  1. Why can't we use Waller more often?? The kid can run and he has shown decent hands. I was watching some old videos from 2011 & 2012 and though we had Cam Cameron as our OC, but we still used some trick plays. This offense is so vanilla that no team is probably expecting us to do anything outta ordinary so we might as well start using some trickery! I am sure it wouldn't hurt.

  2. I've said this from the get go, but this guy can ball. I just don't understand why we don't use him as much. He can outrun CBs let alone LBs. Why can't we use some Screen plays and see how he does. We have enough talent on this team, but not enough CREATIVITY!!! Waller, Moore, and Dixon should handle the screen plays while Wallace and Perriman go deep, and SSS and Pitta handle the middle

I've watched so much film on Matt Elam at Florida. It's extremely hard to believe that he's a bust. I know he can still play. All of a sudden he can't tackle or cover. We are not asking him to be Ed Reed. Just be a solid safety. I'd rather see Elam then Webb all day long!

The nfl just seems to big for him. I swear if Elam falls over his two feet again you'll be back there instead. Poor Weddal.

It's kind of hard to make that claim, when the Ravens have never really started him at SS where he belongs. He is a not a fast, rangey cover safety like Ed Reed. He's more of a Landry/Pollard type of player, and SS is where he belongs. To claim that the "NFL is too fast for him", when he has honestly been misused since day one and played out of position by the Ravens, is a bit of a stretch.

Very well-said! misused from day one! PERIOD!

For some reason when I first saw this article I was thinking it was going to say something to the effect of how the Cleveland Cavaliers and the NBA talked to MLB and the Indians on adjusting the time of their basketball game so it won't start the exact same time as the World Series. Of course I'm referring to a couple years ago when the Ravens and Orioles couldn't come up with a solution to have a football and baseball game both being played on the same day. Granted this is the NBA and MLB instead of the MLB and NFL but I still feel cheated that we didn't get that game here to this day eventhough it was years ago.

Yep, I am with you! and we ended up getting smashed by the Broncos and Peyton threw 7 TD!! SMH!

  6. No mention of Tavon Young?? Shooooooooooot, that is SO not cool! lol......and we need Pass RUSHERS!! Any secondary will get exposed when the QBs have more than 4 seconds. Plain and simple. We also pass wayyyyyyy too dang much. Our identity is to play Smash-Mouth football which we don't and we have not had a swagger since Ray left. Sad, but true. :-(

  7. trestman is somewhere smiling. castillo should have been fired because the o-line play has been sloppy even when all the starters were healthy

You're wrong! Castillo has had to shuffle the O-Line because we are hurt. Finding the right pieces hasn't been easy either, but not all the blame should go to the coaches. Players should be hold responsible as well. We have no swagger. We are not the bully we once were because we don't play smash-mouth football. Plain and simple.

We need to play Urschel more. He has been opening holes for West. I really think he can replace Zuttah someday as a Center

Are you kidding, what has he done. All everyone keeps talking about is how smart he is, that doesn't translate to the football field, he's not a road grader. Use your mathematic analysis, put it to use on the field. Let him go so that he can pursue his PH D at MIT.

He's getting his Ph.D. in less than a year. He doesn't need to be let go. He's been solid for us as far as I can remember. James Hurst tho.....
