  1. Its not feasible. Its been discussed and actual engineers have commented on it. There is no place to install them except outside of the existing frame. As for the buying lower level tickets, whats wrong with that? Before I bought my PSLs for years I sat all around the stadium, midfield upper deck, endzone uppers, all around the ll, I actually had upper deck psls that I sold the tickets to offset my cost of my lower level seats. Anyways, I have bad knees too, thanks to 12 years in the Infantry so I stay my happy butt right in the lowerlevel. Dont need a cortizone shot just to get to my seat, lol. 6 p's
  2. Thanks Ravor. Didnt know how to link to it.
  3. Hence why we have ramps. Look if you cant walk up a few ramps than maybe you should get lower level tickets. This has been long discussed. A:It isnt even feasible, where would you install them? B: not cost effective. Even if you could the cost would be rediculous and passed on to the other 70k fans that dont need them just for a small percentage. Insane. Look nothing against older fans or disabled, but honestly the elevators should be for those folks. They need a security person to stand there and kick out perfectly capable adults from that line. That would minimize a bunch of time between the lazy and the Im special going to the box crowd.
  4. You and I both know thats not what Im talking about, lol.
  5. Yeah, no names. Was it scheme or players? Bit of both. But they lost essentially Suggs and Doom. And turned Smith and Upshaw into all pros.
  6. Can I add besides a new secondary coach and DC, Id like to see them cleanhouse on our strength and conditioning program. 20 guys on IR says somethings amiss. Sure not much you can do about someone getting rolled up on or a broken arm, but lets look at controlable things. Ill point to the overall sluggishness of the D. Weve been saying their overthinking and unsure, possible and likely, but what about Mosley and certainly losing a step? How about Jimmy? Oh that foot is still bothering him? When he was 100% cleared and a year and a half later? How about Webb? Clearly slower,by alot. Upshaw is a DT in a LB body. You could go on and on. We need to evaluate how were training players compared to other teams. Weve never had these kinds of problems. Players flying to the ball, and now theyre trying and a step or 2 behind. Something to look at for sure.
  7. Lol the Chiefs lost their 2 best pass rushers and still are shutting teams down. That right there negates #2, 3 was a horrible stretch. And Continuity? Of a failed system? Continuity ismuch more important on the offensive side.
  8. No, but than again Im there to ya know, watch a football game not play on my damn phone. The excuse "Im watching my fantasy team" bs is weak. You set your lineup, theres nothing you can do or change at that point, besides they scroll fantasy stats on the jumbotron, so refreshing to see if your "winning" instead of cheering on 3rd down makes me wanna punch you in the face. Sigh sorry, end rant.
  9. Depends on the draft. If Ramsey is there at 6, and he prob will be, Webb goes back to nickle corner, or even better only 4th on the depth chart. Personally I stick Brooks in the CB depth chart. He was never graded as a good FS. A backup at best. Honestly though, I wasnt impressed with Webb at FS. Looked lost at times, cough a big ol TE jogging right past him like he forgot that HE was the over the top help, or slow getting to the ball or diagnosing plays. Sure he didnt screw anything up like Lewis does frequently except for that one play but thats not saying much. Maybe a better secondary coach and DC and he can be good back there, who knows? Honestly with the dynamic duo of a punter turned secondary coach and a failure at DC who really knows what we have in the secondary???? Certainly cant use this year as a evaluation.
  10. Of course. That post was a best case scenario. Reality it will prob be somewhere in the middle. As for Joe I hated the contract than and hate it now. All the "experts" said Oh itll look great after Rodgers gets his contract and Wilson and Kap and Cam and so on. What a crock. Rodgers is the highest paod QB in the league, his cap hit? 21m every year. BigBen cap hits of 23,18,23,23. Rivers 21,18,19,20. Wilson got even less with not a single year over 20, all are 18ish. Joes cap hits under current structure 28 next year 31! In 17 and 26 the final year. An extension averaging cap hits of 19 shouldnt be out of the question. 18, 19,20,20,22,22 is about where he should be at.
  11. The tag next year will likely be 4.5m for a pk. But I also see Forsett released as some say. 2.3m. Without creating a long post right now without releasing anyone or Joes contract getting redone and retaining all of our erfa, and Aiken the sole rfa getting a 2nd rnd tender and our projected rookie pool, tagging Tucker, but losing KO we will have 65 players with a total cap hit of 155.6m. The projected cap will be 153.4m. Thats worstcase scenario.
  12. Theres a article by Brian over on RSR about our cap situation. You guys really need to read it before tossing out wild assumptions. Basically even without resigning KO and assuming they tag Tucker, give Aiken a 2nd rd tender while not tendering anyone else, resigning our erfa and given a assumed cost of our rookie pool than even with a guessed increase in the cap to 153m we will be several M OVER the cap. Now of course thats assuming Joes contract drags into the spring and no other releases. Interesting releases: Arrington 1.43m Canty 2.15m Forsett 2.3m, some will argue this Levine 1m Pitta 5m if hes a post june 1 DSmith 2.6m Lewis 933k Now Elam would save 1.328m, what do we do here? Keep in mind we usually carry 4-5 safeties, and assuming Levine and Lewis go were down to 3. Monroe is a 2.1M savings or 6.5m given a post june 1 release. However keep in mind after June 1 youre not gettong the cream of the crop of FAs. So with everyone above being released that saves us 15.38m, add in another 8-10 if they can get Joes contract redone prior to FA and well be looking at MAYBE 19m in wiggle room. Thats best case scenario. Someone double check my math lol
  13. I wouldnt mind Pettine.
  14. Really? Cmon man. Yeah the Bengals didnt do squat on 3rd down, a nice change, but gouged the d with McCarron every other down. Ill admit, hes better than Lewis, but no way do I want him oir starting FS next year.
