcon and Sr to work against lesser corners. With Gillmore, Maxx and Boyle at TE and Buck or West in the backfield as a threat. We combo you use thats a interesting predicament to put a opposing D into. And flexability that Trestmans Offenses utilize and thrive on.
  15. So they waived a QB they chose and picked up a guy that doesnt even have a alarm clock? This year gets dumber by the minute.
  16. Denver, true. Maybe they cant use that tactic but I stand pat that itll be 6 for 120 for "cap purposes" maybe even lower. I gotta take a look at who else has contracts this offseason, and who signed deals last year. Unfortunatly we cant use Bradys as an example as that is a contract never seen before. As for KO, meh I dunno. Honestly I think they relaize Hurst is horrible and theyre just trying to keep the backup for next year alive and unbroken for the next 4 games so theyre not rehabbing in the offseason also, lol.
  17. I think Buck will be a better back tbh. Hes getting the snaps now, than another offseason, I think he'll be just fine. Tali is our slugger. West is that shifty guy that I think Trestman will use alot once he also gets some snaps the next few weeks and a offseason. As for Camp, man yeah hes shown flashes. But when a guys been in the league 3 years and you have enough fingers to count how many QUARTERS hes played, not even games, thats a problem. I would rather not use 1 of the 53 spots for a guy you know 100% wont make a full season. Thats cutting off your nose to spite your face.
  18. Because his health is more important? If Im the medical staff Id force him to. If Im Oz I force him to. Etc.... As a fan I dont want him back. I dont want him to play again period. He does and week 3 gets hit, or makes a wrong cut or anything and they have to bring the Ambulance on the field and we get to watch him be rushed off never to walk again? Nope. Respect the man too much for that.
  19. Hopefully a fake. Zero reason to do this. The season is done. Its time to evaluate your backup to Flacco next year and the WRs and see whos worth keeping. And thats either Claussen or Renner. Id rather keep Claus around, at least he knows Trestmans offense. Renner can stay on the PS. We have Joe. We need a backup that knows the system and just in case Joe misses a game or 2 can come in and win one for you. Thats what a backup is for. OR theyre your future with a old timer at QB. But for us and the next 4,5,6 maybe more years the Backup is someone who knows the system and can win you a game or 2 in a pinch when your starter goes down for a short period. Youre starter goes down for the year and bye bye season. Period. Thats fact and been proven over and over. Keep Claus at the vet min. Let Renner keep running the PS. Until his rookie contract is up or he shows something in PS that someone else wants and get your pick back for him. Thats it.
  20. No to Lewis, Pitta and Forsett and Camp. Lewis is horrible, its time our pick showed up(Brooks) or we draft Ramsey, even better. Pitta wont be on the team, he retires if hes smart. Forsett costs too much and a nice cap savings. He lost his, legs the end of last year. And was horrible in the Playoffs. Too much for that position. Buck, Tali and West can carry the load by commitee. Trestman actually is good at that along with Castillo. Camp, man I pulled for that guy. But he cant last 5 min in a game. Some guys just cant be NFL players, doesnt matter how much talent they have or how much you pull for them. He wont even be in the NFL next year tbh. Edit: also I think we move to the 4-3 on D and get a coach for that. We just have pers better suited for it. Not to mention we run it more than a true 3-4 base anyway. Look at the snaps in base vs nickle. Than look at whos in even in our base, or were last year also. I actually did a bunch of research and am thinking about making a thread instead of being buried in the fire pees one.
  21. Way too many question marks. For one thing though with his restructure Webb will be here next year. Makes zero sense to dump him. Hes a decent 3 when healthy but reliability Id say 4. Yes hes making way too much, hence 2017 bye bye. But next year the cost savings arent worth it. Joe will restructure. I can see his cap hit next year being in the 16m range with incentives and a overall average of 20m per year for 6. Cap #s of 16, 18, 20, 22, 24. Just for simplicity, yeah itll be a tad different but for numbers sake. I bet they get it done. We cant just cut him loose, this isnt the Os and Chris Davis lol. But numerous other QBs are better QBs playing at those type of numbers. AND he just lost his best bargaining chip, reliable. You WERE. Now youve had a big time injury. Will it continue to be a issue? Those are question and tactics to use against that punk Linta. Joes not dumb. Sign for this so we can keep you upright and give you some weapons and we win another SB or 2, or go get your payday and last 1 year behind St Louis line before your knocked out of the league. Lol. Your choice. Yes extremisms. Wont come to that but thats the underlying reality lol. As for the whole Monroe situation, its really not cost effective to release him. Those of you saying sign KO to be our LT, ado those of you even understand the game? Do you even watch? That would be the worst move in Ravens history. KO has a injury history with his back, and has missed almost as many games as a Raven as Monroe has. Please. Just stop. Monroe will be here next year. Well draft a guy in the mid rounds with alot of upside and just needs coaching and let Castillo pick that person and work with them. KO os gonna get a contract elsewhere and Urschel will be our LG. Hes starting at C so hell know the line calls and I think thos has been the plan all along. Hes big, and smart as hell. I actually thoight he might be Yandas replacement when we drafted him, and maybe in a few years he is, but next year hes our LG. Maybe the org is fed up with Monroe and drafts Tunsil or Stanley, honestly I hope not. You need a offense that gets the ball out quick to slow down pass rushers. Look at the Brownies. They have arguably 2 of the best OLmen in football on the line. What has that gotten them? Meanwhile NE keeps rolling with guys they pulled from McDonalds. Monroe needs to grow some heart. Yeah he doesnt wanna be here. Oh well suck it up. Next year when he gets a hangnail hopefully the mid rounder or Hurst can keep them at bay long enough, or maybe he only misses a couple games in the middle, best case scenario, THAN in 2017 we can take a lookse when dumping Monroe wont hurt the cap. Maybe we use our 1st in the 2017 draft if its really that bad, or a 2nd. This year though? No. Too many other immediate needs with our finally getting high draft picks.
  22. Yeah and wed have a horrible team getting a mid round pick by still missing the playoffs. No this is exactly what this team needed. Eating a bunch of crow, dumping our dead weight including coaches and moving forward. One offseason might not be enough. I can see next year being a let down also, problem is we have a easy easy schedule. But this team really needs 2 years to get back to champ status for years to come.
  23. Glad I wasnt there. Pathetic.
  24. Im not sure its Oz. He doesnt negotiate the contracts fully. Not only that but Id bet Elam is a decent player on another team, look at his draft profile, and hes a bum? Pretty hard to believe. Brooks cant see the field over Lewis? This is far more of a coaching issue. We have a secondary coach that has never done it, we have a DC run out of NE. Let Trestman run his offense. He has a attacking style but handed Kubiaks book and told to run that. Need to get all the coaches on the same page, the biggest being on the D side. Trestman as a OC is used to a 4-3 D on the other side. Thats what we need. Full buy in from top to bottom. And a single vision. Right now ots a CF and this is what we get.
  25. Aiken is far too hit or miss to even be a 3. Even if Sr comes back were gonna need to add a legit 2 FA, OR spend our 2nd on a rookie. Just saying. As with Monroe, not much to do there. Id rather use a mid rounder on someone that can be decent than use our 1st. That needs to go to a playmaker, we need them. Trestman needs to adjust to the matter. 7 step drop plays under a full blitz isnt gonna work, take a page from the Pats, Chiefs, etc... Who get the ball out fast.
