  1. Just looking at this year, so you're perfectly fine losing you're starting RT for "maybe" a 3rd comp next year, which btw KO brought us the 99th pick which is the highest we've ever had. So a starting RT traded for someone outside even he top 100 players selected!!!! I'm guessing you like Casinos and having the odds stacked against you? Play slots? Letting a computer determine you're fate. Cmon man.
  2. The Skins were closer to make the playoffs last year than we were. Just saying. AND with playing a harder schedule.
  3. Don't forget the 2.5 added for cutting Zuttah.
  4. Anyone else hate FA as a Ravens fan? It's the same ol every year. We NEVER have cap space and are always dumpster diving. Other teams work out deals with their players BEFORE FA so they don't lose them, unless they don't want them back anyway. We could've given Wagner a extension last year. It seems like, for every DJ or Weddle that we sign that works out, there's a dozen Zuttah and Lewis, etc.. that don't.
  5. I don't like RSR simply because the mods show extreme favoritism. Some posters can call others whatever they want but the second you respond you get banned. Might check out that scout one. Or if Bold can get one setup that we all migrate to.
  6. Add in the 3rd round also. Just something I've seen in mock drafts and a article on RSR. Linking is to another DE in the 1st round. Lol. If you look at the draft prospects, Carl Davis, Jerrigan, Kafusi, ZSmith, and Correa, ALL have come out with highly touted pass rush abilities. And these are all 2nd and 3rd rounders. Read their draft projections and analysis. And not a single one has produced. Why? Kafusi broke his ankle, very unfortunate. Correa had some dings, but still couldn't see the field. Davis, a guy that even Mike Mayock said might sneak into the 1st round has done......ZSmith, the quoted "twin of McPhee" has done.......Jerrigan has done pretty good, but certainly hasn't lived up to his draft projection. And 2 years ago people were calling him a bust. Lol. Bottom line, if you're drafting guys in the 2nd and 3rd that even experts say would be 1st rounders, and than they produce less than you're undrafted guys, you have a serious disconnect between you're Coaching staff and Scouting people.
  7. I suggested before instead of escalators, how about those rolling paths like you have at some airports? Much better option and can go right on the existing ramps with minor modifications. And I thought they took them out of OPACY? Only go to a few games a year and always sit along the 3rd base line or left field. Cause that's where the smoking side is. Lol
  8. I thought we had it last year, given BWill and Jerrigan inside with Urban and Suggs playing DE. ZSmith on one side with Mosley in the middle and we just need that other LB spot solidified. Figured with Judon, and than drafting KC we had it, with a lot of horses, to spell guys. Next year? Dunno. In 2015 we played 68% of snaps in the nickel with a basic 4 man front. Haven't seen the stats for 2016 yet.
  9. No offense, but you're going to a football game. Did memorial stadium have escalators back in the Colts days? Sincerely asking as I'm not sure but doubt it. Theres elevators at M&T. For those that can't make it up there. Handicapped and so on. If you're not handicapped with a legit excuse, there's ramps. Not even stairs. Ramps. I mean cmon this is getting rather silly he laziness of America. Not about health nuts. Think of it as a game, can I finish this beer before I make it to the top?
  10. I'm talking more "philosophy" and what you need to succeed. People say defense wins championships. But this past year the 4 teams in the conference games were 22,25,12 and 8th. Yes the 8th place won a ring, after giving up 21 points in the first 17 minutes of the game. The year before, all 4 were in the top 10. The year before that was again scatter and 2 in the top 10, and 2 in the lower half. Lol. Conversely. 8 of the last 10 that have made a championship game have offenses in the top 10. The other 2, one won the SB in 2015. Personally I think Sizzle hangs it up after next year if we don't make the playoffs. If we do than he'll stick around one more year to take another go at it. We don't have a young offense. We have some younger guys on our line, and maybe it gets younger given the dumping of Zuttah, but Yanda only has a couple more years left himself. And we have ZERO too include Perriman in a reliable younger receiving corps. We have some young promising YEs that either can't stay healthy, or get popped for roids. No offense because I think they can be pretty damn good, but....And we have some younger RBs to couple up with a guy that if he's gonna hit his peak will be the next 2 years.
  11. Let's just take the past 2 years. Teams who have made the championship game, not just the SB. Lost my other notepad that had the past 10 years and really don't feel like doing that research again, so just did the past 2 years. Which prob matters more as they keep coming out with more and more rule changes. Anyways: 2016 Offense ranking( Overall, Passing, Rushing) Defense (Overall, passing, rushing) Packers. 7,7,20. 22,2,8 Falcons. 2,3,5. 25,5,17 Steelers. 8,5,14. 12,17,13 NE. 4,4,7. 8,21,3 2015. Arizona 1,2,8 5,8,5 Carolina 11,24,2 6,11,4 NE 6,5,30 9,17,9 Denver 16,14,17 1,1,3 Now all you can take from that is a team with a top 5 in any category can make it, but plenty of others with better top 5 numbers didn't even make the playoffs. there's no magical formula, it's all about match ups
  12. Kinda wonder what packages will run. Gotta check ravenstrips and wnst. Lol
  13. Amen. The bottom line is KC was drafted because of his unique abilities. Abilities being wasted. Pees schemes are very bland and vanilla. X player fits x spot. He cannot adjust on the fly. He never has, even with NE. We'll see what happens next year as I think he gets many more reps splitting time with Judon and others, but I think he's gonna wind up a pretty good 2nd Rd pick.