  15. Yeah and we saw how that worked, too slow no impact. Hes here next year regardless but I dont want him at FS.
  16. Lack of offense? We were closing in on the top 10 WITHOUT our starting QB, WR, RB and half the line banged up. Just stop. If youre gonna blame this season on a offense that handed the D leading the game in the final minutes of the 4th quarter, that they lost 5 games on than you need to switch teams. Or stop watching football.
  17. Ok, this may be in the wrong place but considering alot of posters dont have Baltimore in their location lol obviously people use other means. Sure theres the DirectTv Sunday Ticket that you can pay 200+ bucks for on top of their rediculously priced other services for TV which for the most part is junk. Other than that you have RedZone which of course just shows when were in the red zone. Im getting tired of watching the games on my phone. So anyone, give me some ideas for the Bengals game. And break it down barney style like. I have a "pc ready" tv but dont even know what cord I need, or what website to watch and how to get it onto the TV. Ive been watching games I havent attended on my tablet or phone. Know how annoying that is???? Lol. So someone from geeksquad or other tech savvy fan, help a bro out. Please. Lol
  18. Did you mean youre "no longer" interested? Just kidding. But YES thats what Im saying. Guys are comfortable with what they know. Thats why you have 3-4 guys and 4-3 guys. Not just players, but coaches also. What do you do for a living? Nm thats personal. But say you did one thing your whole life, than suddenly you gotta do it different. And dont trump out we have a top 10 D. Yards per game are a pile of poo. POINTS matter and TURNOVERS. Yards dont win or lose games. Thats a bs argument. Cmon bro youre better than that. Top 10 D. Lmao. As for a ring, hmmmm how come when he had Brady on O he couldnt get one? But he comes here with 3 HOFers on his D and gets one, even though he almost blew it even with that many all stars.
  19. Its all good bro. Hell theres guys on here that swear Camp is gonna turn into Steve Smith, ya know once he gets every injury known to football out of the way and has enough surgeries to be renamed the bionic man. Were all allowed to disgree on things. Lol. I just would rather spend that 2.3m on getting say Mike Wallace in here to prop up the WR core, or maybe another go at a decent FS or LT depending on how the draft goes and all that, ya know? Theres teams in the playoffs that I bet you cant name their #1 RB. Its not as money needed a position any more. And Im old school and would rather have the #1 D and rushing attack in the league and punish teams like we used to. But its changed. You can get the same production out of a commitee of cheap backs and a good line. Its just a money thing bro. I love his heart and fire too. But the problem with the team is they need that on the other side. Gotta put some money there, while also getting Joe another weapon so Marc doesnt go bald scheming to win with a bunch of scrubs. Lol
  20. He knew I was just teasing him. Why he ignored it. Unless you guys know something I dont? Im new so still figuring posters out, lol.
  21. No it all factors in together. Jeez we both played ball. Lets crayola style this. We, and most of the league play a ton of nickle just because of most offenses running 3wr sets right, you have trip sets, 2 over 1, etc.... We can agree on this right? So..... Why would you want your "base" to be a 3 man front when your bringing Suggs to stick his hand in the dirt outside the tackle in a 7tech spot anyway? Why not just go ahead and A:get a guy who runs a Tampa2 very well(Which as you know is a quick and easy player change to the nickle, rather than half the guys running off and 4 new players running on) and keep the flow of the D. Bottom line. Pees doesnt know how to use the nickle, or anything else. Go back to his NE days. He ran a nickle with a 3 man front. Watch it. Very rarely did they use a 4 man front. Hes not comfortable with it. Maybe he cant use stunts correctly, or maybe it was just he had Willfork and didnt wanna pull him out, Im not in his mind bro. Im just saying if you run a 4 man front out of a nickle 46% of the time, why not keep that same 4 man front the other half the time? And hence get a guy whos ya know, great at that style.
  22. However I do agree with a realignment, but that kills off some rivalries. What If we do switch with Buffalo for example. We lose that Steeler rivalry, nah Ill pass. Remember when we first came in and our biggest rival was the Jaguars and Titans? Sheesh. That would be awfully boring nowadays.
  23. Im not sure if the Rams should move. If anything I could see Oakland going to LA and it not changing the alignment at all. Besides the Raiders have a far longer history than the Rams that were only there a couple years. I could see the Chargers moving to Vegas, not sure why thats dropped off? Months ago it was the big pushing idea of Vegas getting a team, now nothing its all about LA. Honestly the only move that even makes sense is the Raiders returning to LA. 2nd largest TV market, a team that has history there, and a team that finally seems to be heading towards winning seasons withCarr and Cooper.
  24. Maybe I didnt explain very well. Ill try and rephrase. Were not actually trying to lose. BUT we shouldnt play the guys we already know their fate for next year, be it here or being cut. Play Elam and Brooks and ABrown and get Urban out there for most snaps, etc.... Now those guys aren't going to win, no matter how hard they try. So it's not purposely losing, you're asking those guys to audition for next year, sorta like a preseason game. IF by some miracle they win than Ok. BUT Id rather gain a couple draft spots and get some gamespeed tape on guys to see if were gonna keep them or cut them. Hence treating this like 2016 Preseason game 1.
  25. While I agree, it really doesnt apply to this game. Sure if you start the season and say lets lose every game so we can get Andrew Luck, like the colts did, thats different. But losing this game basically on purpose to get some film on other guys, or to let some guys show what they can do, that is NOT the same. Its not a loser mentality. Theyre gonna try their hardest and lose anyway for the greater good.
