  1. What a great pick would be to grab Likely who played for the Terps in the 2nd or 3rd round. We need football players with skills. he will recover from his ACL injury and as a corner back he can return punts. Just saying he could be a sleeper in the draft because of the injury and he is in our backyard. Pick two CB's in the early rounds.

he would make for a solid returner for us. some sights have him listed at 5'7 so if that is the case im not sure what success he would have playing cb in the nfl but if he is 5'9 than that makes him a value pick.

  2. we r set with yanda stanley lewis at g or rt. zuttah is serviceable but he is not the mauler we need if a power running game is on the menu. wagner unfortunately will demand too much so we r looking at bringing in 2 new starters for the o-line. new line coach will hopefully be a plus for the backups as far as coaching them up. team needs parts at wr, edge rusher/olb, ilb with orr gone, cb and safety and d-line if williams leaves. we will keep one between williams and wagner and i believe that the best move would be williams.need to ask guys to take pay cuts or let them walk. would be big of flacco to do so but i would not hold my breath for that to happen. need to hit a homerun in free agency, draft and ufa's. a lot of jobs on the line this coming season so i hope there is a sense of urgency from the coaching staff, front office and players that need to step their game up.

  3. wish the front office could find guys like edelman and hogan and wish we had the coaching staff that can utilize players like that if we did have any. i would say camponaro comes close but he has to stay healthy. maybe we have other guys but our coaches maybe are afraid to try things with them. i think chris moore could do damage on a wr screen or quick slant under 8 yards like brady runs with edelman or amendola.

Flacco won a SB with a great TEAM in 2012. It is now 2017. It's time to let it go and focus on what he has done lately.

2016: Drove his team down the field in Pittsburgh and scored the go-ahead touchdown that our defense crapped on the next Steelers possession, that possibly cost us a playoff spot and the division. Threw for over 4000 yards (for the first time in his career) and kept his team in a position to win games with one of the worst ground games in the NFL (ranked 28th). Had the highest completion percentage of his career (64.9%). Finished the season with an 8-8 record after coming back from reconstructive knee surgery, changing OC's mid-season, and having his (aged) number one wide receiver out for a good part of the season.

Based on his completion percentage alone, which has been creeping up each year...you can argue he's getting better. Granted, we had to throw it a lot because our ground game sucked. I guess I'm just not ready to close the door on Joe just yet. I think he is a talented QB that could/will win the team another ring. We can come back to this conversation in a few years and you can rub it in my face if he just implodes over the next few seasons, but I'm optimistic.

what the offense needs to improve as a whole is stalling for several drives. the offense goes into hibernation for 3 qtrs than wakes up in the 4th but it is usually too late. they need to start off strong and having a running game and minimizing stupid penalties will help

The patriots or cheaters have had a very big advantage over the afc for 2 decades because they play in the weakest division in the afc, so they are almost guaranteed 11 wins regardless of Brady, Matt Cassell or even Jimmy G probably.

You can argue the south but those teams are competative and turning a corner, you have 2 possibly 3 franchise qbs with Andy Luck, Marriota and if a Qb whisperer could fix Bortles. Houston always brings defense.

Ravens are the 1 team thats always been able to go into NE and beat them or put up a legit fight.
Gotta rebuild the defense, more pass rushers,CBs, Lbr/S
Beef up Oline and find a couple weapons

Agree to your division reference. I would love to see re-alignment of divisions. Imagine if AFC North consisted of Baltimore, Pittsburgh, New England and Cinci. No way New England sweeps every year. I have always stated that being in that weak division helps them greatly.

wish we could have had the pats in our division when brady was younger. with him gone in another few years it would not be the same

To simplify: The Ravens need to get THIER butt in gear.

Ditto!! We have better players than Pats overall. Our coaches need better game plans and adjustments.

the key is the adjustments. too late before they make them if they make them at all. pees needs to stop going into safe mode when we have leads. if john cannot get him to do that than john should turn in his resignation

I fear our beloved Ravens organization, which was once the model of excellence for the NFL, has become quite the opposite now. The scouting department is far from what it used to be. Ozzie consistently whiffs with early round selections in the draft, and that is devastating to a team. He, also, believes in an unwise strategy of hoarding as many mid and late round selections as he can get, which produces very few starters but many mediocre players. Yes, he hit on Stanley but, goodness, it was at pick #6. And there was C J a few years ago but, again, that was with pick #17. But, what about his other 1st rounders and his 2nd and 3rd rounders. Not a whole lot, except for misses. Remembering that Bisciotti wanted Ozzie to trade up for Matt Ryan but let Ozzie, instead, wait and pick Flacco, with Ozzie saying that Flacco was the one we wanted, really hurts right about now. I have Never been a Flacco basher but I have come to believe that Ryan is the better QB. And, our FO is horrible at managing the Cap and making personnel decisions that affect it. All this, while considering all the needs we have that this article points out surely does not give me a lot of confidence that we will see much improvement next year. I fear Wagner is as good as gone, as is Williams. All I can do is hope that I am wrong about Everything I have just pointed out, and I certainly Do hope that. I just can no longer say "in Ozzie we trust" because I just don't anymore. Oh well, I'll still ALWAYS love my Ravens, though, in good times and bad.

ryan has a creative oc in shanahan that utilizes his players skills and a gm that has made some solid draft picks. flacco has no creative oc nor players that can make plays. maybe dixon and perriman next season but they are not guaranteed to do so. flacco needs to put in the work as well. read defenses, be quicker in releasing the ball and make the guys around him better. instead of worrying about the deep pass lets make the routes shorter like the patriots do with edelman ammendola and hogan and when defenses move up they burn them with the deep pass. need more plays in the middle of the field as well.

  8. Call me a dreamer if you like, but I have strong feeling that we will get a lot pleasant surprises this off season, hint Alshon Jeffery, Pierre Garçon, Brandon Marshall, CB Trumaine Johnson, Gilmore, Boyle, trade for Harden. Also we will sign Wagner and Juice. We will give a cheaper, cap friendly contract to Doom, Web, Pitta and Wallace. Then the draft will be so nice to us. I know the FO is under pressure and I know they will react well. Last year they were under pressure about missing on draft picks, but what a reaction it was, Stanley, Lewis, Young, Dixon, Jutton and more to come, Kaufusy, Canady, Henry. Let wait and see. I have faith on this organization.

harbaugh and flacco are under pressure as well. if they miss the playoffs next season than several people will be out of jobs.