  14. Honestly this year is a put up or shut up year. If we fail to make the playoffs again I fully expect major changes. THAN maybe the window changes to a couple years. Once Harbaugh brought back Pees I think his fate is intertwined. The D went from 1st to 7th in the final 4 games, when we were at our healthiest as a defensive unit, minus Jimmy of course. So I fully expect them to throw everything they can at winning right now. I don't know if that's guys like BWill and Doom not returning and them throwing weight behind the offense, or if it means Wagner leaves, and maybe even Juice and them throwing a lot of heat towards the D side. Personally I think they hope guys like Pierce, Judon, ZSmith, or Correa really step up and they hand the keys to the kingdom to Marty and give him everything they can to become a top 5 offense. That at least gives you a above average shot at winning the division and a home playoff game.
  15. I went back and reread it. That was my fault, we were talking about Correa moving to ILB, and I mixed up the threads when I was looking up his draft profile and what Mayock and others were saying. Lol
  16. Gotcha I just remember reading something on ESPN about no one willing to pay a RT, LT style money. Was just ingeneral, not a Wagner thing, however they did say options at RT weren't all the great this year.
  17. Link? Because the second highest paid RT in the league right now, who just signed his deal last year is set at 7.5. And no one is going to argue that Wagner is the best RT in the league. He should be in the 6m per league, at best.
  18. Personally I think Jackson has benefited more from Garçon taking attention away and them having a seam TE threat. Leaving him mostly one on one. Just never really seen him good enough to beat coverages, not that Wallace is a world beater either, but given the options and same price I'll take the guy Joe knows. In this case.
  19. I really think it was a team who has never before this year been in a do or die situation. Their HC has before and he chocked then also. What was that scene in the movie Relacements. You're suddenly in quicksand and he more you try and fight the more it swallows you? That's what happened.
  20. Correa. Not sure where you got Kafusi from.
  21. Good point to bring up. Before Engram we had a ST failure and bum coaching WR. Everyone thought he was gonna be a savior. And this far that hasn't been the case. However we really haven't given him much to work with either. Perriman, who most draft experts said, has 2 routes. And his claim to fame was beating CBs who are currently working at McDonalds. And than he stubs his toe and is out for a year. Than you hand him a former QB who has physical tools but has never run a route in his life. Than a couple other bottom of the barrel guys. You can't get blood from a turnip. Honestly I don't get how NE does it, they're 2 primary receivers are short white dudes, and than have another tall white dude who sucked in college. And you can say Brady all day long, but damn.
  22. He's pretty similar to Doom. Situational pass rusher. Honestly if you watch his film he's a lot like Kruger at this point. We played more experienced guys in front of him while he learned the NFL. Honestly kinda our MO. And keeping with our MO and the fact that he's a 2nd rounder he'll get his shot at starting next year. Provided they don't waste the money bringing back Doom. Which Oz and Co are kinda notorious for, but I'm guessing they waste resources bringing back Pitta and/or Watson.
  23. Given the 12 games Torrey played in, because as you stated he was out for 4 he put up 297 yards. The year before he was only listed as a starter for 12 games also but played in all 16. Total 663 yards, Boldin put up 789 in the same 12 games. His second to last year. If you take the same first 7 years, Wallace has 3 1000 yard seasons, Torrey has 1. I get having weak QBs but isn't Gabbert known for having a good deep ball? It's his decision making and progressions along with terrible over the middle accuracy that's done him in. All in all TBH, and you mentioned it Marshall. Given average pre year, look at say Atlanta what they're paying, look at Cinnci, Redskins even Seattle. Last year the Skins paid both Jackson and Garçon 8m each. Atl paid Julio 14 and Sanu 6. BM got paid 8 in a injury riddled down season and is set to be a FA casulty. I was on the get Garçon train, because he's def getting cut. The Skins are gonna stick with Jackson and than they're younger guys because they gotta figure out how to retain Cousins. But at this point I think he's more a consolation prize.
  24. Think I read a correction that it was that years 1st and 2nd and we offered that years 3rd or 4th and they covered with 2009 2nd also, and that's when we said no. So essentially, Joe, Rice, Gooden and Kruger. Which TBH I still wouldn't switch for, I just don't think Ryan would hold up in our division. If you look at PFF and his career stats outside vs inside it's night and day.
  25. No worries man. I agree I don't see Doom coming back either. I think KC was seen as the next man up. They might look at some other pass rushers but I doubt it. I think they're going to have to take a look at the ILB market and get a guy to put next to Mosley. A guy like Hightower would be intriguing to pair next to Mosley for the next few years.
