"Jeffey" Turned down more money to come here! We better prove him that he made the right decision!
Per La Canfora on twitter:
Ravens free agent DL Lawrence Guy is visiting the Patriots today.
I don't want to sound like someone who can only be grumpy (my avatar notwithstanding :D) - but losing Guy would IMHO be a much bigger loss than most people would think... He was one of the true unsung heroes of our D last season.
I agree wholeheartedly! LG is one gritty SOB and has done everything we have asked! He has never let us down and I really DO NOT want to lose him. Please stay Mr. Guy!
We better get Henry and Davis on the field! Carl Davis and Timmy J need to step it up a notch this season!
lets give them 4 years before we label them busts is what im trying to say... sorry my English isn't the best..... From Beirut Lebanon.. middle east...
No problem. As-Salaam-Alaikum
Of course a Marine knows how to say that!
is it me or outta the 32 projected 1st round picks, more than half are DBs or Safeties? That's crazy!
Who are your top 3 CBs in this year's draft my fellow Ravens fans?
Maaaan, as much as I hate the Pats, I don't wanna see the Steelers make it to the SB. :-(
We are a Marcus Peters/Von Miller combo away from making it to the playoffs. That is exactly what this team is missing. A premium pass rusher and a shut down corner that can stay healthy.
agree!
A lot of teams can say they are a combo away from making it to the playoffs.
Easier said than done. Defense ranked so high all year, but choked in the 4th quarter of the MOST IMPORTANT game of the season. Why? I'll tell you why. Because not only we could not touch Ben, we also could not stop their main 2 targets. AB and Bell. If we had a TRUE shutdown corner, and a PREMIUM pass rusher who can change the outcome of a game with one play, we would not be talking about this.

...and so says about 25 other teams!!
yeah? Name those 25

Not happening unless a new coordinator is brought in that can force him into not committing idiotic mistakes.
I think you mean new head coach.
lol
Teams like NE & KC know how to utilize such a talent. If he goes to NE and ends up with a ring, (like Darian Stewart and Owen Daniels did with DEN), then the FO can fire themselves.
Why can't we get a draft pick like Zeke Elliot? someone like Tyreek Hill? Xavier Rhodes? Marcus Peters? Why can't we give rookies opportunities and see what they got? I understand practice is important, but there are a lot of players who practice poorly, but shine in a real game. Our main issue has been an OC who can utilize all the talent we have. We have no trick plays which is pathetic lol
Would you say this team had more talent or less talent this year versus 2014? I would say the 2014 team had less talent but was more successful because they had a competent OC whose scheme and playcalling enabled the offense to make the Ravens competitive. In both cases, special teams were solid and the Ravens defense had trouble holding a lead.
I agree wholeheartedly!! And that same guy left us and won a SB with the Broncos the very next year!
I know everybody thinks the Ravens should contend for the Super Bowl every year, but the only team that does is New England. If Antonio Brown had come up 8 inches short and the Ravens won the won, people in Pittsburgh would be calling for Tomlin's head. Denver won last year and didn't make the playoffs this year. Think their fans are happy? How about Carolina fans? Cardinals, Colts, Bills, and Bengals all had lousy years. Should their coaches be fired? (Re: Rex Ryan -- YES.) Seattle has fallen behind the Raiders and played some terrible games this year. Should Pete Carroll take a hike? At least the Ravens field a competitive team. Imagine being stuck with the Browns, Jets, 49ers, or Rams! Yeah, Correa and Kaufusi have been busts so far, but look at how many rookies made an immediate impact -- Stanley, Lewis, Young, Moore, Judon, Dixon. Repeat that in the upcoming draft and the Ravens will remain a playoff-contending team.
Well-put!!
Let's hire Jeff Fisher lol
Coaches baloney. Playing next to Marshall Yanda has been the main reason for his development. Give him credit too for taking the opportunity to learn for arguably the best offensive lineman in the game.
Yeah, I think so too! Yanda is our main man on the OL and there is no doubt in my mind he has taken Ronnie under his wings. We couldn't ask for a better guy to teach him the ropes. I hope your Xmas is merry. Cheers!
Stanley is the least of our concerns... top two things to worry about are the lack of Jimmy Smith and how many Flacco turnovers we are likely to suffer.
ain't that the truth!!!
Nobody thought he'd contribute as much as he has his first year. I thought it'll take a year of adjustment, but thank god I was wrong. That Chris Hogan TD tho lol.....
As long as we keep Bell and AB in check, and sack Ben when we are close enough to him ( we all know how he is the best at evading sacks ), we'll have a shot at the W.
Someone needs to put a lick on Ben early! He needs to be rattled early and often
That was supposed to happen in NE game too, but we barely put a hand on Brady.
"Not being cocky or anything, but one guy is never going to tackle me.” I like your attitude, son.
Hell yeah, the guy was overshadowed by Mr. Reynolds so he plays with that extra chip on his shoulder and boy he's ballin!!! He isn't being cocky, he just knows he is strong enough to run thru you. He welcomes the contact and he breaks tackles on the regular. He is the future RB for this franchise and we need to find a coach somewhere who is willing to punish opponents by running the ball. SAID NO RAVENS FAN EVER lol
We are not a good team. We can't hold a damn lead and when we are down, we can't catch up. Well, except the Cleveland game lol
The Ravens should send the Eagles some Xmas presents for handing us the game. This season, we have only played one game in which we were consistent in all 3 phases. Yep, you guessed right, vs. the Dolphins. Next week is win or go home and if we are planning to play like we have played all season (except that Dolphins match), we are in for a treat!! Them Steelers and their Terrible Towels are going to be ready. Oh, and Cincy played very well today and will probably have the Raven Killer (AJ Green) back for week 17. Lord help us lol
